I went into the store today and there was 3 females standing up by register when u walk thru the door. As i was getting buggy, the language that was pouring out of the mouths was pretty bad. As i was in there now about 15 minutes, my buggy had about 50 bucks worth of things in it. I heard a lady yelling hello. The employee says goodbye, and did not even walk up to the register where she was asking if anyone was here working. I came out from an isle and lady said do u see anyone working here been trying to check here for 10 minutes now. I pointed down to the isle they was at. She went down there and said im trying to check out and girl said i will be there in a minute. And as the shopper walked away u heard them laugh and said i will get there when i get there. At that time i decided to leave my buggy that was half full right there and leave. I have never been in a store where the employees acted so disrespectful to their customers and acted like they didnt care in the least bit. I will not step foot in DG ever again. I left and went to the family dollar where the employees where very nice. Not to mention that store was a mess and dirty as well.

The 2 employees were very nice & helpful. It was closing time down to the last minute & instead of locking me out or not allowing me to quickly grab the 1 item I needed. Though they said they weren't supposed to allow me to be in store after closing time they still didnt rush me & checking out I needed 2 run back to pick something else I needed they did say I needed to hurry but still let me run back to get it.

Clean store and very organized compared to some others. Staff was helpful and when I went to check out there was a loop ong line but it went super fast. Ample parking and convenient location right next to the VA Hospital and VA park. Great place to grab a drink and snacks before you go to the park.

I love all my dollar stores but reason I give a few only 3 to 4 starts is cause these few always have things still in boxes piled up around the store... And not very clean, but If they would put everything on the shelves that needs unpacked and actually cleaned up the store better they would be getting 5 stars from me

Most staff is kind and mannerly and don't mind helping customers. I can't say anything negative because this is better than the trashy place on Milford Street!! They have a trash can AND a cigarette recepticle. Awesome store!!

It has a lot of good deals. But it's so packed with merchandise, you can barely get a cart through the store. It would be great if you're only picking up a thing or two.

Walked out.... 7 people in line....new guy on the register obviously...another guy walking around outside smoking a cigarette. I shop in there all the time. Very disappointing. All and no one ever is wearing a mask in the store ever. Every management.!!!!!

Rude and invasive staff. Wrongfully accused me of shoplifting. I emptied my pockets and I had like 10 items I was carrying and planning on purchasing. I dropped them right there and promised I would not be back.Just because I'm wearing dirty work clothes they assume I'm either poor it a bad person. Unbelievable

Unfortunately for me this place seems cluttered and disorganized.When you enter the store it is very congested. There is so many things near the door that it seems almost claustrophobic.I have been here several times since it is close to my work for quick grab items. There is too many items merchandised as impulse buys on the register bay.Most of the time this place has a foul odor that you notice when you walk in.It seems that this store is never recovered properly and the clearance shelves are completely unorganized and appear to be a jumbled up hodge podge mess that no one would want to take time to dig through. It is more chaotic than shopping the $5 movie bin at Wal-Mart.I will say that the employees seem to be helpful when approached for help.There is not much parking for customers as there are a few buisnesses in this center.It's an ok place to run in and grab the oops I just realized I am out of toilet paper or laundry detergent but I wouldn't spend mich time here.

I choose 3 stars for this store cause they hardly had what I needed in stock at the time of my visit. And I don't recall the cashiers name, but he could have been a little more friendly than what get was..

My daughter was in this store yesterday with my grandson and friend, she was permitted to use the bathroom to change my grandsons diaper and forgot her money and gift cards in the bathroom when she left. She realized this when she got to the checkout to pay. Her friend went back to the bathroom to find the money gone. The employee refused to rewind the camera and said no customers could have went back there, leaving only the staff to be responsible for the missing money. Management sided with the employee and again refused to rewind the camera. As a manager myself, I don't believe we should hire or support staff that steals from its customers! I for one, will not go back and plan to go to corporate level to inform them of this unjust event.

went to get a couple things and came out with a car load. the newer staff is trying a little more than the older ones... problem though is still too much down time for employees! trust me if they have tims to stand outside and talk and smoke at the entrance door then by all means they could and should atleast put some stock on shelves!! most of the time what i need isnt out on shelf, but i guarantee itll be on there the next time im in bc i make sure its known, "hey do you all not have any of this or that in the back?" and i get the same response "im sorry the truck jus came in yesterday and we havent had time to get anything out yet..

The "scanner" wouldn't take any of my valid manufacturers coupons, the clerk would not put them in manually so the 6$ I was expecting to save didn't happen. The clerk said they needed a new register...so rather than waste another 10 minutes of my day having the items taken off, I paid full price.

The dollar General in East view is always clean & the staff is great, well organized, merchandise is always stocked, aisles are always clear, comfortable atmosphere, all around good experience

Very dirty store ....if i was manager there id make sure it was cleaned better ...stuff just sitting everywhere...and stood at the register about 5 minutes before the lady comes to check us out

It is convenient but unfortunately some of the items I needed were not there or not in stock
