Ok, so this place tastes pretty good… BUT… it could be GREAT! For as much wordage is on the website boasting how fresh everything is and making it sound like a 5 star chef restaurant, I guess the food needs to really reflect that more. Let me explain…The spinach on the spinach, feta, balsamic pizza is 100% canned. I’ve cooked fresh spinach on my pizza a zillion times in all diff temps and no matter what you do, it’s NEVER as soggy and saucy as this spinach was. It’s 100% from a can. So definitely upping the ante on using FRESH spinach would add such a depth of flavor and make the overall experience better.The other ingredients on that same pizza were so heavily soggy… like the red peppers… and again FRESH ingredients DON’T do that.The upside is that their crust is very, VERY nice and holds up pretty well to the drenched ingredients. So kudos for that! Also it’s cooked to perfection 👏🏻Another thing is we were at a table that could see into the kitchen a little through a crack in a door, and we could both see and hear the microwave being used pretty frequently. Another big no-no for a 5 star restaurant. They don’t advertise to be an upscale restaurant per se, but their website sure does make it seem that way.Also, the flourless chocolate cake was cold and dense and definitely felt more like a slice of thick fudge than a “cake.” So it was hard to eat an entire piece. Maybe some whipped cream and a few fresh raspberries would put it over the edge? (Just looking back at the pic of it, it doesn’t look super appetizing as-is). BUT, that being said, the flavor of it was ok and the raspberry sauce was yummy!BUT… I LOVE the look and feel of the little house-like structure it’s in. I didn’t personally prefer the artwork or music choices, but it wasn’t so distracting that I didn’t enjoy the experience.The waitstaff was nice and our waitress was great and personable! Natacha is her name from our receipt. But having some of the waitstaff go in and out of the door to smoke (or whatever they did, maybe vape?) was a little obnoxious. Because everytime they walked past our table after coming in it smelled soooo strong. Hard to enjoy our food with it.And I loved the glass water left at the table… but I agree with another reviewer that the cheap melamine plates (including what the small pizzas were served on) doesn’t match the classy upscale vibe of the things like glass water and wine etc.Overall, I’m sure we would go back again. Just would love to see overall FRESH ingredients being used more to really up the quality and taste of the already awesome ideas of food they have!Vegetarian options: They have a pretty good selection of meatless options. More so than many other restaurants. LOVE the variations of pizza combinations!

Delightfully small local pizza place. We got a sweet potato salad which delicious. Got the balsamic dressing over the cilantro one.Also ordered a small spicy shrimp and sausage pizza. We added mushrooms, red peppers and olives. Delicious.Parking is tricky because of a small number of spots at the building and across the street. We drove back to the Walgreens and walked from there.

Lola's is a nice, relaxed pizza place on Bridge Road. Today we got a half-and-half large pizza, one half was the Spicy Shrimp and Sausage, and the other was the Bacon and White Cheddar. Both were very good, the shrimp and sausage was delicious, and the Goat cheese was a good contrast to the spice. The Bacon was perfectly crispy.The only issue you may have is the parking. Parking at Lola's itself is limited but there is plenty of parking within a short walking distance from the restaurant, so it's not a deal breaker at all. Lola's has been here for a while but if you haven't tried them yet, you definitely should. The flavors are good, ingredients are fresh and well made, and you shouldn't be disappointed.Parking: Parking is limited, but there is extra parking all along Bridge Road where you can park and walk to the restaurant

Great food, but almost seems like they are trying too hard in certain ways. Glass drink ware on the table mixed with cheap, although colorful, plates. It was also expensive for being a pizza joint. The sweet potato salad was small for being a $9 salad & their large pizza was $20. The crust tasted really good, the toppings were good, but $20 usually buys me more pizza than what we were served. If you are in the Charleston area and looking for a pizza joint that will satisfy both children & adult preferences, I might keep looking. But if you want something that tastes really good & you want to savor it along with some beer or wine then this will be a good spot for you.

Not keen on reviews but this one seemed necessary. For years Lola’s has been a go-to place for our family. I suppose all good things come to an end. Management is consistently rude. I sat and watched all of the customers who were otherwise offended by the snarky attitude the bartender/manager directed towards them. That’s just the beginning; food was pricey, to be expected, but pizza was bland. Nothing to write home about. We won’t be coming back but this time because of the service.

The shrimp & sausage pizza was absolutely amazing! Wish I would have gotten the large I could have eaten the whole thing! The steak pizza was also great! I love the flavor of the crust, almost like a light & airy sourdough.

Made a stop here for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised! I had the sausage and onion with roasted red pepper, my oldest tried the hawaiian, and my husband and youngest child built their own. We ate every bite! Best pizza I've ever had!

Very Nice ambiance and food. The bar is lively and food is really good. One of the best restaurant to go for dinner over weekend. I loved the bread came with tomato soup. The veg platter and chicken wings were really tasty. Nice staff and great service. Little expensive but worth going..

This pizza place is amazing. The crust is chewy and crisp! There are fun types of pizzas that really highlight the creativity of this pizza place. I even enjoy the salads they offer along with the pizzas. You should come here and eat. The staff is friendly and responsive and while the building itself is a little cramped, I have never had an issue with getting seated or having a place to sit even with my large family. This is a must try pizza place in Charleston. Try something different from the standard fast food pizza places. The prices here are reasonable and fair.Vegetarian options: Lots of salads and meatless pizzas available.Kid-friendliness: My kids really enjoy this place, they love the fun options of pizza that is offered and even my son who is picky can find something he likes.

Upon arrival, we were told we may have to wait 'just a few minutes' for our party of 6 if we didn't want to sit outside. After waiting 30 minutes and watching multiple new guests walking right by being seated, we were told they were still waiting for a table to clear. After an hour & still more guests coming, being seated, I asked & was still told the very same- they were waiting for tables to clear. Needless to say, we left after over an hour and a half wait. Obviously, they didn't care about our service & were continuing to receive new guests. We will never be back. Not to mention, the very minimal parking area is horrible.

I've been dreaming of being here on the patio enjoying either a drink or a meal. It far exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to be back, and enjoy an evening beer on the patio. Food was excellent, and very fairly priced. Worth 6 Stars.

The staff at Lola’s was excellent and accommodating of our vegan diet. There are no vegan menu options, but we made a custom flatbread without cheese. The salad was a bit pricey for what we got (I’d recommend adding some more sweet potato or roasted veggies).Adding dairy free cheese to the menu would make it much more inclusive! However, the outdoor seating area was lovely and clean. A great spot for friends, a date, or family gathering.

Had a great to-go order here, can't wait to go back netx year and done in. We ordered a sweet potato salad and goat cheese Salad, both very good. Also a bacon and white cheddar pizza which was perfect.Had no idea it was so cool inside until we got there to pick up and take back to hotel. Will definitely dine in next time.

It's OK. The food is good. But, I wish they were more generous with the toppings to make the price seem more palatable.The place is small, but very clean and pretty. My wife thought their gluten-free crust was the best she's had in this area. I tasted it and I could not tell the difference between that and regular crust.They want you to drink alcohol, so the water glasses are tiny (see picture). They put their water to serve on these bottles that are too small. What's wrong with bigger pitchers with ice? Not everyone drinks alcohol or sodas.

Incredible food and very reasonable rates! The roasted sweet potato salad is such a winner! All the pizzas are excellent and delicious. Cozy atmosphere with great staff too! Although the menu is limited in items, I've never once been disappointed with the food (and I'm a very picky eater, haha!).If they would consider adding a home delivery service, that would be perfect!!
