We first became acquainted with VikBob a few years ago when we purchased a bottle of the maple brandy. It was great and we’ve used it in different recipes. We are currently soaking black cherries in a jar of the “stuff”. This summer (actually August) we stopped by and met Heather who is creating jars with the ingredients including oak spirals to make her “recipes” like Apple Pie and Strawberry Lemonade. We did some tastings and decided to buy one of her kits for making apple pie brandy. We also bought a jar of the clear brandy. Both owners are willing to provide free tastings and they’ll take the time to chat. You don’t feel rushed. We vacation in Tucker County West Virginia every summer and we’ll continue to stop in for a visit every year.

In the area for a weekend getaway and stopped in. Vic was super nice and helpful! He gave us plenty of sample tastes! Bought a bottle of Maple Syrup moonshine for my dad! And the maple syrup itself was delcious! Also had a nice jalapeño syrup as well!

Located on the basement level below Highland Market, this is a small, no-frills outlet for VicBob's apple brandy and similar products. They also have a selection of shirts, stickers, locally produced maple syrup, and other merchandise. Free tastings are available. The liquor isn't cheap, expect $40-60 prices, but is pretty good for local moonshine/applejack. Check it out if you're on your way home from the ski resorts.

Vic is a super nice guy welcomed me and my boys into his distillery. Let me sample his liquors before purchasing. Had some maple syrup for the kids to sample as well. Recommended

Visited on my way out of town; great discussion and excellent spirits. Bought a fifth for my grandma and my wife. If the price point seems high, know that high quality liquors run around the $50 price point and above. I might regret that I should have bought more.

Awesome spot, so happy to see someone who is passionate about their craft and is personable with each patron. I would recommend a stop, and if your lucky snag a jar of the maple syrup moonshine with a jar of his brandy!
