Just had the worst experience here! Went in to look for some tools while my wife was shopping at Gabe’s got followed around the entire time and stared at, which made me feel super uncomfortable to even look at the stuff I was trying to closely, I am not a thief! I work 60+ hours a week as a mechanic, and was simply trying to kill time and look for some tools that could help me at work. I did end up finding a decent deal on a pair of vise grips at the end of my searching but I will not be returning here again after this, and will tell everyone I know not to come here or face the same adverse profiling. I understand you want to have theft prevention but when your making your actual customers not want to shop because your profiling someone for wearing their comfy clothes after they just got off work that’s pretty ridiculous smfh

2 days this week I have been here, as a woman who isn't totally familiar with the store or tools in general, but my husband asked me to check on a few things, so I tried. My first trip into the store I was looking for an item went up and down the aisles multiple times and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. No one offered to help me, no one would answer my questions, until finally a customer and his son helped me find what I was looking for. Today I went back and the only help I was offered was a large security guard who got intimidatingly close to me and growled "did I need help with something" in a tone that didn't sound friendly or helpful in the least, then just stood and stared at me like I was a criminal or he was a stalker. It was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I realize that theft is a major problem that needs addressed but there are ways to monitor things without making customers feel as if they aren't even welcome somewhere or are doing something wrong by comparing items/prices and quality of the products they want to buy. Both times I left empty handed and shaking my head at the lack of service I was given.

The store is different now. They were selling a few clothes. Everyone was polite. The young man who helped us get a bathroom vanity into the back of our suv gave it a hev ho with his shoulder. And the best part...he said, have a blessed day.

Recently purchased 2 bifold bedroom closet doors. After framing it I set 1 in place only to have 1 of the bottom pivot adjuster was stripped. Went to Lowes and they let me have 1 adjuster repair kit.

Employees did what they could but this company is garbage. Don’t waste your time buying appliances from here and don’t bother calling customer service because they will not resolve your issue and will give you fake phone numbers for corporate. Terrible company.

The customer service that I got here was WONDERFUL!!! They are beyond awesome!! My fridge died and I had to come in after work a few days later to look for a refrigerator. I live about an hour away. When I got there it was almost closing, they were very helpful and looked to see if they had several different options in stock. They were out of the one that I wanted and called another store to see if they had it, sadly not. I ended up getting a bette one than I was looking at. They were soo nice throughout and took care that I was rung up properly and had everything that I needed! THANK YOU!!!!

Larry in the plumbing department is the best lowes employee I've ever met. He actually knows what he is talking about and is very helpful! He helped me get everything I needed for my project and was happy to answer all of my questions. He deserves a raise for his work ethic and professionalism! Thank you Larry!

The customer service is terrible Always difficult to find someone to help you. If you get lucky and find someone, they hardly know anything about that department. Their return policy is unacceptable. Make sure u ALWAYS keep the receipt. They refuse to even swap or give store credit. I won't be doing business anymore.

Ordered a fence and delivered it damaged twice! Second day contractors left at noon. They didn't say a word...just left. They left their tools and a big mess laying everywhere. It's now been almost 2 months later and I still have a garage-full of cement/broken fencing and only barely an 1/8 of my fence installed 🤬

Stopped by on my way home from out of town to pick up one bag of potting soil. As I entered the store I was met at the entrance by a female employee who looked at my wife and I smugly and stated “we will be closing in two minutes.” She continued standing in our way blocking the entrance. We stated we only needed on bag of potting soil, however she continued to insist that our presence past 8pm was not acceptable. Thank god the local Kroger carry’s gardening supplies. I understand you have hours of operation for a reason, however I also understand that it takes a hour to close the store, would be 9pm, so it’s not like we were asking anyone to stay over to earn our business. Beyond that we left drove to Kroger made our purchase and we’re back on the road by 8:07 pm. Had this rude employee not stopped us, we could have made our purchase and been on our way before the posted closing time. Is this standard store policy to turn business away??? I’m also thankful there are other lowes locations close to our house, so hopefully this is just a one off situation with one single employee and not a company policy. Either way, I doubt we will visit the Kanawha city location.

Got a few items for our new apartment. They had a great deal on washers and dryers. The staff was super friendly and was able to get our appliances delivered and I stalled quickly. I also purchased a dehumidifier and it's fantastic.

Went for an airplant as a Christmas present and they had a great selection of houseplants, beautiful raven zzs! However they had quite a few plants on clearance but as so often they do, they fail to knock them down enough. I was hoping to have 2 new additions but couldn't justify the price vs the quality

I’ve been waiting on an oven to be delivered for a month. The delivery driver keeps lying and saying he’s coming to my house, and I’m not home. He also damaged it, so when someone else finally came, they had to reorder it. Do not order anything for delivery from this lowes, you will not get it anytime soon. Go to Home Depot, or somewhere with decent people working for them.

I have not been to this particular Lowe's in some time. I was pleasantly surprised by staff helpful for my search. I also watched the person manning the Pro desk assisting an elderly veteran with his shopping, as he was having difficulty getting around in the scooter. The employee took the time to find what the person wanted, brought it to him and explained to him how it works. I was impressed.

Was shopping for dryer vent and pigtail. I was disappointed of the lack of selection. They only had one pigtail for each the 3 prong and 4 prong pigtail. And was out of stock of the dryer vent I wanted and no clamps available. Staff was helpful and friendly.
