I couldn’t be happier with the results for our golden retriever Remi, who did the board and train with Cayla. She treated her as one of her own, sent pictures and videos so that we felt a part of the process. I highly recommend this training program. Absolutely wonderful!! Cayla worked with our dog Shiva and after the two week board and train our dog came back happy and very well behaved. She also took about 2-3 hours when she brought her back to make sure that we understood every command. 100% recommend, the price is high but well worth every penny. We also got updates every day with videos/pictures and it was obvious Shiva loved Cayla as she was snuggling her and licking her face in pics and even in our presence.

Cayla at The Complete K9, WV is THE BEST! I felt comfortable, at ease, and reassured the whole time my shepherd-mix puppy, Herman, was with her. Herman is a sweet but wild little dude. He was known for growling, jumping, and lunging at other dogs especially while on a leash. He always greeted me and my friends by jumping and teething, despite my best efforts. Most days at home, it was Herman's way or the highway. He was super vocal and persistent. He is very loving, smart, and loves to play, but needed some redirection.Cayla has moved mountains with Herman. His ability to recall, focus on a task, and stay safe is amazing. I am no longer worried about him getting into altercations with other dogs. I feel so much more at ease with his ability to sit and place regardless of the distractions. I used to worry about him darting out the door or running after a car. He has improved tremendously!It is apparent that Cayla truly cares about Herman and his well-being. She was exceptional at communicating with me during his stay. She sent me photos, videos, and a chat every single day and sometimes multiple times a day! I could tell that Herman loved being with Cayla. I would absolutely send another fur baby to be trained by her! Thank you so much, Cayla!!

My wife and I put our German Shepherd puppy (Mia) through Puppy Training and Basic Obedience with Cayla Withrow. Prior to taking these courses, Mia was so crazy and wild that we almost gave up and re-homed her. Cayla was so patient with all of us.She even gave us her personal phone number to text outside of sessions for any issues or questions we may have. When we were frustrated and ready to give up, we would text her and she would reassure us that it was normal and to just give her some more time. We are so glad we did. Cayla did such a wonderful job with Mia on Puppy Training that we came back for the Basic Obedience classes. She even taught us some other basic things along the way about caring for a puppy since it was our first. This training was not only beneficial for our dog, but also for us! Thank you! Cayla

We can't say enough good things about our experience at The Complete K9 - West Virginia! We were looking for training program for our youngest pup (10 month Daniff) so he could be properly trained but also wanted to include our 3 and 4yo mastiffs for a refresher course, as well. We're a big, dynamic family (complete w/ a 2yo toddler) but Cayla and Emily enthusiastically worked with us to create the perfect training package for our family's needs. Through this intensive training, we have reinforced strengths and challenged each of them to grow and work hard, while keeping it fun and realistic. This has been a family training at its finest and we would absolutely invest in this program, again and again.

Prior to working with Complete K-9, I was extremely desperate for a solution for my reactive/leash aggressive dog. Anytime friends or family came over, she was overly protective of our house and barked excessively. I was unable to take her on walks because she was so aggressive on a leash towards other dogs. I didn’t have control over her enough to trust that I could take her off leash. She also started to become aggressive with my toddler once he started to walk.I almost gave up hope and rehomed her because I didn’t think it was possible to allow her and my son (1 yr old) to live safely together, until a friend recommended Complete K-9. The long drive from our home (3 hours) and price of the class made me a little hesitant, but I cannot express how happy I am that we did this! Looking back, I would have paid 5x what we paid, given the amazing results we have seen in just 7 sessions (still 2 to go!).Now I can take my dog to busy parks and she’s usually the most well behaved dog there. We can go on picnics at playgrounds and she doesn’t mind watching kids run around, yelling loudly. She and my son have learned to respect each other’s boundaries. I have her full attention and control 100% of the time. Today we finished our 7th session and I had tears in my eyes because I was so proud of the progress she has made. She is the best dog in the world and I’m so happy we didn’t give up on her!I truly can’t recommend this more. Complete K-9 has brought so much peace into my home and life!Thank you Cayla for being such a wonderful person to work with and for giving Bivvy and me the confidence we need to have a safe and peaceful home. If anyone is hesitant to take the leap and invest in this training program, take this as your sign. Pictured are my two huskies watching deer from a distance. Before training, I 1) wouldn’t have been able to have them off the leash period and 2) if we would have had an encounter like this on the leash, they would have taken me flying to get to those deer. We finished our classes back in May and I’m still to this day in September just amazed with how far they’ve come. Our trainer Emily was great and made the process a lot of fun! Thank you to the TCK9 for making our lives a whole lot more fun with our boys!

I enrolled my 10 month old Labrador Retriever to the two week board and train with The Complete K9. I was frustrated with unruly puppy behaviors and Cayla payed close attention to our needs with our dog. When we got her back we were amazed. The system is easy for owners to continue, and with about two months since we got her back, the training still doesn’t miss a beat. I highly recommend this for dog owners who are frustrated with unruly behavior, or who simply want their dog to respond in a highly trained way. Our Olive was “that dog” before with jumping, no leash manners, and hyper activity, to now being “that dog” who can heel (even off leash), place, and off like a pro. The communication with Cayla during the 2 weeks of training was extensive. We got messages, videos, and pictures daily. 10/10 I highly recommend!!!

I have a new dog after the wonderful training by Emily Fritz of the Complete K9. Before she was impossible to be around, she would bolt out the door, jump on the grandkids, steal food off the counter and dig up the back yard. No more! She has all her commands down pat. She walks on a leash like a dream and will stay in her place until I tell her to break! She is a new dog and we love to spend time with her.

I reached out to The Complete K9 when I was ready to give up. Cayla worked with our 2.5 year old cocker spaniel named Shadow, in the 2 weeks board and train, and he came back a brand new doggie! He listens!Before he went, he was out of control. Would not listen to anything, even showed aggression towards our new doggie, and we had to keep them separated. Now they play together and he shows no aggression at all towards her. I can walk him without a leash. He stays in the front yard while his whole family is outside with him and we don't have to worry about him running after another dog or person. He was scared of everything, has severe anxiety, and Cayla helped him become braver and he can handle it better!And the 2 week board and train is lifetime guaranteed so if I ever have any questions or concerns, I can just call and get any help I'd need!Thank you Cayla for all you did for us!

I can honestly say this training has made a huge difference with my dog Max. Starting with the very first lesson, on day one, there was a noticeable improvement in his behavior.Cayla worked with him and helped me learn how to properly correct his bad behavior while teaching him those extremely necessary Basic Obedience commands.I would definitely 100% recommend taking your dog to Complete K9. It's not only beneficial to the dog, but also to you as an owner. If you take the course and do your homework... You will see the difference in your dog. Totally worth it!!!

Cayla Withrow has been so amazing with our Avy! I can’t believe we are almost done with our puppy classes. He has been doing so well and I have learned a lot when it comes to training. We can’t wait to start our next round of training classes in a few weeks, after our puppy class graduation next week. 🐾 🐾Cayla is the best. We look forward to our lesson every week with her. We can’t say enough wonderful things about The Complete K9, West Virginia! Our 5 month old Charlie had no recall and although we live on a farm that was so dangerous with livestock and wildlife. We also travel often so we needed peace of mind that he would not run away from us if he somehow got off leash. Charlie showed improvement and began listening to our commands after the very first lesson. We will continue to take Charlie to Cayla for all of the advanced classes as well.

From day one when speaking with Justin on the phone regarding programs, booking a date, to Cayla picking her up, along with the entire two weeks she was in their care to the reunion with our girl was the most incredible experience for our 5 mo. old Molly (GSP) and us.Justin was very friendly and answered every question, probably twice actually..Lol. I was a nervous mom, never leaving my girl with even a family member but his reassurance in explaining the program help me get closer to overcoming the fear and letting her go. He was and is very kind and professional.When Cayla walked in our front door, Molly loved her at first sight. Cayla showed excitement and genuine love for animals. She was pointing out how beautiful and wild our girl was, she could see why we needed their help. She explained exactly how the e collar worked. She gave us a mental image of their home and land where she would be living. She kept us updated everyday on their training activities. Molly had never been around other dogs, by day two she had lots of friends. Their techniques in training, love and care shows through every photo and video she sends to you each day. We are amazed how Molly walks with us instead of pulling us down the yard. Recall - let’s just say I am no longer having heartaches afraid she won’t come back, the freedom feels amazing. All of Molly’s commands are on point and she truly loves Cayla for it.Wish I could tell everyone how they do this, but I can’t. All I can say, they are truly amazing at what they do and will show you how to continue and maintain the results. They have given us peace of mind and our Molly the opportunity to live her best life. We have 100% satisfaction with The Complete K9, WV. Our trainer is Emily, and she is simply amazing. The amount of knowledge and energy that Emily brings to her training sessions is impressive. Our dog, Dudley loves Emily as well and is always excited to see her. The rest of TCK-9WV staff is always quick to answer our questions and help us out with the logistics of the training process. We have used their basic obedience training as well as their board and train program. The training is an investment that has greatly improved life for us and for Dudley.

I’m three weeks into the eight week advanced obedience course with my rescue dog, Billie. I’m amazed at the progress we’ve been able to make in only three weeks! Our trainer, Emily is fantastic and has fully embraced the positive reinforcement style I’ve chosen to use for my dog. She offers great tips during our session to take home to apply to our real life situations. Our lesson this week was heel walking, something I’d been attempting to teach on my own. Billie has made more progress in three days with Emily’s guidance than the entire three months I’ve been attempting to teach her since her adoption. Can’t wait to see more progress as we learn more in the following weeks!

Cayla and Emily at The Complete K-9 in Charleston WV are so gifted! I took my Goldendoodle, Perkins, to them for training. We are only 2 lessons in and the difference in my dog is amazing! He absolutely loves going to see them and so do I! I highly recommend this company and these trainers! They will train you and your dog to ensure the best human/dog relationship possible!

Please excuse my user name as my son made it for me but I wanted to leave a review about The Complete K9. I have a Great Dane, Moose, who needed extra help with training. Due to my dog’s size I needed her well behave anytime we leave the house. I could not risk her not listening in public because unlike my other dogs I can not just pick her up and leave the situation. Emily with the The Complete K9 was my dog’s trainer. She took Moose for the 2 week board and train program. Moose came back after the 2 weeks so well behaved! I can now walk her without her pulling. She responds to commands. Earlier this week I had Moose at her yearly vet checkup and the vet was very pleased with her good behavior. She made the comment that she wished all dogs were as well behaved as Moose was.One other thing I want to mention is my husband and I had a fear that Moose’s 2 week board and train would change her personality. It did not! She’s still the same goofy fun loving Great Dane but now with better manners.Emily was wonderful with Moose! She sent us daily updates and pics while she had her. I spent a year trying to train Moose but Emily did it in 2 weeks!

Where do I start...Cayla is amazing! She is so good with my Henry (mini dachshund). We are in the puppy classes and we are 3 classes in and he is learning and she is an amazing teacher. I picked The Complete K9 over anybody else because one they partner with the AKC star program, they are priced VERY reasonably and the reviews had nothing but the best things to say. After we graduate the puppy classes we are going to keep going up through all the other classes so Henry can be the best he can be🙂 Cayla is the best!

We have taken my 3 y/o pitbull to one class so far and I am already so impressed. We signed up for the anxiety/aggression package. Emily has an amazing personality and does very well at not only teaching your dog, but teaching you. She made sure we knew everything we needed to practice with him at home for the week. Aiden has already taken well to the “come” and “sit” command even when outside!!! I can’t wait for future sessions to see how this changes my doggies life!

My beagle mix was actually Cayla’s very first board and train. Callie was horrible with running away, had no recall, jumped on guests, and was just extremely hyper. She would also pull on leash when we would go for walks. After two weeks with Cayla, Callie came home a completely new dog. She worked with me to teach me how to use Callie’s collar and keep up with all that she had learned. This was two years ago and Callie is still doing great! We just took our 11 month old German Shepard (Sadie) to complete K-9 for the 4 week program. Cayla was full of energy and eager to help Sadie learn the basics. She explained everything down to a T! Cayla is phenomenal! We took our 3 month old blue heeler to her puppy classes — she learned so much and we learned so much also. I was amazed at how Cayla analyzed our dog Tigger’s behavior just by observing him at our first lesson! The e-collar is so helpful and he is already making progress at home. He is so reactive to strangers yet she was able to walk on a leash and work with him easily!
