Passing through Clarksburg and decided to stop at their Walmart.. absolute mistake. Bought some groceries for the week since I’m in the area. Grocery aisles had empty boxes all over the shelves and floors, product on the floors..Fast forward I bit, I got my groceries back to the hotel I’m at for the week.. I open up the hamburger buns I bought(dated September 21st, and me not bothering to look at the date.. cause why would I?) Anyways, I opened the package of buns and half of them were covered in mold. So not only are the grocery aisles trashed, they have outdated buns(at the least) .. make sure to look at dates y’all.

Was able to find everything I needed quickly. The self checkout was simple and easy. Absolutely love using the Walmart app to check out my items as I shop. Just drop my items in a reusable grocery bag as I do and when I'm done, just pay in the app and skip checkout altogether!

I’ve not once had a good experience with the pick up, and I gave it several tries. I thought, “Maybe the day I’m picking, or the time even, is usually hard to staff or they’re super busy.” So I scheduled different days at different times, and without fail my order was either delayed or even better, cancelled completely after I had received a text that it was ready. NEVER have I had a problem like this at another Walmart.

Abysmal experience. As a Walmart + subscriber, you get to utilize a service called scan and go, which allows you to quickly pay on your way out while scanning your products as you shop. A supposed time-saving feature... They need to change the name to scan and harass since that is what this particular store enjoys doing. While my purchases were being ravaged through like bins at the Goodwill Outlet by the overzealous Walmart ghestapo, a dozen customers strolled through self checkouts purchasing/stealing, who really knows. But it was more important to body cavity search the guy who had a paid subscription to Walmart +.To add, everything was accounted for, paid for, and the employee seemed perturbed because of it.

My son and me went to Walmart and used the self checkout. As we were heading to the door I stopped and let someone go in front of me. Then I noticed a guy walking away from the buggies and looking at me. He told two girls to go out the door ahead of me and didn’t say anything to them about a receipt. He came up to me and said he needed to see my receipt and that they were told to start checking receipts. I took my receipt out and showed it to him then my son went to hand him his receipt and he told him he didn’t need to see it. Another lady stopped and held out her receipt but he just looked at her and walked away. I feel like I was being accused of shoplifting. First of all I would never do that and second of all there was two guys watching my son and me ring up our stuff. This was uncalled for! I was made to feel like a thief and I was very upset by this! I have no idea why they would do this! I have spent over three hundred dollars there in the past two weeks but no more. I will drive to the Fairmont Walmart and shop there instead of going to the one on Emily Drive!

OMG, this store is a disaster. I work for Walmart over 300 miles away and I was embarassed. Empty shelves. No carts when we arrived nor when we left. Very understaffed. Beef and poultry cases almost completely empty. No, I mean no, seafood and the cooler was on and cold. 75% of the produce area was empty. The store was a mess, dirty, very under stocked. One very nice older woman told me they were very understaffed and that it had been that way for a long time. I felt so bad for them I wanted to jump in and help. A black eye for Walmart. No where even close to Walmart standards.

The workers that we dealt with were rude. I understand closing early on Christmas Eve, but to follow me and steady telling me if I am not checked out by 6:10,then I can't have my stuff. Next, to stand in line from 10 till 6 and at 6:15 it won't take my card and we ask why, and they ignore us. Funny thing is, we went back twice since and once we used the same checkout,the card was denied again. We have used other lanes and the card works fine.

I was visiting family. We ordered online and did curbside service. I've noticed this is the same problem with other Walmart's curbside service both here and several Walmart's in the Florida area I shop. The quality of service. From the employees doing the shopping for your customers. Example "Over ripped vegetables and fruits, or cracked eggs, better yet... Out of stock." However, once I'm told that an item in my order is out of stock, upon arrival to pick up my order I always go inside stores to see, and it has been my experience 99% of the time the item is on shelf. The over ripped vegetables and fruits? Your employees should ask themselves "Would You Buy This For Yourself?". Those people that miss your 24 hour store hours to avoid crowds will go to less busy competitive stores and others will just go inside your Walmart store to shop and get the better looking products for themselves, then use the self checkout.

They think everyone who walks through their doors are coming in with the motive to rob them blind or something. I don't know how many times I've been stopped or approached because they believed I was trying to steal something, or they thought I wasn't scanning all of my items. I wish their was a better place to shop at around her.

My friends EBT card wouldn't scan when she was checking out. Normally at most places they won't allow you to manually type in the card number and the cashier was nice enough to allow my friend to type hers in to get her groceries. Which was a blessing bc we rarely have a ride to go grocery shopping and we did that day

I’d give ZERO IF I COULD. LESS THAN 2 YEARS AGO I BOUGHT FOUR NEW TIRES AND WAS SOLD THE WARRANTY. I WAS TOLD YOU GET A NAIL IN YOUR TIRE YOU COME HERE WE FIX IT OR REPLACE IT. IVE HAD THE TIRES 1 YEAR AND 10 MONTHS AND TODAY I GOT A NAIL IN MY TIRE. I GO TO GET IT FIXED AND WAS TOLD THE TIRE IS TOO WORN AND THE WARRANTY WAS VOIDED IN THAT CASE. I BARELY DRIVE AND SAID THE TIRES ARENT EVEN TWO YEARS OLD. THE TECH SAID “WELL THEN ITS A MECHANICAL ISSUE AND NOT COVERED.” I ASKED WHY DIDNT ANYONE TELL ME THAT WHEN I BOUGHT THE WARRANTY AND WAS TOLD I SHOULD HAVE READ THE FINE PRINT. I HOPE THIS STORE AND COMPANY CAN READ THIS LARGE PRINT THAT THEYRE SCAMMERS AND I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INSIDE ANOTHER WALMART AGAIN. DONT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE TO BE REPAIRED.

Apparently they have to ID the whole family to get a case of beer. I left my wallet in the truck bc I usually use wireless pay when I have sweat pants on. The wife was the one buying anyways for herself and he had to ID me and my 16 year old boy. One of the reasons why I don’t shop there. If we didn’t have a gift card I woulda just left the items there and just left. We went to Kroger afterwards and get the alcohol, brought my id just in case but they just asked for hers. Walmart is trash.

I would rate higher, but this was very uncalled for. Clarksburg Walmart does not honor their warranty/ contract, or Right the Wrong...Walmart installed 4 tires on my front wheel drive vehicle a while back. I got a blowout yesterday, and I had to get two new tires. From the gecko, the employee that I talked to was very rude and denied working on the vehicle because the size on the vehicle was 185/65/R15, which in their system shows they installed. The manufacturer sticker calls for 195/65/R15, which was a size bigger than what I had on. There is a lot more to the story, To save you time and stress, I ended up going to Sam's Club up the street. I recommend their Automotive department. I got the help I needed. Employees there were very nice and understanding from the beginning.

Same as before, folks just hanging out in the middle of the aisle ways chatting it up like there's no tomorrow, there is other people who wanna get in and get out so they can get home and either cook or go on about their business. No time for West Virginians being West Virginians, the stores back home in Florida aren't this way AT ALL.

Well to start was given a price and told the carried when we when back a few days later to get the tires was told that they can't get the tires. Size not available. And what upset us more man at deck doesn't even help place the order you have to go out to shop and wait for the service tech to stop working on a car to help you and that's not fair to the tech. It would make it so easy for them to forget to tighten the lugs on a car or anything else., So we bought tires else where.

I do most of my shopping in this store. It's usually clean. The food shelves however are not always stocked. Some of the brands I buy are missing and they fill in with other items. Their produce is not always fresh.

Edit I should know better but I shopped there two nights ago, thought I'd get in, find stuff I wanted for the next day using the app on my android phone, right? Not a single thing was where the app said it would be! Things were anywhere from 1 aisle to 200 feet away. If I didn't work there before I would have found about nothing... In the grocery part of the store it seems like the app is fine because they don't change things around but the rest of the store; forgetaboutit.I worked there a year, my lead was particularly horrible and finally they were able to get rid of him but I was already gone by that time. The place can be ridiculously dysfunctional. at times. Turnover in retail averages 75% annually, it could be worse than that in this store. There are a zillion trainees navigating the dysfunctionality and a few half-burned out lifers so it is what it is. If you have to shop there I recommend using the app to find stuff in the store and use the self-checkout. Even just using the self-checkout I got some krappy comment from a woman working in that part of the store after I made a mistake, she seemed to insinuate I was attempting theft so yeah, I've yet to see her smile just once so yeah, it's going to suck sometimes... If I place an order for pickup then by the time I get to the store I realize I need more stuff and wind up waiting in the lot for the pickup then walking into the store... I get food a lot cheaper and better across the road at Aldi [really pleasant] and other items from Amazon [hassle free]

I called there to see if the tires I needed. They had them in stock. When the tow truck dropped us off they were there waiting to get it in and got us back on the road quickly!!

You need to have someone on your phone for pick up and delivery more regularly. Sat in my car trying to call for almost 40 minutes and no one answered. I didn’t have to right account on the app because I was picking up for someone else, so I couldn’t check in on the app. I was finally able to stop one of the pickup workers and they checked me in. They were really nice about it, which is why this is not getting 1 star. Would be great to have talked to someone on the phone earlier though. What’s the point in having the phone number as an option if nobody will answer it?

This is a busy Walmart so shopping early is better than shopping. Later afternoon. You may find things out of stock, despite the overnight folks who try their best to keep things in stock. It has been a tough time since the pandemic, and I think we still haven't completely recovered, this is July of 2023. 2023. The store is clean, well kept, I like the layout.

The store is mostly organized, but items are often not well maintained. It is difficult to get in and out of the store regardless if you prefer self checkout or not. Prices may be better on certain items, but are not worth the 15+ minute wait to check out. You can tell certain departments are ran better than others and staff I generally nice. Certainly below average, but not a nightmare shopping experience.

Miss leading signage on endcaps. Please excuse the quality of the picture from my cheap phone. But wouldn't you assume the green boxes on the end cap are on sale for $17.99? Nope, $23.99. Supervisor was called by the attendant and he refused to honor price.
