pharmacy is ALWAYS closed !!!! Bad enough most of the time they are out of my meds and then I have to go to walmart and PAY out of pocket for medications that should be covered at walgreens. Why did they close down the Freeman Blvd one? At least they were open more and actually had my medications in stock !!!!

My experience is frequently similar to many others posted. I was told on the phone that my meds would be ready today. When I arrived I was told my medication was out of stock and might be in on Wed. A new excuse was that they have fewer days to place orders and they are trying to adjust to the new ordering schedule. I am pleasantly surprised when a pharmacy order is completed without a problem.

The store itself offers a good selection of basic items one may find to avoid a trip to grocery stores. EBT is even accepted here for those who rely on this payment, but prices are steep.

The most useless Walgreens I’ve ever been to. IF their pharmacy is even open, it is normal to have to make 2-3 trips and call your doctor at least 1 time to confirm they sent it to the pharmacy (and they always have to send it twice).

Never in my entire life have I ever dealt with a pharmacy like this one. It’s completely normal to make 2-4 trips to this pharmacy for the SAME prescription. It will be ready at 11:00 . Show up at 1:45. We need to verify, come back in 45 minutes. Back in 70 minutes. We verified it but it hasn’t been filled yet. Come back in 1 hour. This happens literally all the time. Never again

New temp pharmacy hours making me think they only have one pharmacist. Pic included for info of those interested. Says it's good beginning 10/28/2021. Personally I'm sick of wasting time at this location. I feel like having given them a year and a half to fix things is quite sufficient. I can't keep spending 1/2 an hour to an hour every time I show up to pick up a scrip. And I can't keep getting inaccurate times for when I can pick up so I can wait those times in vain. My time is more valuable than this.

I would not recommend this Walgreens to anyone who is looking for timely and efficient prescription call-in/pick up. Hours are constantly changing, lines are long and prompt pick up is non-existent. This is highly unfortunate because CVS isn't any better. There are no solid options for customers in need of scripts to be filled.

Literally put the pharmacy closed sign up in my face after waiting in line for 15 minutes. I was the last person in line. Forget policy, that’s just rude and disrespectful as a human being. I switched to Walgreens years ago, so I didn’t have to go to Walmart, but they are useless with the hours they are open. They also change the hours between 9-5 and 10-6 without notice. There is a different sign up every time I drive by the closed window. I had switched back to Walmart out of pure necessity, as they are never open when I need a prescription. I had a prescription come through and was going to pick it up, but forget it. They’re a waste of time.

Worst pharmacy ever. They set their time delayed safe to noon. So on the day you can pick up your prescription you have a 5-6 hour window to pick up your meds. If that's on a Friday and you get pulled away and can'take that short window...you'll have to wait until Monday because they are closed on weekends. Been with Walgreens for 5 years however we will be going elsewhere.years

Horrible. Find somewhere else. For one prescription I was told 4 different things by 4 different employees within 3 hours. They can't figure out why something in their own system is the way it is. Drive thru is slow and the last two times it took 10 minutes each time for them to even find my prescription that they filled. Hours are cut and hard to work around. Only reason I haven't changed yet is trying to find a decent alternative in town is difficult. For the love of all things fill your scripts elsewhere.

Last month someone deleted my refill request out of the queue TWICE without filling it. This month they apparently filled the order on the 5th, but never contacted me or changed the information in my account to reflect that it was ready. And guess what? They are randomly closed today, a Friday. And will be closed Sat. and Sunday as well. I understand that they have staffing problems but, as someone else noted, you'd think somebody in management would see these bad reviews and take a closer look.

Very disappointed with the new Walgreens, especially the pharmacy. Nothing like sliding backwards in customer service. At least with the Rite Aid they had a 24 hour automated refill prescription service that was fast, easy and rather painless. Now in order to fill a prescription we need to wait until they are open - definitely taking convenience out of the process. Please reinstate the automated refill prescription for the benefit of your customers.

Consistently terrible pharmacy service, and worst ability to put pills in a container. Even when I call ahead to verify my prescription is ready, when I show up a day later... nope! “But we can have it done in an hour or so”. I have been a Walgreens customer in 5 DIFFERENT STATES that I’ve lived in. All of them were excellent. This hot mess will have me going the scripts-by-mail first thing tomorrow. Side note, lovely counter staff.

If I could have given 0 stars I would have. Been going here for my prescriptions the last few months with no problems. Today must have been the D crew because it was a complete disaster. I called in 2 refills 3 days ago. I received 2 calls a day that since then that my prescriptions were ready for pick up. So my husband went to pick then up today and said that I had 3 prescriptions but insurance has ended so retail price would be around $900. I told my husband there was only 2 orders and even at retail price would be no where near $900. So they were completely willing to give my husband someone else's meds!!! So my husband goes back and the get the right order but says its not ready yet bc they put it back after 2 days of not picking it up. I call and speak to an associate (I will not say who bc I work in retail and dont want to be a total Karen) but she told me that when I get the call that my meds are ready that sometimes they are not really ready. I suggested that they fix that system. Then she corrected me very condescendingly that they dont put prescriptions away until 10 days. I said well thats not what you told me husband who is there right now. Then she blamed covid shots... well agaim whst does that have to do with meds I called in 3 days ago and was told were ready. Then I told her thatmy husband was given the wrong persons meds. She told me that my husbsnd must have been confused and gave then wrong name. Wow the guy I have been married to for 16 years still doesnt know my name ! I then told her husband will have my meds in 10 min or I will be coming to the store myself. She was sooooo rude and I work in retail which gives me A LOT of tolerance.

I usually just get my scripts filled here and the pharmacy staff is always on point and helpful. The reason for this review is due to the awful online store pickup service Walgreens uses. This is a second time I have placed an online order and it somehow the Walgreens system was flummoxed and couldn’t process the order. Why the 5 star review? Thanks to Kayla and trying to work through the process, she price matched the stuff I ordered online after an awful time trying to get the scanning device to finalize my order. Some people could have just cancelled the order and said sorry, try again. In customer service it’s imperative to get it right the first time. Walgreens, fix the botched online ordering and make sure you are taking care of your very helpful employees at this location. They were very helpful.

Horrible location when it comes to the pharmacy. It is hardly open, slow to process orders in person, through drive thru and on the Walgreens app. I am pulling my and my family's prescriptions from Walgreens - any other local pharmacy HAS TO BE better than this operation.

Not happy. Was happy before now. Be careful about prescriptions. Seems like their eyesight isn't so great. We filled 2 prescriptions. One was an extended release of the same drig. We paid for both when we should've only paid for 1. We do take some of the blame here but we can't return it and they won't refund our money. We will be going back to the insurance company to file a complaint.

Was traveling, ran out of some basic meds, and came in for a few pills to get me through 2 more days. The pharmacist wouldn't ok anything except for one that was in the system as ready for pickup. Was there for over an hour. Drove to the Ronson Walgreens. They were pleasant professional & had me out in 15 minutes with the meds I needed, at no charge.

I have had so many problems getting my prescriptions as of late. A new prescription takes a whole week to fill and if there's a problem they never contact me. I am not sure why this keeps happening. I can't find whom to contact online. Thinking of switching pharmacies but the other ones don't get such great reviews either. 😕

Incompetent!! Since Walgreens took over in January this place is a complete joke. Rude worthless Pharmacy staff. Sure wish I knew where the old Rite Aid employees went. At least they were helpful.Update.well now it has been about a month since my last review.I did not think it possible but the place has gotten worse.O 3 / 12/ 20. I called to refill a script. 40 minutes on hold.then wehn we recived the meds they were incorect.My one star review is still to high. Rude Abusive uncooperative and useless.

I've been using this pharmacy for about 8 months. most of the time I drop off and give them 2 or 3 DAYS to fill the prescription. for the last few months I have decided it may be easier to wait. when they tell you 20 minutes, give them an hour. one time they told me one hour that turned into 3!! they are not friendly, not helpful or pleasant. I don't know what they do back there but it has nothing to do with customer service . for peace of mind, just go somewhere else.

I have been several times and everybody is always very friendly and they always greet me when I come in. The pharmacy techs/pharmacists are always nice and willing to answer my questions. I like how their automated phone system calls let me know when my prescription is ready.The store is always clean and well organized. I also like their 50% off clearance rack over by the drink coolers.

This is a horrible Walgreens!! I just moved here and had my prescriptions switched over. I have had nothing but problems, not to mention, even with no one in line or one person only, you always have to wait extremely long amounts of time to be waited on. This is unacceptable and I've never experienced such in all my life! Get new techs or figure something out. Until you do, I'm switching pharmacies. What a disappointment in a new town!!!

It doesn’t matter if I scan my refills or not. I will wait a day or so after scanning for refill, STILL have to wait for it to be filled when I get to pharmacy. Sometimes I get “our truck hasn’t arrived yet” and I know that’s not true, I live right behind it and I saw the truck deliver 2 hours earlier. Bottom line is it doesn’t matter what I do to speed up the process it never works. I always have to wait once I get to pharmacy. I’m seriously thinking about going to CVS right down the street. Like today, my wife had surgery and doctor called in her medicine 5 hours ago and here I am waiting for it to be filled. Now she is at home in pain and I have to sit and wait as usual. Can’t blame it on Covid because it was like this before Covid Pandemic started. I’m fed up with Walgreens Pharmacy on Flowing Springs in Ranson WV

This pharmacy needs to either get more help or close the drive thru window completely. Just sat waiting for 25 minutes to pick up a prescription. The pharmacist was trying to wait on customers at the window and at the inside counter, while administering Covid vaccines also. This happens every time I stop to pick up my mother in law’s medicines. Think we will switch to CVS!

Same Problem Different Day. The pharmacist Stephanie has zero customer service skills and could care less if you complain to the 800 number. She has zero accountability. Walgreens has received thousands of dollars as a result of my dogs medications. He is diabetic and had cataract surgery. Notably, the other pharmacist Sebastian is wonderful. The problem is that he can't work 24/7 so if he is not working, you will not get the proper prescriptions or any help whatsoever.

Terrible customer service. The pharmacy/pharmacist are terrible. I had a perception called in on the 10/4/19 on 10/8/19 I called over and over was even waited on hold for 25 minutes to be hung up on. They had not even filled the prescription. 4 days they had done nothing with my medication. I was ready to flip out on these tards luckily my with managed to get ahold of a manager. Store manger a few minutes later I finally got a text saying my prescription was ready for pick up.I will never use this store again there lake of work ethic and professionalism came close to landing me in prison for life. Life is to short to wast on these type of people

I have had nothing but issues with this Walgreens. Prescription not ready, even though it was there the day before. I couldn't get it because their card on file system was down and I didn't have my card on me because I was planning on using the one on file. Came back the next day, no prescription. They found it, wasn't filled. Told me it would be 15 minutes, and it's been 25 and counting. I'm the only person besides employees in the store. Not thrilled.
