Stopped here for a cup of coffee on our way to Baltimore for a concert on a Sunday afternoon. It's so hard to find a good local coffee shop that is still open at 4:30 on a Sunday! Service was top notch! The batista talked to us the entire time he prepared our beverages. The coffee was fantastic! The coffee cakes, muffins, and croissants looked so good, but I just didn't need the extra calories at that point of my day, lol! I look forward to many visits to La Gazelle in the future! I especially love that they don't close at 2pm because sometimes you just need some caffeine later in the day, lol!

Love this place! It’s my go-to for when I need to study and home is too distracting. I feel like there are so many coffee shops popping up, the way microbreweries used to, like people are doing it because it’s the cool thing to do but they don’t actually know how to make good coffee. I’ve been to one too many of them where the coffee just tastes like slightly brown water with no real flavor. But the owner, Muhammad, (forgive me if I’ve spelled it wrong, I looked up ways to spell it and this was the most common) clearly knows what he’s doing. The coffee is strong with an excellent flavor. The pastries are also delicious. Muhammad is professional but casual and friendly enough to make you feel comfortable and at ease. Some reviews have said he’s too quiet or mumbling and unhelpful. He is quiet, and it probably wouldn’t hurt for him to speak up a little bit, but I can still hear him when he speaks and he is plenty friendly, smiling and warmly greeting everyone that comes in; he simply has a quiet nature but he is not aloof or unhelpful. His unique latte flavors are delicious, definitely try the spanish latte and the pistachio cream latte, they do not disappoint. My go to is the pour over, so good! I was there in the evening and wanted to get some dinner and he was completely fine with me doordashing something and eating it there, which was so accommodating.I absolutely recommend you stop by and if you live here, making it your regular coffee stop.

Certainly the best new coffee shop experience in Charles Town. If you're exploring downtown and are looking for a proper caffe latte or any espresso drink... look no further. Incredible quality roast, gorgeous latte crafting, and a super friendly owner. Hoping this place thrives because "historically hip" downtown desperately needed this!

Honey cinnamon latte, mocha, and red velvet latte were all delicious and not overly sugared. This place reminds me of a place in aberfoyle, Scotland. Atmosphere and scent memory for me but think this is a great spot for a very good cup of coffee. Great service and love the later hours!!!! Do go. It's awesome.Ps. The picture is of the red velvet after the first sip 🤣 Messed up the heart that was there to start ❤️🔥

Love seeing new options for quality coffee in smaller towns but I don’t see how you can be successful without coffee on drip and only a single pour over option per week. Roast was too dark for my taste and without other options I wouldn’t come back. I’m sure this will appeal to a certain crowd but they should really expand choices for roast and offer drip for fast turn around.

La Gazelle is such a sweet little space, with amazing coffee and a friendly owner who provides excellent service. If you live anywhere relatively close to this area (Martinsburg, Harper’s Ferry, Frederick, Hagerstown) it is worth the drive to try the coffee and pastries. My favorites are the red velvet latte with oat milk and the apple danish.

Walking in and the atmosphere was friendly but a little bland.I can see people meeting up for a job interview. We order one small hot chocolate and a small Chai with Almond milk, total was $10 with 15% tip.The hot chocolate was delicious.Chai could have used more spice/flavor.The presentation was very cute and we liked it !Overall great coffee shop .
