Great small town store. Well stocked with everything you need, including beer and wine. We were able to get what we needed for a five day trip to the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking lot.

Cashiers didn't want to work. They just want to move customers over to another line so they don't have to ring them up. Limited supplies of brands but enough of the basic stuff like milk, plant milk, ready brewed coffee.

They have everything and anything as all grocery stores do. Fair prices, quality meats. They have to do a great deal of business due to their the closest grocery store with all necessities when staying in Canaan Valley

Good selection for such a rural town, pretty good prices as long as you go generic. Basically the only way to get groceries in the Canaan valley area. Not much organics, etc around here.

this place is so nice to get groceries from. they don't have a huge selection of international foods/produce or anything, but for standard grocery food stuff they are honestly the best around. pretty low prices make it easy to get what you want without worrying about how expensive it'll be. it's also locating in a really good spot right by dollar general and some cafes, so if you're staying in the nearby area this will most likely be the best option for shopping and everything. it will most likely have everything you need in terms of snacks and ingredients for your meals. super helpful!!the staff was super nice too! cashier was very kind and welcoming even in just a short interaction.

When you are the only game in town(s) you can operate with a little chip on your shoulder. And they do and i played with them and was fine with it. Be sure to take advantage of your senior discount on Tuesdays.

I am reviewing this store based on the location being Davis, WV. If this were in the DC area it would get more like two stars but it's a nice store for out in the boondocks. The produce is very fresh. The strawberries look beautiful and the limes perfect. I found some yummy looking crusty bread and cheese. I needed to pick up a few basics and found everything I needed and was in and out in no time. Very good shopping experience.

Since this is only store for 3 towns I think, of course it's awesome!!They sell ice, beer & wine, firewood, and all the grocery items one would need while vacationing or camping. Also sell fishing supplies, & bait kept in with beers! Staff is super helpful & nice.Dollar store next door makes this the only (literally!) place to go!!

This seems to be the same as the Food Depot chain of stores in Georgia. Either way, the prices are a bit hit or miss depending on what you are purchasing. The service I received was pretty good for the most part, and the produce I purchased was great. The hours are reasonable for the area. This is not your “mega mart”, so they will not have EVERYTHING, but they will have most items necessary to put all but the most gourmet meals on the table.

I was pleasantly surprised by the prices and selection. We purchased a mix of items, salad, fresh produce, the fried chicken in the deli was great a priced very reasonable, we also purchased deli ham, hamburger, frozen foods, they also had a wide variety of drinks. They people were great, service was outstanding, really appreciate it.

Pretty well layed out grocery store. The cashier who helped us was amazingly sweet and very patient with my aunt and I. Had a nice experience here. The bacon however was in three separate locations so not everything is placed together causing you to circle the store a bit. The wine was also far away from the beer which was odd.

This place has some really good stuff in it. If I had known it was here I would have not shopped at home before heading up here for vacation. BTW it has a great wine and beer selection (even gives you a "build a six pack" option.

It's ok, it's the only grocery store around so it has that going for it. The "s" on the sign is smashed out so it looks kinda run down ( hop 'n save) and the selection of food is limited. What they do have seems fresh although I did see moldy strawberries. You can get certain good items cheaper next door at the Dollar general like milk and chips

These guys are great. Decent selection and prices. Meat is very high quality, especially the pork. Super nice staff. And parking is NO PROBLEM. (Think that is what other reviewer meant.).

Didnt look clean , shelves pretty wiped out and messy. Small deli and bakery.could tell the young boys at register were emoyees hoodie on, no uniform or name tags. Not very personable, or talkitive at all.

Only game in town. Don't expect the best cut of meats, but will save you a trip to Elkins or Deep Creek. Beer selection is surprisingly good. Fresh veggies are hit and miss.Terrible customer service. Expect very little from the employees here and you will be okay.

This place had lots to offer. My wife and I got a great deal on her speciality milk(fairlaine). It was 2 for $8. Also, they sell outdoor patio chairs and accessories. The staff was very friendly and I was greeted several times. This store is a must stop when vacationing in Caanan Valley.
