You're going to find somethings are not there as opposed to a regular shopping center but all together a nice store conveniently in town. Would like to try the deli food but was closed when I last visited.

I wouldn't shop there if it was the last store on Earth. Disgusting food, extravagant prices, unfriendly employees, and questionable hiring/firing practices. Will not recommend applying for a job there.

Foodland doesn't have extensive inventory in produce, but what they carry is usually pretty fresh. I always go for the baby carrots & the packaged small cucumbers. The meat section has fresh-looking items. I've gotten the hamburger & pork loin in the past & they're quite flavorful. My husband & I like to stop by on the way home to get yogurt (to avoid going to the bigger stores), but the selection has gone down considerably. Several flavors we get on a regular basis are no longer available here, which is disappointing. Foodland is convenient for a lot of rural people, but if you want lots of variety, you'll need to go elsewhere.

Prices are a little high but I love getting my steaks here. They have the best cut of Ribeyes plus usually cheaper than most places. They have a lot of products you can't find in other stores, so for the most part the higher prices on some items . So in my opinion it isn't too bad considering our gas prices lately! So it definitely beats having to put gas in my car to drive 15 more min to our closest Walmart!

Prices high. Not much in deli selection. Ham, turkey 50 different ways. Fried chicken very hard to eat. Have never been early enough to catch meat on sale. "Oh, they cleaned us out last night". Really? Somebody needs to hire a clerk or manager that knows how to order. Limit of 2 works good.

I loved the variety of products sold here and the different brands but it was rather more expensive than usual i believe. Sometimes it's worth it just to get out of shopping at the same place over and over! The staff were friendly and helpful as well...no buggie returns outside😔. Over all a good place to shop for groceries...occasionally!

Foodland is loaded with nice, helpful employees & is keeping things stocked good under the circumstances. Prices are higher if you can believe that. Wish I'd had more money to send though. Would've bought more. It's a pleasant store to shop at but I'm so glad to be home!!

They put stuff on sale they don't have in stock, and probably don't even carry. Can't find anyone out on the sales floor to help you. Some of the employees are really rude. I didn't go there at all when it was owned by Facemire, I thought I'd give them another chance after they were bought out, but it's obvious nothing has changed.Edit: Foodland has really improved. The shelves are well stocked and they usually have an large supply of their advertised sale items. Some of the prices are a little higher but it's closer and more convenient than Walmart or Food Lion.

Very greatful for the extended shopping hours was able to feed the small platoon thanks to the pick 5 deals. Not the most expanded selection by any means but still not the worst I've dealt with. Friendly staff and quick service. That's a win in my book.

I love shopping here. Tje store is clean and well organized. There is a plentiful produce dept. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. The prices are congruent with a tight budget.

They keep a good stock of things except my lactise free milk. The reason for the 2 stars is because of their prices. The price they charge for their groceries is rediculous!

As usual, I got what I wanted had a good price and was very pleased with the purchase. The staff were very friendly and courteous, and I am very pleased with dealing with this store. Give everyone a raise.

Quick check-out. Always have Coke products on sale. It's local, friendly employees. ONLYPROBLEM IS DON'T KEEP A VERY GOOD FOOD STOCK, most shelves r empty rather than stocked!!! 😀

This place is a joke! Unfortunately, it's the only grocery store close to my home. Just had a 10 items for $10 sale & with their receipt, customers receive a free bag of candy. But how "free" can it be if you still pay the difference?! Sorry, but not everyone is as stupid as you people treat them! Thanx for your rudeness again too, by the way. At least that can always be expected.

Worst Foodland I've ever been to! Their meat is way over priced, for example (The roast beef costs $9.99 per lb.)Roast beef at every other food store/establishment costs far less than Craigsville Foodland, for example (roast beef at any other store costs no more than $6-$7 max..)Their shelves and isles are and have been half empty and going baron.The service there is slow and inconvenient on a daily basis.Some of the employees are rude and ill mannered.Their sanitation and cleanliness are very poor, such as food handlers not wearing hair nets, plastic gloves, and not keeping a clean and healthy work environment to handle their deli/meat products."I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOODLAND TO ANYONE IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERN FOR YOUR HEALTH, SAFTEY, AND SATISFACTION!"

This is a lot better foodland with better management now they got new owners about 5 years ago so most of the shelves are usually stocked now the only bad thing is is the deli is always closed but that's because nobody wants to work because of the covid

Store makes customers wait. We were told at the deli, woman told us she had a big order to fill. Couldn't take time out to cut 2 lbs of meat! Aug. 12, to 18th had pork ribs 1.49 lb. No ribs! Asked butcher, he said they hit them up bad last night and wouldn't have any more till later that day. Who's in charge of ordering? They have a sale like that but don't figure to many people would want to take advantage? In ohio they would of asked how many lbs, I wanted and cut them while I waited. They have lost my business. I will go to walmart, where I don't have to wait!
