31 dollars i wasted here since I ordered a footlong combo that was cold and had nasty meat, a BBQ that was also cold and 2 chicken fry combos that were warm. Teach employees to drop food correctly and I won't lose my money on nasty food my dog didn't even want. In their defense I was the only one in line at 450 or so and its hard to have an entire crew cook 4 things. Next time I'll light my money on fire since that would atleast be hot but thanks for nothing you lazy workers who stole money from me. I took a photo of my hotdog for help but its not even cooked since I can't break it with my hands so I honestly avoided food poisoning 🙃 or worse. Please shut down and hope nobody dies eating from these horrible workers and manager.

My family loves Dairy Queen in Elenor WV. It is a local owned store. So they do not serve Hamburgers only hotdogs.

They still don't have their diner open so you cannot go inside and pick out your cake. The drive thru line is incredibly slow. Worst DQ ever.

EDIT to a year later. Much better then when I posted this last review. Mushrooms are still being overcooked and milkshakes are still too thin. They give napkins and utensils now. Even get a receipt now. Much happier with this dq......🙂 We like the food only sometimes. They never give us napkins. Almost never get the order right. The back window is a problem just for the fact that they give you your order and rush off with no way to get their attention to let them know the order is wrong or there's no spoon or fork. We have stopped eating here. Doesn't matter if your order is wrong or not you don't get a receipt. Has went down hill.

This is my order they charged me $2.89 for a mini and $3.39 for a small. Don’t get me wrong the food is good but they charge you to much.

No cheeseburgers?...Yes, my fiancee and I wanted good old, flame broiled DQ cheeseburgers. Uh uh. Not available there.We settled for chicken sandwiches. They were good though. Food was served hot and freshly cooked through the drive thru window. Friendly lady there to boot.We found a shady spot in the parking lot to eat in the truck. Nice, clean and shady picnic area as well. Good thing. No going indoors to get cooled off while we ate. Hot food, hot day. .We sure pulled in there with cheeseburgers on our minds.They had been discussed on down the road and we eagerly looked forward to eating some. Can't beat Dairy Queen's hamburgers. Oh well. I'm grown. You take what's offered and we were starving.Popular place! I was concerned for the people in cars lined up out in the highway waiting to order.Hot and fresh meal. Limited menu though.

I have to say, this is the worst DQ that visited frequently and will not do so again. I kept giving them chance after chance to get it right. My husband and I have been frequenting the Eleanor location, as our DQ is under construction. We order medium cones dipped in chocolate and a small fry. By the time we get our medium cones obviously, they have melted down to small. Upon biting into the chocolate, ice cream goes EVERYWHERE… down your cone, all over your hand and car seat. You can’t even enjoy your cone and is a complete disaster. Twice is enough for me and won’t ever be returning. I’d rather take my chances of McDonald’s ice cream machine being up and running, which a roll of the dice, but still a better decision!!!

Has declined over the years such a shame but overall the food is alright I guess would rather go to ripley dq or the one and Scott depot and what’s up with the no dine in still that’s really ridiculous makes me not even wanna stop especially since the lines so long for the drive thru open your doors we’ve waited long enough and some of the staff could be trained better according to an ex employee I used to talk to

This is one of my favorite Dairy Queen's on the east coast. They have chicken fries instead of a regular chicken basket and they are amazing!! The staff is also extremely friendly, which is a huge plus! Overall this is one of my favorite places to eat and I definitely recommend.

You would Think that the person that was making blizzards was paying for the ingredients themselves. I have tried this numerous times and every time the blizzard taste like No Taste ice cream. To pay over five dollars for a blizzard and no taste. I know you're trying to save money but you're Only losing business. And why can't you open the lobby? You're making money off of this ice cream so put it back in the business and open the lobby

It is a smaller and older establishment. The food was still good, however their menus were limited more compared to others I have been to. It looked clean and I enjoyed using the picnic tables under the shade trees. My one big complaint was that their ice cream was very runny. I'm not sure if their machine was broken, but it's no fun for a kid when they want a cone and wind up with a milkshake.

The hotdogs have no flavor whatsoever in the chili or slaw unless you like bland and vinegar. Complete waste of 4.00 and I was hungry. Nasty and went in the trash!!!

We drove 30 minutes to treat our kids to dinner and ice cream. The lobby was closed, so we went through the drive through. They didn’t give me a meal on one order and so it was only a sandwich. The wait was to long to go back again.We sat outside at the provided tables to eat. My 5 yr. old daughter had to use the bathroom. The young man said he had to ask his manager, who said no. Even though she was about to pop, they didn’t care. I asked where the manager was and he would not come up to speak to me. Instead, stayed in the back to let the young man deal with his poor decision. I had to leave my family eating and driver her to another store. To say the least our ice cream was melted and food cold. I will not go back. Poor customer service and the food was lacking.

This is the best Dairy Queen there is. They still make the original treats Mr Misty, Mr Misty Floats, Dilly Bars, dipped cones as well as the new ones Blizzards and Freezes. Hot dogs chili taste the same as it did 50 years ago. Down home people that remember you every time you come in.

DQ has been my favorite place to eat for over 35 years. The one here in Eleanor is always clean and the service is awesome. I'm glad my kids have the chance to enjoy it like I still do.

Fries were way too salty and soft. And according to the website it was supposed to have Coke products and that is won't. According to website they have 4 and 6 piece chicken baskets, that is also wrong, only 4 piece. Please, who it matters to, please get this info fixed or the store fixed.

Long wait, unprofessional staff, poor drive thru location, dirty bathroom, orders wrong/old. I have been to this location a few times, it is the closest ice cream shop within a 30-minute Drive. Oftentimes the one is backed up along the side of the road to get to the ordering sign. If there are more than two cars in the Drive-Thru, expect a 15 to 20-minute wait on average. Once you get to the window, check your order because the ice cream may be melted and your blizzard, cold hot items, and if you ask them to redo it, do not be surprised if you were met with resistance. There seems to be a revolving door on the staff, and if the staff would pay as much attention to the customers, as they do themselves, their phones, or visiting friends, they would be a five star Diamond Resort in Mexico. If you decide to go in, don't be surprised at the conditions of customer areas such as the tables and the bathroom which has smelled like cigarettes more than once. The only reason I come here, is because it is still faster to go through this line, than to go to the next location, but not by much.

Hands down you can not find a hotdog like they have here anywhere in the US. Yes you can find some good dogs but the Eleanor DQ is in its own category.

Have been here before and food was good, but probably the slowest fast food establishment around. Just stopped by earlier ans was one of 4 cars to give up and leave after a span of a little over 20 minutes.

Most horrible owner I’ve ever MET. I ordered a birthday cake here and they messed up the order and gave me no designs whatsoever. The designs I ordered and the employee failed to write them down. The owner told me I was wrong and liar and told me to “just deal with it” on my BIRTHDAY.He said “the customer may be right, but we’re right too”. He gave no compensation, he was too concerned about defending his employee rather than pleasing his customer and calling me a liar.
