This store has lots of variety. I like to stop here to pick up a Coke or Dr. Pepper from the cooler before going somewhere else for a quick lunch @ a drive-through at the Kanawha Mall, where I can park & eat my food away from the crowds.

A shopping gem in Charleston, WV for sure! This store has been here for as long as I can remember! I love that they carry merchandise that you can’t find anywhere else! They offer a lot of WVU and Marshall University merch. If your looking for a place to find WV shirts or various gifts that has WV on it, this is the place to go! They also sell homemade items that are made from people/small businesses here in WV. Very cool place! Support your LOCAL MOM AND POP stores and NOT just the big box corporations.

If I could give a zero I would bc they sold me a ring and said it wouldn't tarnish, so I bought it for $10. It didn't take 2 days to turn my finger. If they knew it wasn't real then they should have said it. Not lied to make a sale. Very unprofessional. I will not shop there again

they have a little bit of everything, some you want, some you don't even know what it does. Came for compression socks. Big selection. And they fill medication request.

I was buying an item in bulk and the man stocking the item continually made condescending remarks about the amount of items I was purchasing and indicated I needed an “intervention”. Note…it was not alcohol. I don’t know if he was employed by the store or the manufacturer of the product, but my purchasing habits and spending habits are my business and he needs to keep his opinions to himself. I will be making my bulk and all other purchases elsewhere in the future. Also, I was panhandled as I was leaving.

Both the Drug Emporium and Healthy Market provide a great option for the West Side. The former has an array of health and household items, groceries, a great selection of adult beverages, and always many discounted products. Healthy Market provides the healthier alternative for food, drink, supplements, and more. Staff at both stores are friendly and helpful.

Health food section, I’m the only customer, one young woman, with zero knowledge, tried to help me find items I needed.Pharmacy, I waited patiently, in front of three women, all three saw me, none acknowledged my presence nor offered to be with me in a moment. The one women directly in front of me, at the window, ignored me, while on a personal phone call that never ended. Again, I was the only customer. I gave up.Cigarette corner, I couldn’t hear or tell if the women behind the plexiglass was asking me a question or if she was shocked. Those eyebrows! The young man was helpful and nice.At checkout, the young man was efficient, nice, and fast. First time that ever happened!I’ve spent a lot money here. Last visit was today. They won’t miss me, nor I them.Overpriced cheap clothing, shoes, etc.. Heck, practically everything is overpriced. If you drink, a wide selection of beer is available, and overpriced!

I like the health part of the store. Staff seems to know what's there. Good selection of organic frozen foods and other related products. Shop here at least once each time I'm in Charleston.

My go-to for beer selection in Charleston. The growler station is very cool, with eight choices and different beers coming in periodically. You can buy a new growler, or bring your own. They will clean it, fill it, seal it, and label it. Employees are very friendly and helpful.

Inside in the back left of the store you will the Healthy Life Market. Drug Emporium has a wide selection of West Virginia University and Marshall University clothing and items. Also, they have a selection of wine and beer. It also has a Pharmacy in the back right of the store.

Drug Emporium/Healthy Life Market is a wonderful place to find vitamins, oils, mineral suppliments, specialty vegetarian and vegan food. They have a huge selection of normal drug store fare, a large selection of organic tea and lots of affordable shoes and clothes.
