I spoke with Stephanie from this shop and she seemed nice and reasured me I would be getting a beautiful funeral peice. I got a cat in the hat horrible weird arrangement with two plaid bows it was absaloutley awful. It was honestly offensive and I have been trying to call for weeks now to get a refund but no one answers the phone. The first arrangement is what I asked for and the second is what I got. This was for my friends mother who passed and it was incredibly sad to see such an ugly arrangement at her funeral.

I found this florist in 2020. I had Stephanie make an arrangement for my parents 70th Anniversary based on my Mom's bouquet and she came through with flying colors. Last weekend she made a lovely arrangement of Irises for my Mom's Memorial Service ( my Mom loved Irises and had a huge garden of them at one time). Edit: by the time I got the picture of the Irises they were a few days old, but it was exactly what I wanted.

Stephanie helped my husband and I with our wedding in 2016. We were getting married in front of an old tree and I wanted it decorated but had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was able to decorate the tree fantastically!! Not to mention I LOVED my bouquet as well. She is great and will help you with anything! Totally recommend her!

I live in Wisconsin and needed to find a local florist in Charles Town WV to deliver a floral arrangement to a family member. Not being familiar with any local florist in Charles Town I selected Steel Magnolias. I am so glad i did! Stephanie went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. She was both my coordinator and florist. When I walked into our venue, the day of the wedding, she already had everything set up and decorated exactly the way I had envisioned in mind, with the most gorgeous flower arrangements all around our reception space. I was so in love with the cascading bouquet she made for me that I'm having it dried and preserved to hold on to. She helped make our wedding so much less stressful, because she took care of every little detail, so we didn't have to worry about remembering everything on our own. Stephanie was such a blessing to work with. I highly recommend her as both a coordinator and a florist!

Without question one of the best florist experiences I've ever had. Not only was the caliber of the floral arrangement, price of the product and quality of the product utterly incredible, but Stephanie was so very accommodating. I was on a business trip to Florida, wherein Stephanie worked with me, before her designated work hours, to establish a last minute floral arrangement for my wedding anniversary, which both met the provisions of my wife's floral desires and budget. Unquestionably, I will seek to utilize Stephanie and her team in the future!

I contacted Steel Magnolias regarding an arrangement via Facebook Messenger. My questions were answered very quickly and moved forward with the purchase. The next day I was contacted letting me know my arrangement was ready. The arrangement was beautiful and extremely well priced. If your in need of flowers then I strongly suggest purchasing from Steel Magnolias.

Not only did they create a truly exceptional MASTERPIECE of a floral arrangement for my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day (who was OVER the moon thrilled with it, btw!) Stephanie was super responsive and helpful, flexible with delivery date/time & distance, attentive to the type of flowers we wanted in the arrangement... anything & everything you could possibly want in a great local florist! She even sent me a picture of the arrangement before delivering it!! Seriously, the talent, creativity & care Steel Magnolias puts into their work deserves way more than 5 stars! I have recently bought flowers to be delivered to my parents, that live in Charles Town. Well I was treated very well by this florist. In everyway. From the beautiful Flowers they carry. To the reasonable cost. To the delivery. The general caring about what they do. I'm so happy I chose this florist, for they still have the small town feeling with what they do. I have dealt with many different florists over the years but she, by far, goes above and beyond to make sure you are pleased with the arrangement, bouquet, etc. Stephanie’s flowers are always very fresh and last. She knows her flowers really well so if you go there unsure she will be able to assist you in getting you the flowers you were imagining. I would recommend her to anyone.

I would 100% recommend this place. I called in the morning to have flowers delivered by the afternoon and Stephanie was able to get it done. I do not know much about flower arrangements and Stephanie was able to walk me through the process and sent me the final arrangement for approval. 10/10 would recommend to other people.

ResponseWe did call. Every week. You know as well as we do that it accomplished nothing. You don't have proof of a refund because you never sent one. Why now are you charging $150.00 for what we were quoted as a $75.00 arrangement. The yellow roses were not garden roses they were standard. Yes, this is a horrific review but it matches your behavior. My dad died, we called you for flowers, Covid hit and we had to cancel, and you add insult to injury. We will see you in court.____________________________Initial reviewThe business should be named steal magnolias. My father died in January and my wife prepaid for flowers for his memorial service. When Covid hit we had to cancel the service and still have not rescheduled. My wife asked for a refund and was given nothing but excuses. The one star rating is because she did do a mother's day arrangement and delivered it but that was likely a quarter of what we prepaid and still no refund of the remainder. My wife filed a dispute with the bank and this vendor lied to the bank so she could keep the money. Originally we prepaid $355.10 after the mothers day arrangement she still owes us $266. Don't prepay this business she's a thief.

Buy at your own risk. Failed to deliver flowers on mothers day. I didn’t get angry, these things happen its a small business. But When I inquired thinking a day late is not the end of the world…. She asked for proof of purchase and then refused to respond again. I am at a loss and have no idea what the problem is. Not only do I have a disappointed Mother but I have to spend time figuring out how to get my $$ back from a business who charged me but didn’t deliver.

She has done 3 funerals for our family and has done an outstanding job. She works well with her customers, vendors, and the public. She provides excellent service.
