Really great Martin's. I like the layout; everything is clean and well organized. The parking lot is not at all my favorite though, really is the only weak point of the place. I had no issues while there at all. If you keep to the sales you can save more money here than at other place down the road.

Today, I stood in line at the deli counter for more than 20 minutes. Most of that time was waiting for the previous customer to finish her order. My complaint is that I saw 4 or 5 employees back behind the counter, but only ONE waiting on customers. This is no way to treat customers. There needs to be some changes made. Customers should not have to stand around waiting on "ONE" server to serve them! Also, by the time my order was filled, there were 4 other customers standing in line. RIDICULOUS!!!

The store itself is wonderful and the customer service is usually at least decent. Not this time. My one star review is due to the self check out "attendant".. I wasn't feeling good so I went to our car while my husband went to the self check out. While he was scanning things (we had martins fried chicken and a salad from their salad bar, along with a few other things), the "attendant" (blonde haired guy) decided that it was okay to stick his hands into our cart and grab the salad, my husband then asked him not grab our food and the guy defends himself "it's on a container". He then proceeds to try to grab the salad, my husband stopped him again so the guy decides to stand right next to him as he's finishing scanning and bagging. I would've flipped out, that is ILLEGAL. He needs to be disciplined for treating people like thieves. He does not need to be in that kind of job field. I will be calling to make a complaint! I should note that he was grabbing those items to scan himself as if my husband was doing something wrong. He didn't ask if my husband needed help or anything, just started to grab the items and say "oh let me go ahead and scan this" SCREW YOU!

Their self checkout staff are probably the most annoying and useless people ever.The sale items don’t always ring up as on sale. Staff have no problem to hover over you, but can’t fix their silly machines. Basically, This company steals from the customers.

I always buy my fried chicken at this Martin's. Their fried chicken here recently has been dry. Today it was dry and it was still red in some parts. Customer service in the deli is terrible. Out of 3 people there the guy with the mask helped us. The other 2 ignored customers.( One was walking back and forth and the other was cleaning) .

Fried chicken was soggy, slimy, and undercooked. Had to throw it out. Redskins potato salad, potatoes were undercooked. Glazed donuts were soggy. All purchased 11/10.

It was comparable to a target. Service was great. The two ladies working the register (went late at night) were absolute sweet hearts. Store had a great selection. They did let you pick your own 6 from the local breweries. That was cool. Prices are higher than I expected for this part of the country.

Standard local grocery store. Has good selection on most items and deals with coupons. Save by signing up for store loyalty card: works well with app including electronic coupons. Self check-out option and usually short lines with assisted check-out. Can use rewards for lower price on gas from affiliated station nearby. Store is clean and staff usually helpful.

They have a good selection of organic foods, staff is friendly, and the prices aren’t terrible. My only problem with this store is the bathrooms. The first stall had pee all over the toilet seat and the little trash can was on the floor. The second stall had no door, and the handicapped stall had a mysterious liquid all over the floor that was covered with toilet paper and paper towels. Needless to say, I waited till I got home. Literally the most horrific bathroom i’ve ever been in !

This store is very clean and organized. I also am able to find items not stocked in other nearby grocery stores. I use their Martin's direct online shopping and have never had an issue with it. In fact, its the reason I stopped shopping at another store. Other stores don't substitute (even though I ask) and they give me fruit and veggies that are bad. That's never happened at this store. Martin's in Charles Town is top notch. Their gas program is the best too. I got over $2.30 off a gallon for gas the other day and filled up for $16. This place is the best

I am a new resident of Charles Town, WV. I really like the Martin's grocery store. Surprisingly good prices compared to other stores. Friendly staff. Just a good experience. Since I live near by, I will be getting all my groceries here.

##update 8/24I recieved a nice response from the (Owner) but clearly they do not visit the restroom of their own store. As the owner encouraged, I gave them another chance, only to find the restroom in even worse condition!Same disgusting dirt scum buildup on the sinks, floors havnt been mopped in ages, and the urinals look like a truck stop. I am DONE! If the customer restrooms are this neglected, I can only imagine the condition of the back rooms. This is where I am supposed to buy my food?????? Absolutely disgusting!----------------Hate to give a 1 star review, but the mens restroom on 8/15 around 7pm was absolutely disgusting. So dirty and ignored, that I am seriously worried about shopping here for my groceries. This bathroom has not been cleaned in a VERY LONG TIME. Management: please please address this immediately out of respect for your customers.

Pharmacy staff are very helpful. Over all store is well stocked and reasonable on price, it pays to use digital coupons at Martins as well as using their add to get coupons. Gas points are great when you save enough points. I have saved up to 60 cents a gallon with points and their special bonus points.

Live cashier checkouts or scan and go. They also have parking for handicap, expecting mothers and curbside pickup. Very clean store and everything is very neatly displayed. Just watch out for the robotic floor buffer 😂 They do have all household groceries and needs, fresh produce, fresh open self service salads, deli hot/cold,alchohol, baby products, home and bath,floral shop, fresh coffee shop, Western Union, money transfers restrooms and bakery. Pretty pricey so have a deep pocket. I only took a friend shopping there. They also have a rewards program that you have to use your points up monthly unlike other rewards cards that allows you to carry your points over monthly. They also sale gas and for every 100 pts you get .10 off per gallon unlike another local affiliation gives you .03 off every time you buy gas and .10 off per gallon per every 50pts.
