Produce is horrible, check the dates on everything you buy, its amazing how many products are out of date and still on the shelves. However they do have some friendly emoyees

"THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALLWAYS RIGHT," says the manager. I asked multiple times for this not to happen and this, Woman who claimed they couldn't do anything about my smashed lattice cherry pie, claimed I threatened her when all i did was call her low key stupid, Do not order pre-made pies from pickup. Or anything you would expect to be upright and pretty. Quality is not in this stores motion. And the attitude of this place is being held up bye the nice gentleman up front. And to be still mean mugged to this day after this being a year now, I avoid her at all costs.

Has to be the absolute worst customer service. I had a clicklist order for 4 hours ago and when my wife went to pick it up they said oh I'm sorry we haven't pick it yet. Now after calling for 45 minutes with no answer i called customer service the person told me the managers are working it because they are backed up. And then hung up on me. So not only am I missing my order I have wasted my time and gas to travel to the store its ridiculous that a manager can't even be bothered with talking to a customer they can not get an order for worst experience with any kroger in this area. At least dunbar can fill an order.

This Krogers produce will not get another penny out of me until they clean up! This is ridiculous these things are supposed to be cleaned once a month and this thing looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a year! This is fungus blowing down onto the produce you feed yourself and your kids with. This store was a lot cleaner and more supervised when that manager Dorsey was around!

I've shopped Cross Lanes Kroger for 2 decades. Lately, there's one cashier & lines backed up to the Deli. The inventory is low & the shelves are empty. It's very frustrating. I'm always bringing in my own cart. Please do better than this.

Worst Kroger I’ve been to. Always low on inventory, Deli goes to lunch during busy hours, 1 register open always even when line is backed up to the deli area. I have never had a good experience at this location.

This Kroger has really gone downhill. They are always low on inventory. Even though this store is very close to my house, I go elsewhere. They only have one cash register open while the line for just four self serve check outs is super long. And BEWARE! Do NOT buy gift cards from there. They frequently do not work. Not worth the extra fuel points.

They Work For Us, We Don't Work For Them.Their Job Is To Please The Customer, Not Bad Mouth Them, If They Want Them To Return. The Customer Is ALWAYS RIGHT.They refuse to reorder and stock, Powdered, Pacific Spice Chai Latte Tea. The liquid junk in the box is nasty, still sitting on the shelf unsold, so is the powdered Vanilla, which is still on the shelf unsold. I'm sure they have it in the stockroom, they're probably lying and saying they're out. That Stock Person Is Quite Mean And Rude.The tag says sorry, we're temporarily, out of this product.Temporarily is a very short period of time, Not Three Months Or More. If I Could Order It On-Line, I would, But I Don't Have A Credit Card.I Would Certainly Appreciate It, if you would send some to the Cross Lanes, Kroger's Store.Not just six cans or so, send one hundred or more, that would be great. Our family of Eight Adults Would Love It, If You Stocked More.So please, send some Powdered, Pacific Spice Chai Latte Tea to the Kroger's Store in Cross Lanes, West Virginia.

Most of the time everything is great, but don't expect to get any service from the deli in the morning. Walked right past me and when I tried to ask something the worker turnes her head away and quickly walked into the back. Then stayed there, where I could see her, ignoring me? Frankly it was so rude it was weird and almost funny. If they aren't ready to help people in the morning they need to put up a sign that they're closed till X time.

Cross Lanes Kroger is my favorite Kroger. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. The produce and meat are always fresh. The store is always clean and well organized. The only time I do not enjoy shopping there is when they have their store audit. The non regular managers come in a micro manage the staff and do nothing but get in the customers way. The normal management is wonderful.

The pharmacy is aweful. The pharmacist suggested to me yesterday that I might have "stash" of a controlled substance hidden somewhere. Why he said that Idk. But I am seriously thinking of changing my pharmacy. They still didn't fill my meds. The delivery app isn't great either. They send the drivers to a completely different place and oftentimes we wouldn't get our groceries.

It used to be great until I have to start bagging my own groceries. Customers, including me, don't get any self serve discounts for bagging our own. It makes no sense whatsoever. I quit. I'm throwing in my apron even though I am or have never worked there.By the way, as I checked out and bagged my own groceries, since there was no line open, I heard one clerk ask another if he needed a break, the time I was at this store was only an hour after it opened.

The typical experience at Krogers is very easy to operate and navigate the store find what you're looking for quick check out sometimes you have to use self-checkout but typically there are registers open if you do not want to use self-checkout he just have to be willing to wait most Kroger's offer the same product some other Kroger's offer products different than one store to another but overall Kroger's is a very easy in and out store

I value Kroger, its coupons, and products, but man, this particular store is terrible. First, I feel like Kroger itself is overlooking my whole community. They've had blueprints in the store for a remodel, but tossed them in the trash. While folks in Cross Lanes, WV have had the same store and layout for years and years, we have watched Kroger remodel every store around us. This is probably one of the reasons (maybe the main one) why there always seems to be an atmosphere thick with apathy in the store. One perfect example is the men's public restroom. It is so bad, that I hate finding myself needing to use it while I'm in the store. It's so disgusting. I've contacted Amy, the store manager well over a year ago, but nothing was done about it. Finally, I heard they hired a company to steam clean it after getting threatened by someone that they were going to call the health department on them. That was about a year ago. It was decent for a week or two, but doesn't seem like it's been cleaned since. Amy talked about how one of the most important things Kroger needs to maintain is a store full of stocked shelves. Yet, one can walk through and not only find empty shelves, but product that is long out of date.I wish the management and more of the employees, as well as the corporate office, cared more about this store and those of us that still shop there, but I won't hold my breath.

I loved the $1.00 frozen meals and all the other $1.00 or less deals. I get alot more for my money and we have more food in house. Thank you. You just need to stock more of it because some things I didn't get much of.

This Kroger has really gone down hill. It’s really a shame because it used to be a great grocery store being the only alternative to Wal-mart in the area. The selection is limited and quality of produce is revolting. There’s truly no food justice in Appalachia even close to the cities.

Not Kroger's BestThe pharmacy and floral department are the only reasons to go there. I always get great service in those departments. The rest of the store leaves much to be desired. No fresh meat counter, no fresh seafood, and a generally poor selection of other items, particularly higher-end products. Far below other Kroger stores in the area. Makes me miss Big Bear.

The store isn't the nicest; it could use some updating, especially compared to the Kroger in Corridor G. The produce also isn't the best in the area; the same for the meat selection. You're better off going to the Kroger in South Charleston or Corridor G. Also, the deli workers weren't the most helpful. There were three people working back there and not a single one of them offered to help my mom. She even asked them if the deli was closed. They told her the deli was still open but still did not help her. It's just better to drive 20+ minutes away to a different Kroger because this one isn't the best.
