I had a very pleasant experience with Jeremy today. He was kind courteous and professional. He explained all of my options thoroughly and help me to make effortless decisions. I would have like to have given 5 stars to Eyemart but my 1st attempt to purchase glasses was lacking in customer service. Jeremy explained he was busy but no one else stepped up to the plate. Jeremy gets 5 stars for customer service/sales!

I went to the Eyemart Express in Barboursville after seeing the optometrist on 11/21/23.I ordered a pair of high index lenses that came with a free plastic pair.On 11/25, I received a text message saying that the glasses were completed.I went to retrieve both pairs on Friday, 12/1/23 from the Barboursville location.Only the plastic pair was completed, and the employee told me that the machine was broken, but that they could send them off to have them made faster since there was no ETA.12/7/23, I called and asked if they had been completed.The machine was still broken, so I asked if it was possible to have them done in Charleston -- even offered to drive the blanks out if desired.The Barboursville location was alright with this, but the Charleston location called and told me that it was against company policy for the lenses to be transported by customers, and that they would be overnighted, and to expect a call when they were done (expected a few days afterwards).I called the South Charleston location today at 11:03am, spoke with a man who thought he put me on hold.A woman was talking to the man, and I heard her say, "No, that customer threw a fit to the GM and wanted to transport the blanks, so we are still waiting for him to bring them.She sounded suspiciously like the woman in the voicemail I received.My offer to transport the blanks must've been unusual, but with the holidays coming up, I wanted to wear the same style of frames I had worn for about a decade, with higher quality lenses.You see, the glasses I wore at the time had a damaged frame, damaged lenses, and a weaker Rx than the newer ones, leaving me no chice but to wear a pair that I don't much like the style/weight of.To the credit of Barboursville, they said the machine was repaired, and that they would have the glasses done today (1/4/23).I doubt that before now I would have ever had any dealings with the South Charleston Eyemart Express, but looking forward, I will probably avoid Eyemart Express as a business altogether.By the way, this review is what "throwing a fit" looks like.Edit 1/9/24: Updated to respond"Thank you for your feedback concerning our Barboursville location."I intentionally placed a review about the conduct of Charleston Eyemart Express employees on the review page for the Charleston Eyemart Express.True, The Barboursville Eyemart Express was a major player, but the Barboursville employees acting in concert with Charleston led to a negative review for Charleston.How strange it is to see a Charleston Eyemart Express employee mischaracterize a situation!

This is a joke of an establishment. I sat in there for over an hour without ever being acknowledged and people who came in after were taken care of. Them when someone finally did acknowledge we were there we were told something completely different than what was said on the phone and in prior in person visits.

I was having issues with my previous glasses and they did everything possible to help me fix them. When that didn’t work, they worked with me on selecting a new pair that worked for me. 10/10 and I’ll definitely go back when i need new glasses.

Jae is absolutely wonderful !!! I walked in very close to closing time, Jae helped me find two pair of glasses that I love love love, helped me get measured and prepared my glasses before closing WITH NO APPOINTMENT ! Jae is heaven sent !! I’m so happy to be able to see again. Someone get Jae a raise !! 10/10 would recommend

Second time using EyeMart and both times the process was quick, simple and easy. Last year, I got 2 pair of glasses in 28 minutes from walking in the door. This time it took 16 minutes. And great pricing! Highly recommend.

My daughter picked out glasses but when she went to try them on she hated them. Chelsy went above and beyond to help make what could have been a disaster into a great experience. It was very appreciated!! Highly recommend going to see Chelsy.

Eyemart has a lot of different style glasses to choose from. Prices are not bad, I have found them to be cheaper than Walmart. You get a discount for being a first time customer. Most Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Some staff members will not offer any discount, make sure you are getting the discounts available.*** I was able to get my glasses the very next day, they fit great and done excellent per my prescription.

The staff was curtious and helpful. I had issues finding the right frames that would look best on my face and they all jumped in to help. Offering kind compliments as to why or why not each looked best. I wanted to try something different other then simple and plain. All were encouraging when I was doubtful and I love my new frames! The production and shipping was quick, prescription strength was correct once receiving glasses, pick up from store was simple and easy (they will help adjust if needed) and all for a fraction of the price! Definitely will continue to shop there when I need new glasses! I have bought several pairs from there and they have all lasted well over 3 years! No complaints and very satisfied!

The two women were great that waited on me . I purchased 2 pairs of glasses in which the representative very nicely assisted me & helped me make a decision by giving me honest opinions on different frames and she did not encourage only expensive frames it was actually the cheapest ones. I also purchased a pair & made in to sunglasses, within 1 hour they were ready but they had told me it would take 2 hours. I always buy my glasses here because I have never found anyone to beat their prices or service. I have MS and it seems everytime I see my eye specialist in 3 months my vision changes , so they will change my lenses within that year of purchase at no extra cost and NO ONE ELSE WILL DO THAT. Eyemart Express is Amazing!!😍😁❤️

Their knowledgeable staff is just the best. Easy to work with, and really have the customers satisfaction In mind. Prices very far , large selection of men, women glass frames, and short wait time to have your glasses complete. I plan on returning to them every year I need new glasses. Easy parking right out front, handicap available too

I thought taking my 2 year old here for his first pair of glasses was going to be HORRIBLE because a lady checked our insurance for us to let us know that they accepted it and how much it would pay, and then she took care of a few other customers. My 2 year screamed. We sat, and walked around, for more than 30 minutes AFTER already choosing glasses. But a different representative, I believe her name was misty, went above and beyond trying to make my son more comfortable. A 0 star visit turned pretty ok with the right person.

Had a great experience at the South Charleston, WV location!!!! Staff was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. My glasses were done in less than the hour. I am so extremely happy with my new glasses. I will definitely return to Eyemart Express the next time I need glasses!!!!

I have been here 2 years in a row. Everyone is always very nice and quick to get you in and out. I have a strong prescription and I have to order mine but I received them this time in 5 days and it was during the holidays so it is very quick. My husband picked his glasses up the same day within an hour. We love this place.
