Hilltop Coffee was recommended to me by a family friend, and I was not disappointed. They have a variety of items on the menu (both hot and cold) from regular brewed coffee to seasonal frappes. I got the white chocolate mocha, and it was very light and flavorful. The coffee wasn't bitter and it had the right amount of foam.They even have non-coffee items for people who don't drink coffee. My husband got the london fog, and it was brewed perfectly and didn't need any additions to make it good.The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely plan to come back whenever I'm in town.

At the top of a hill, in an old elementary school lies this amazing gem. I got a London Fog, and it's absolutely one of the best I've ever had anywhere. I grew up in this area, and I can say that the quality of the food and drinks here is far better than anything I could have gotten growing up. Hilltop coffee is amazing - and the manager, Suzanne, is friendly, personable, and was very fun to talk to. We will make this a regular stop on our way through WV in the future!

We went in to get coffee & food (10:30ish am), 12/22/2023. Visit area few times a year to see family. Live 4 hours away & though not in a huge hurry- we were trying to get on the road.Went in, girl at register had 2 customers (apparently her friends, a mother & adult daughter). After more than 10 minutes of the 3 chitchatting & zero acknowledgment of us waiting, she finally took our coffee order. My husband really wanted food too, but after all that we just wanted to get the coffee & leave.Not sure who the owner is, but you should know the 3 girls working never greeted us, acknowledged us, etc until after the mother, daughter & girl at register (who was in-charge) were done chitchatting. & Though she was nice taking our order- there was no “thanks for waiting, sorry about that”…nothing. The coffee was good, but VERY overpriced. Especially after being so rudely ignored. Neither of us could believe how unaware everyone there was. Will not return on our next visits. Guessing this place will be closed by the time we get back running it that way. Such a shame.Parking: Odd set up & hard to find the shop.

I have been a top tier local guides reviewer for awhile now, I heard this shop from a friend, and knew that I had to try it since it was in my old elementary school. All I can say is wow, the place is georgous on the inside, and I've tried a few of thier drinks orange dreamsicle, the hot coco, white wedding, and the peppermint (my favorite). Not one of them disappointed. It's safe to say this place is gonna be replacing my starbucks and chocolate moose runs for sure!!!

Walked in for a latte, came out with a peanut butter cookie, two brownies, a cinnamon roll, two frappes, and a carmel iced coffee...Oh and one of the best lattes I've ever tasted. The place isn't what you're expecting but it's just what you're wanting; amazing choices of outta this world flavored drinks. The prices are great too, beating your big chains with competitive flavors. 11/10 This is my newest place to buy my lattes...and peanut butter cookies. Don't forget about your puppers too!!

This is for the Oak Hill location as it’s not on google yet. The place is so cute and very inviting not to mention it was extremely clean. I’m not a coffee person at all but the iced maple blonde cold foam latte was great. Tiffany was my barista and I hope I get her each time she was so friendly. Definitely recommend checking out Oak Hills new gem.

Where do I begin... Suzie, Sydney, and Mareya are the most friendly and thoughtful girls you could ever come across. They have my order memorized down to a science and they make it a 10/10 experience every time I am at Hilltop. On top of having the best coffee, they also have some of the tastiest scones I’ve ever tried. I love that Hilltop offers the coffee and scones to go deal because it was the perfect addition to have on the morning of my wedding. Also, buy all the merch. I have a navy hoodie (maybe the softest hoodie I have ever owned) and coffee mug that I use daily. I drive out of my way and past other coffee shops because I know that I won’t be disappointed in my experience at Hilltop. Thank you, Hilltop and your staff, for all of your hard work and dedication to keeping the community caffeinated!!!!

A nice scenic stop for some tea and treats! The location is attached to a neurology clinic with a beautiful and generous space to study/work and relax. I just wanted some tea and a space to work for a bit. The ladies here were so pleasant and the tea was great.

This place is super cute and SO GOOD! I tried the November latte and a cinnamon roll, and both were amazing. This may very well have been the best cinnamon roll I've had in my life. My husband (who does not really like sweets) also tried the cinnamon roll, and he literally talked about how good it was the whole ride home (we live in NC). I'm so glad I got to check this place out, it's a must-try for sure!

Great local coffee shop. Very trendy space with lots of space for lounging and even outdoor seating. Coffee was great. Food (sandwiches and pastries) was good as well. I will be back. The only feedback I have is consider putting a changing station in one of the bathrooms.

I have visited Hilltop Coffee quite a few times since it has been open - with the myriad of amazing compliments I have heard about the quality of the staff and goods how could I resist?I find it to be a very inviting place with friendly atmosphere. You don't feel rushed, out of placed, or a bother when you're there trying to decide what delicious treat you will try next. The staff seems to get along wonderfully - which is why some may be surprised and suspicious by the very few one star reviews you might find. The manager, Suzie, is a delight in the coffee shop and you can tell that good energy transfers to the rest of the staff there.Even though I live closer to two Starbucks and a Dunkin Donuts I drive right past those and choose Hilltop every time I'm in the mood for hot coffee or delicious energy drink knowing my journey will be well worth it.Don't let reviews full of misplaced malice deter you from a wonderful coffee experience.In summary- ten out of ten - will patronized many times again.

Decided to give Hilltop Coffee Company a try after finally giving up on the local Starbucks (due to horrible service). The drive is a few more miles but it is well worth it. Coffee is a great replacement for the other brand and the prices are better too. They have a wide choice of drinks as well as items such as scones, brownies, and cookies. They also have a few gourmet items as well. I'vr tried the Brown Sugar Cinnamon scones and it was delicious. The Frappes are good although I have to admit I'm used to a bigger cup but reality sets in and you realize it's quality that matters not quantity.The atmosphere is a 1000% better too. Just people enjoying their food and drinks without a bunch of people there taking up all the space just to access the internet.If you're in the area be sure to stop by and grab a drink and a scone. You won't be disappointed.

This was our first trip here. The barista was very friendly and made good suggestions. The cinnamon roll was amazing. She offered to heat it up, which I highly recommend. The were very clean. They also have a deck to sit on and enjoy your coffee.

I recently discovered Hilltop Coffee from the recommendation of a friend and I can honestly say I wish I would’ve found this place much sooner. I’ve been coming to Hilltop for roughly two months now and I am always delighted to see every member of the staff. When I come in I am typically greeted by Susie, the manager, and she always remembers my specific drink order! I always feel welcome when I arrive to grab a quick cup or to sit and relax for a while. Think Chic-Fil-a-type of service, but specifically geared towards coffee.I could go on-and-on regarding the staff, but let me delve into the food for a moment. The food is delicious, plain and simple. I highly recommend their avocado toast as it is better than any other’s efforts that I’ve tried. Their pastries are delicious, as well, and they have plenty of different choices. Their coffee is tasty and reasonably priced, but the best selling point are all of the options they have available.I have unfortunately read a couple unflattering reviews and I can’t help but think that they have a personal vendetta against Hilltop and its staff. I have never had a terrible experience at Hilltop and I would argue that those who have unflattering words are being mean for the sake of being mean. It is unfortunate that these “coffee trolls” (a term I just coined and can be freely used by anyone) have nothing better to do than to ruin someone’s day.Hilltop Coffee is a terrific outlet for our local community and is a destination that I frequent several times a week. It would be a disservice to yourself not to try some delicious coffee served by wonderful people.

I stop in here a few times a week and there are so many reasons why I adore this place! The outside area is so nice when weather allows and the added seating area inside has allowed me to come and do work from my laptop in a nice quiet environment. They have an iced keto latte on the menu in addition to many sugar free syrups that allows me and my husband to have a treat without the guilt. The baristas and manager are always so warm and welcoming, I wear out my punch cards coming in so often!

This place is awesome! Huge selection of drinks, with some of the best tasting coffee! The lattes really stand out from the taste of the espresso in them! The Thai Latte is very good as well with Coconut Cold Foam! Cinnamon rolls and Avocado Toast are also great!

Great place for a coffee date or discussion meeting. Nice outdoor deck with comfortable seating. I had the amaretto latte and it was fantastic. Looking forward to a return trip to try the scones. The staff is super friendly and very professional.
