This place is disgusting. The last time I was there I picked up a half eaten McDonald's burger out of the jewelry bin. It had been there a long time. It's a complete disaster. Stuff thrown everywhere. Floors caked in dirt. They don't have near the stuff as the one in Huntington. It's really bad.

They have come a long way since they first open. The clothes are more organized but you still have to spend a while searching for your size. They are not true to size. It's good they have fitting rooms. Quick to get checked out.

Gabe's is an interesting place. You never know what you'll find until you go there. I got shoes for half price of what they were next door.

Lol. Might have something you want but not worth waiting in a line of 20 people and 2 clerks. This appears to be the normal. Long lines and no clerks to check you out. Been there a few times and line is to long and 2 pm in the afternoon. Not normal rush time

Went here to get some swimware for my girlfriends daughter and also my friends kid. They have a huge selection of brands. Like ecko leg etc prices are unbeatable close to TJmaxx prices.

The largest and widest selection of any Gabe's I've been to! Great for some Christmas presents that you didn't even know existed! Maybe a little disorganized but I've never been go a Gabe's that was, it's part of the charm

Redo the carpet in the front of the store. So much retail and I have been there once before. My sis was looking for scrubs for cheap. No problem. I was hypnotize by the shoes. Please CLEAN the restrooms. Nasty.

Good shopping,get good brand name stuff in, but the store is unorganized and dirty. Workers are overworked and dont look like they ever want to be there, managers seem kind of lazy and dont want to help and there's so much in that store you can barely get around. No where to put anything that comes in the back for all the boxes (huge fire hazard), people going in the back that isn't supposed to(unsafe to workers there), they chain the door when someone tries to keep stealing stuff. Seems like you could really use some kind of security instead of chaining doors that are suppose to be emergency exits?

This is the worst Gabe's location I've been in. It's always a mess. Pallets, racks, and shopping carts full of unshelved merchandise block the aisles all the time. The floors are covered in hangers, loose clothing, and trash. The incessant chirping of those defective security tags often drives me out of the clothing departments before I've even begun to shop. The check out line almost always reaches beyond the beginning of the weird, single-file maze you have to walk through to reach one of the usually only 2 or 3 cashiers. The employees show no urgency at all and move at a snail's pace regardless of the length of the line. I avoid this store unless I really need something immediately. Otherwise, I make the drive to the Huntington store.

I love Gabe's! I go to Gabe's every time I'm in town, because there isn't one nearby where I reside! I always spend way more than I intend to, because you just can't pass up on the deals!

Only a manager can take money for a layaway and only a manager can get your. I was at Gabe's for 45 minutes waiting for the manager to find and she couldn't it. I got a call the next day to come and get my layaway which was paid for I had to wait another 30 minutes for the manager to tell the cashiers to hand me my box. They never asked to see my receipt they never said a word the girl just kept dismissing me and saying next person please next

Gabe's is a great thrift style store, it was similar to big lots if you've ever been in one. They have a bit more rotating stock so you might not find the same thing every time.This is the spot for some cheaper shirts, pet foods, toys, and some snacks. I'd give them a shot and the reward program is decent if you spend some money with them.

Very interesting store, I was waiting for the restaurant to open so I decided to walk into Gabes.It reminded me of maybe a higher class Ollie's or a discount store or something like that.Lots of discounted clothes, furniture, shoes, purses,dvds, and even household items and so much more!It's a place you go into and walk out with an item you didn't know you needed, but you got a good deal on it.You could spend hours walking through the store looking at all the stuff, LolI will definitely be back to see what I didn't know I needed but found it here.

I found everything I needed at good prices. However, we were looking to use their layaway service on some furniture, and the manager was either so lazy or just right down rude in telling us that she didn't have room for it. There layaway policy, and I read it thoroughly, and it has nothing in it to indicate the space occupied during layaway! It was just a ridiculous excuse, and I still bought $300 worth of merchandise.

I have been to quite a few different Gabe's since moving to WV in 2009. This Gabe's isn't the biggest I've been in but pretty close. To me, it always feels kinda cluttered when I go there. I feel there's not much room/space between displays and racks. Having said that, there hasn't been a single time that I didn't get/find exactly what I went there to get. They have an extraordinary selection of items just make sure you set a few extra mins to be there because you may have to do some real searching. That and the checkout lines are loooong, but that's every Gabe's tho!
