Amazing group of people . They are always friendly to us and our bostons family. They have helped us with care credit , yearly shots and update notifications, kept us in the loop for surgeries and pickups, taken excellent care of checking our puppies and keeping records . Very friendly group of people . They don't talk to you and force you too buy extra stuff only what you need . They update you on costs of having stuff done ( Quotes ) so you can plan ahead . I would refer anyone in the area too them. Thank yall so much .

If there was a zero star option I would give it. My husband brought our dog in for a nail trim and they charged us $80. He did not ask to be seen by a doctor, the dog already had an annual exam and just needed a nail trim. Then the nail trim was trash and they didn’t even get them short or smooth them out. The dog then scratched my 83 year old grandma and made a huge gash. Cannot recommend this vet clinic.

Unbelievable. Come in because my dog is puking shaking and struggling to walk. First thing the doctor says is must've gotten into your meth. Then continues on about how she wants to do a urinary test to see what drugs it got into and that it would cost me $150 just for the test. Then when I declined was told could do a blood test. After a lot of back and forth we decided to do a medicine to calm down his shaking and a liquid iv. Note my dog is under 5 lbs. So two ladies come in to administer the shot. They were holding the dog as expected and they ended up stabbing him twice with the needle and yelling and cursing at the dog. They called in a third lady to hold him down and it took another two stabs before they "might have got it in" (vet assistance words). Then wraps her hands around it's neck and holds its face on the table will putting an iv in his back. After the 30 second I've was done the main lady tries flipping my dog onto its side and it panicked so I told her he doesn't lay on his side like that. The reason was to pinch his skin together after the IV. After I said that she got mad, walked out saying do it myself. So I had to pay for that and take him home and wash him off due to bleeding from both his legs and back. If you don't want to pay to have your animal abused don't go here.

Very thoughtful with my 13 year on Chaweenie that was hit by a vehicle, had a broken left back leg, cuts on the Right hind leg and a fractured pelvic, and heart murmur. Bless her heart they took care of her for over a week, very gentle with my little dog. I you all at CrabOr Love this place, the Best in my book.

Would not recommend to ANYONE!!I took my 5 month old cat because he was not walking more than a few steps. The staff did not use care with him, and kept forcing him down even while he was screaming to be let go. Even in this pain he did not bite or scratch. He has never in his life been aggressive or scratched someone. The staff was rushing the whole thing along. I allowed them to do an x-ray as long as they were careful because he was in pain, to see if something was broken and from the room I sat in I had to listen to my cat scream and cry making noises i have never heard before from being pulled around and shoved. When they brought him back he was holding his paw up and limping around the table (which he was NOT doing before). The staff then proceeded to make my cat out to be aggressive saying he scratched them out of no where!This place has no regard for the animal’s comfort, and they give you your pets back in worse condition than when you bring them in.!

Stopped in without an appointment just to see if my pup could be seen. I have never used this location before. Although they are an extension from my regular vet office. Vet was in surgery and would had seen us after. Very nice receptionist, helpful, and clean facility. Had I of had the time we would have stayed. I definitely will keep the location in mind as a back up.Dec. 2022- Very impressed with the staff at this location. Had to have our dog of almost 11 years euthanized. After already discussing w another vet, I dreaded it even more. The compassion my son and I received was above and beyond my expectations.. We weren't rushed, weren't hounded over our decision, n the tech gave my son as much time as he wanted afterwards. Given this kid didn't know a life without this dog, they grew up together. I expressed that to the tech after wards n her reply- " Given thier ages I figured that and that's why I said take as much time as u need. I knew it would be hard for him." A ray of sunshine during the storm.

The vet here is the worst person I have ever met, cold hearted with no compassion at all in fact the whole staff seemed to be heartlesswith no love for animals. If you love your pet I would not take it here

Would not recommend.My fur baby has had some stomach problems for a bit now. We arrived at the vet office early in the morning. The lady in the front just sat in her chair and didn’t pay us any mind when as we waited to check in. They claimed my 4 month old pup was aggressive and tried to muzzle her and when she would never hurt a fly. Mind you my pup is around a child with autism all of the time! When it came time to pay they treated me and my pup like we were a threat, telling the other patients and their owners to “stay in your rooms” over all we will not be back.

Would not recommend this place for even an ant they were very rough with our 4 month old kitten we brought him in as a walk in because the kitten was having trouble walking which raised some concern so we rushed as soon is we could the following day the vet tech that was on staff took his temperature was very rough told us to hold him down by his while she took his temp which is very unprofessional secondly the vet who was on the clock gave us a run around of what could be wrong with him seemed as if he didn’t know what he was doing. We opted to get him X-rays just to see if anything could be seriously wrong so they took him to get X-rays and our kitten who never loudly was shrieking in pain and when they brought him back to us he was now limping on his front leg and the veterinarian processed to tell us it seems like he’s just hurting all over we will give him a shot to help us with the pain . We ended up paying 240 for only have our kitten in more pain than when he arrived if you care about your animal do not bring them here

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.My fiancé took our 5 month old female German Shepard in as a walk in. Everything was great until the vet went to take her temp and was extremely rough with her. It hurt and made our dog very scared so she was whining and trying to get away from the vet. The vet, clearly frustrated, make a HUGE scene. She was yelling for a muzzle despite our dog showing NO signs of aggression. She NEVER ONCE growled, barked, or anything towards the staff, other customers, or us even when she was scared. Even as my fiancé was checking out the vet kept yelling “stay in your rooms. We have an aggressive dog” over and over. We have never felt so HUMILIATED in our LIVES. Our sweet GSD is extremely social and has never once growled, barked, or shown any aggressive behavior towards family, friends, children, strangers, and other animals. This staff should feel absolutely ashamed for their behavior today.

I have been using this clinic for years. This is a great clinic. They have a great staff that is very passionate about helping your fur/scale/feather baby. They've treated my snakes, iguanas, ferrets, parrots, dogs, and cats very well and to the best of their abilities. If they can't help, they find help. Both clinics are great to go to. Very dramatic staff. Needs to reevaluate what the term “aggressive dog” means. I’m sure a dog WHINING over a thermometer going in their rear is whine worthy. There was no need for the staff to start screaming “STAY IN YOUR ROOMS WE HAVE AN AGGRESSIVE DOG” over a 4 month old german shepherd PUP. and also trying to muzzle said dog, when again, she was NOT being aggressive nor showing signs of aggression. SMH

I loved the Vet at Crab Orchard she was very and gentle with my big doggo she took apeice of suture out of his ear that had been left in there and infected from when I first got him. I thought he would need surgery and that is was gonna cost me alot of money. But it didnt she took it right out he hasnt had and infection since and had been keeping them.

I wouldn't take a dog there you know the saying. This time it's true,,let our schnauzer die because she was scared to examine him. My gosh heard of a muzzle your a vet. Short story he died because of her decision and negligence neglected to use a muzzle.
