I love this small pet store. They carry a better quality of things than you find at the larger store.The best part about the place has the dog wash. Easy and affordable.Most is the staff is spot on, but there has been a time or two where I was not rung up correctly. It was corrected, but some need to show down just a bit.

This store offers a nice variety that its direct nearby competitor falls short in. In addition to fish, cats are sometimes here for adoption, and the ones I've seen are have been extremely friendly. Bathing areas to wash your pets are available to use for a flat fee of ten dollars. The charge includes providing soaps and towels as well. I was told that staff also bathes pets, though I'm not sure if the price charge is increased. When asked of a staff member would bathe a cat, I was told yes!

Great place, just tried their free Pet Wash promotion today, 1st time I've tried a self wash. I already buy food and treats there, now I'll add the self pet wash!Towels, shampoo, Water hose with water temp adjustment, Leash attachment in tub , and leash tie in the bathing area as my 2nd dog waited . And free treats to coax them up the stairs to the tub and after they bathed as a reward!Then a cool pet blow dryer to really dry them off. Very cool indeed!

Is a scaled down version of the big box pet stores, but carry some different items such as raw dog & cat foods. Their prices are the same. Their dog wash is wonderful! They provide fantastic shampoo, conditioner and a dryer for only $10. Don't forget to give your newly bathed pooch a treat after you've finished!

Very clean. We use the dog wash station often and love it. It runs about $10. Just bring your dog and wash yourself. They have everything you need. My only gripe.will be the prices of the merchandise. I feel it's a bit high. Otherwise, it's a great shop for pets

Best thing ever for pet owners. I Love the dog wash! No more bending over Breaking my back and easy steps for your dog to get into the tub. Plus the luxurious friendly supply of towels, soap, and an apron to keep you clean and dry!

I took my dog to give him a bath on Sunday March 15, 2020. The lady who was working asked me what kind of shampoo I wanted to use I told her tea tree. I then rinsed my dog down and went to use the shampoo it was about a half of a bottle. I always shake them because they mix a lot of water in the shampoo which they shouldn't mix water with them because it cuts down the effect of the shampoos cleaning power. I have a video of me pouring the second bottle of shampoo I got from the lady because there was 0 shampoo coming out. I even used my hand to scrub him in the video and no suds came to the surface while I was scrubbing him down. The dog washing area is very convenient for us to wash our dog there, that's why I'm still rating this at 2 stars. However, I don't see a point in it if all the shampoo they offer is going to be nothing but water from them watering it down.

Great place to bath our dogs. $10 and they supply the shampoos, towels and high-powered blow dryers.Massive choices of all pet sundries and foods.Nice cat adoption area, too.

Love this place! You can bathe your dog for $10. They provide everything you need to do it and they give you treats for your dog, too. Always clean, always friendly staff and very helpful. This is my go-to store and preferred location.

There were plenty of staff, very friendly and helpful to us. We loved the idea of bringing our pet here to give them a bath. The facilities were geared just right to washing your pet. $10 is worth not having to cleanup the hair from the bathtub and the water off of the bathroom floor at home! Prices were typical of pet store pricing as opposed to Wal-Mart type stores. They had a good selection of pet food and had a decent assortment of higher quality pet food. Bringing your pets in is encouraged and well received. This is smaller than the competition in Ranson but has a decent assortment. They do not sell animals directly other than beta fish but they do host animal adoption clinics.

I (used to) go there frequently for dog baths. When they first opened it was a wonderful store. This last time my GSD contracted a fungal toe/nail infection after her bath there. I did notice it smelled a bit and wasnt as clean as I was used to. I'm a little sad I'll be doing baths at home again and ultimately not shopping there anymore, because that is when I bought my dog food too. Oh well, back to chewy and cleaning my own tub.

Great selection of products, and a truly great staff. Very helpful and friendly, they have been able to help me choose some great stuff for all my animals. Will be going back to use the wash stations here soon... looks a LOT easier than using my tub at home.

It's nice to have a small pet goods store near by. The staff is always friendly and can help me find something when needed. They have been wonderful to my young GSD - especially as she went through her bark at everyone fear phase and Pet Valu was a great location with just a few people inside during the week for a quick visit to help socialize her (and pick up a treat, too).

The store is a bit small for my tastes. They seemed to have a decent selection of items, including some frozen pet foods. Unfortunately I was looking for a refrigerated bison meal for my parents Chihuahua and they didn't carry refrigerated foods. I wound up looking for it at 4 places I was told carried it before I got it from the nearby PetCo.

We got a great scratching pad and tree for the new kittens. They love the toys and we love the selection. They are a great local business and are good for the community. They allow your pets to visit and can help with adoption. Visit soon.

I love the dog wash! It's great having a place I can take my 100lb dog and bathe her without messing up my bathroom! And the elevated tubes keep my back from complaining too!

The store is nicely organized and bright but I will never shop there again. I went in to purchase Frontline Plus. The cashier found the item but could not scan it in for purchase. The other cash register couldn't scan it, nor was there a Manager to call or a inventory sheet to input item numbers. The cashier apologized but had to direct me to Pet Smart in the next town. Such incompetence! Where was her back-up?

Saved a stray kitten life today went to this store and got a baby bottle n formula for kitten. If its cold will not eat. Little thing was wet got it outta the rain use a hair dryer to warm it up feed it poor little thing slept good

So much to choose from! Supplies for all kinds of pets. Staff was friendly, helpful and took time to ask if I needed help and answered all questions I had. I don't currently have a pet, but if I did this is where I would shop for them.

Love the fact that we now have a local option for self dog wash and it's only 10 bucks. Downside is they don't really supply any tools to assist in bathing at all.

I was looking for the perfect collar my dog can't bust out of. And wallah!!!! No clasps. It had a slight choker to stop him from pulling...she helped a sistah out big time!!! And it works well.

All US Petvalu locations are set to close by January 2021.Unfortunate because this really has been a great store with fair prices all around, and the best dog wash station you can find anywhere in the area.

Was super excited to find this store & tell friends & family about it but upon walking in & politely asked if I can take a pic to post & tell friends about was rudely greeted by “we don’t allow pictures” really?!? Wonder what wld have been done if I snapped one anyway?!?? Now I would not send anyone their way. Customer Service has really fallen by the wayside at this establishment. Disappointed to say the least.

Way better then pet for dog and cat supplies however that is about the only pet items you will find.Pet washing stations are great!
