Met my cousins here for a weekend to celebrate a special birthday. It was very clean. Impressive. A great place for spending time with a group of people. Recommend everyone brings good, sturdy walking shoes; the driveway is a little steep. (It is W. Virginia after all.) People that came in trucks definitely had an easier time anytime they left the cabin; i.e., driving to drop trash off, getting groceries we forgot, as well as backing up close to the cabin for unloading the cars. Beautiful cabin. Highly recommend.If the owners read this, the front screen door SLAMS shut. If I had anything I'd want changed, fixing that would be it. 🙂.

No AC & hot during the night. The emenadies were well stocked and It was pretty inside and out with a nice hot tub and close fire pit with a swing. It was super hot inside though, impossible to sleep. It is more made for fall and winter rentals. No AC, no ceiling fans in any bedrooms. Super expensive for the rough sleeping conditions. We were not aware of no AC until we arrived because it didn't specify on the rental agreements; make sure to read every part. Other than the temps it was lovely with a great kitchen and porches!

Clean and comfy house. It was a pleasant surprise that the house had books, toys, and games. The main negative is the treacherous, steep, rocky, root-filled trail leading up to the extremely uneven fire pit. We unfortunately could only have a fire one night during our four day stay there because it just wasn't safe for all ages to be hiking up to the fire pit.
