Excellent pretzels. Neat atmosphere cool place to visit. New to brewing....needs some more experience but will check back soon. We paddled the elk river from Queen rd put in to the elk river trail takeout prior to our visit and the river paddling added a great preqil to our visit.

We stopped on a Sunday for a late lunch and walked away satisfied, even surprised by some of the dishes. To get the so-so out of the way, the pepperoni roll was just average and the side of coleslaw was tasty but ground super fine, like hotdog slaw from the old DQ. Tasty but no crunch, just mush. Lastly, the menu is small. Very small. Still, they are off to a great start. Now, on the positive, and it’s definitely a positive: the potato salad! My lunch buddy and I are traditionalists regarding this particular dish, so w once we saw it we were ready to be let down. Wrong! The use of cream cheese/sour cream paired so well with the sandwich and was so well liked there was nothing left of the generous portion served by the time we called for a small box. I mentioned the sandwich. Another big positive is the BBQ pork. I had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich, and it was delicious, mild but flavorful, and not overloaded with sauce, allowing a nice smoky pork flavor to stand alone. We also tried the pretzel and it was totally worthy. Huge, salty, but while advertised with cheese, we had none. Lunch buddy prefers mustard so I let it go. I certainly had enough to deal with with my sandwich and two sides. All in all a great experience, would like to see more items added to the menu as they can, and look forward to returning with the hubby to experience their in house brews!

This is a neat little place inside the old Clendenin State Bank building. The old vault is still there in the dining room! They made a special lemonade brew that was really good. I was told they just whipped it up from scratch on a whim. You should check it out!

Great bartender, friendly folks, good conversation. Every single beer was fresh and the pours were spot on! I haven’t seen so many stouts on tap at a single brewery in a while! Will definitely come back. -JB and Kelli

Definitely worth stopping in and having a beer. Brewing side open to restaurant. Looks like serious operation….however I just drink the beer honestly have no idea how to make it. Clendenin is it’s own fun little town and looks to be coming up.

Great selection of beer, very good service and a decent menu. Very friendly environment for kids and pets. Highly recommend!
