Customer “service” desk is slow and disorganized. Food is sold in a spoiled condition. We waited in line close to 15 minutes to get a refund for a spoiled bottle of juice that could have given us food poisoning. Finally gave up after an employee who had been looking at his phone allowed a woman to jump the line. This desk apparently requires more supervision and replacement staff.

It's easy to find what you want. Produce, I got grapes, apples, English cucs. , yellow peppers, ect. Roast beef slices & chicken strips,. I found pimento cheese. Use your Kroger card. Parking is good. Right off the main road. Other places to shop in just a few steps.

Love this store and the employees! They all are so friendly and caring. They have great deals and have a great clearance section. Deff one of my fav places to shop. They have grad balloons and flower bouquets incase u need to get a last minute gift for ur 2022 grad. Lots of gift cards and if u have their app jus clip the earn 4x coupon to quadruple ur points on a gift card purchase to save on gas as well!

A giant piece of wood fell on me!! All of the shoppers around me showed more concern than the assistant manager. The assistant manager didn’t even apologize. I said “there is absolutely no reason this chunk of wood should just be standing up in the middle of the store with nothing on it. it needs to go in the back” and he just responded with “yeah, it does”. I didn’t even get an apology!! I thought it just lightly scratched me but i got home and saw blood attached to my leggings and my leg was actually cut open. Worse kroger ever. Definitely going to the others for now on

Today i went to Krogers in South Charleston usually go to Dunbar because the employees are much friendlier and helpful there.However I wasn’t able to,so i had to go to this location.I was surprised 😮 the Sunday crew were very kind and answered my questions nicely especially in produce.I do love Krogers products and especially the sales they have.Its just you never know how you are going to be treated in the pharmacy or main store.

they do not close at 10. they close at least 15 mins before 10 if not sooner. worker coming out for carts won’t even let you know the store is closed.

Came here to cash a check and the cashier refused to do so. Perfectly legitimate payroll check, I guess I just look like a scammer to these people who knows. Won't be needing my kroger account anymore, walmart has better deals anyway see ya!

Cleaner and brighter than most Kroger stores. Even though one can tell this is an older store from the outside, it is clear that much work has been put into freshening up inside. Plenty of self-checkouts for a quick in and out. A little disappointed in their bakery selections, but all in all a good store.

Horrible! The older lady with the short blonde hair in flower department! Just asked her how much a plant was.?... she said haven't gotten to it yet and was scanning other items and just ignored me! Won't go back!

Every associate works diligently to make the shopping experience as pleasant as possible. They are constantly cleaning and refilling produce displays, respond to every customer question quickly, politely and most often even walked me to the area I was looking for. Cashiers kept lines moving efficiently and every one extremely polite and friendly.

Click list is terrible at this location. I usually go to Dunbar Kroger, but had a friend pick it up for me. I didn't get all of my items I paid for and they really don't substitute anything...No substitute for a tomato or coffee.... the young boy was supposed to call me back about about two items. Never returned my phone call. Definitely will keep going to Dunbar. Everyone is so nice and helpful.

Clerks and staff are nice, quick, and even when crowded, the check out process is smooth. Items are easy to find. Has about anything for any taste, from organic, seafood, to open and bake. Excellent selection pharmacy and gas station for rewards points all in one place.

Not my favorite grocery, but the closest. Fairly well stocked on most things, but limited if you like to cook global cuisines. All in all helpful, friendly staff. But do NOT use self checkout. Touch screens don't work and some of the staff can be incredibly condescending. I know eye rolling is a teenage characteristic, but seriously.

This is specific to the bakery. I ordered a half sheet cake for an event three weeks in advance. Called 2 days prior to the event and confirmed. Arrived on event day and they had my order but hadn't made it. The manger had someone whip it up for us but we had to wait which made us late to the event. They did give it to us for free.

Normally a great store but today they were completely out of so many things it was a waste of trip. They aren’t open 24 hrs anymore so I can’t understand all the stocking during the day. They had so many people stocking things it was craziness. Hopefully they can get their shelves stocked again soon but doing it during the day just causes the isles to be extra crowded.

I used to love the Kroger rotisserie chicken because it was actually a quick and easy dinner for the family. Recently I went to get one and I got home and noticed when I cut into it that it was very pink. The further I cut into it the worse it got because I soon hit blood. I called to be put on hold for way to long, so I hung up and called back. I asked to speak directly to a manager. The man told me that they had gotten new ovens to make them moist and not dry. I explained to him dry was the last thing this chicken was, it was strait undercooked and bloody. He told me I could bring it back and get another one but by that point I didn’t even want to eat at all. I told him no thanks but I want him to be aware there not cooked fully through. Will not buy another rotisserie chicken from Kroger’s that’s for sure!

I drive even further to go to this location because I don't have to worry about getting bum from while entering the store or I don't have to worry about somebody breaking into my car or something crazy happening like on Delaware Avenue. However the staff is extremely unfriendly the people that are in the front checking you out act like it's killing them to do their job they are rude. I guess I'm going to try out the one at Ashton place and if that doesn't work I'm just going to stop shopping there altogether and go to Walmart

Well this was my worst visit to this kroger so far.Trash in the aisles, out of stocks on so many common items it was difficult. Most outs we're on sale items... Produce was disappointing, it was hard finding a good tomato.It was right after 10pm so my medium sized grocery order with weighable items wouldn't fit on the self check spinners so the register gave the infuriating please replace bag message. Over...and over.. checkout was a serious pain. And the one guy saying they have him working 6 days a week was only helpful when I was in a hurry to leave.Not a normal visit.

I love this Kroger however the younger manager needs to not do drugs while hes at work. Ive seen him running around like crazy then not even able to hold his eyes open nodding out. Please get better management. The drug epidemic is horrible in the area but management shouldnt be high at work.

Pretty well stocked but only two checkout lanes open. Very slow. No baggers. Took FOREVER. It has a convenient fuel station not far from I-64.
