Thanks to this pharmacy providing incorrect hours on the main CVS website where the hours are claimed to accurately represent holiday hours, instead of picking up my antibiotic at 10am this morning, my husband and I had to call around to CVS locations and the main number for 45 minutes, then call my telehealth doctor because CVS apparently can't transfer from one location to another if the prescription is sent when the location is closed (though remember they claimed they would be open). And now I'm going to have to drive for an hour and a half minutes on Christmas day, when we have people coming over, and while I suffer from a terrible UTI that seems to be progressing to a kidney infection. I promise you after this day, I will never shop at any CVS ever again.

I wish I could give it no stars. This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever used in my life I know this is West Virginia but Stevie wonder could fill a prescription quicker than this pharmacy fully staffed and he’s blind. I usually wait at least a day to even pick it up because I’ll be waiting over half the day for them to put 15 pieces of medication in a bottle. Half the time they run out of stuff as well. Oh and when they want to leave early they claim their system is down like they do on EVERY HOLIDAY. It really wouldn’t be a shame if this cvs closed down I mean there is literally one on the other side of town but I won’t be giving them any business and if you’re reading this and you have any sense you wouldn’t either unless you want your day ruined by these fine 🙄 people.

This CVS pharmacy has to be the worst in existence. When you call you are waiting for at a minimum 10-20 minutes for someone in the pharmacy to pick up. When you go in you can stand at the counter for awhile before anyone even begins to acknowledge you are there. The drive thru is closed often, not due to staffing issues because there will be 5-6 people in the pharmacy and yet they will close the drive thru. Prescriptions get sent there electronically and they will sit for hours before they even pull them in to begin to fill them…if they ever get filled that is. Often they will pull electronically submitted prescriptions and not fill them at all. The prescriptions will post to your profile but because they didn’t fill it, the app will not allow you to request to have it filled either. It states you must contact the pharmacy. So then you have to call in…but remember…be prepared for that 10-20 minute minimum wait time for someone to answer the phone. All of this doesn’t even address coming in after your doctor sent a prescription hours prior only for them to say they didn’t get it. Then you drive home and by the time you get home they started to fill the same prescription they just said they didn’t have. The customer service is either nonexistent or rude at best. My favorite is the young gentleman behind the counter when you ask him any questions, all he says is “I don’t know…I don’t know”…and that’s it. He won’t try to remedy the situation, find a solution or an answer to your needs or what you are asking. When your doctor asks if there’s any other pharmacy they can send your prescription to because your doctor dislikes dealing with them so much so that they are encouraging their patients to use another pharmacy…that says something. If they keep cutting their hours back they soon won’t be open at all…which actually might be a good thing. They are #1 in the category of The Worst of The Worst Ever! 🏆 👎🏼

The incompetence of this pharmacy floors me. They are slow, frustrating, confusing, forgetful, and I simply cannot count on them. This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with.

Pharmacy told us to come back in 30 mins, I get home 8 mins away and get the text that it’s ready so I come back (before posted closing time) and they are closing up and won’t serve prescriptions. Another dude was trying to get help and they made him wait until the closed up in his face. Then all three pharmacy workers left all ashamed scared like they were being blasted by paparazzi.. the head pharmacist should be fired

I have been a long term customer, but I am looking to move to another pharmacy. All the reviews I read , I have also experienced this total breakdown of service at this store ( Flowing Springs , might even be worst) .It has only been getting worst, do not use CVS in Charles Town .

Hours sporadic due to “staffing issues” that have been ongoing for weeks. Prescriptions no longer filled on time. Drive thru hasn’t been open for at least 2 weeks and the resulting line inside is excessively long with 15 plus minute waits to pick up ready prescriptions. Am switching my prescriptions to another pharmacy after years of going here.

I drove all the way to this store for my Booster shot with appointment. The Pharmacist didn't want to do his job ,so made every excuse not to do I showed my vaccination record on my phone but he refused to do it without seeing the physical copy. His behavior was very rude and unprofessional. After that I drove to Walmart without an appointment. Walmart staffs were so friendly, and I got the booster shot with same phone records without any problem. I will never ever use CVS Pharmacy.

Pharmacy doesn’t answer the phone and drive thru has been closed for months. Staff told me medication would be in stock by 4 days. Five days later, staff tells me they haven’t had it in stock for while and don’t know when it’ll be back in stock. Please shut this pharmacy down until it can run properly.

Shonna in the pharmacy is AMAZING!! I travel for work and have multiple prescriptions for my boss; she helped me more than anyone has in the past 3 years. Fantastic service, please note that she provided assistance that no one else at any other CVS in the country has ever offered. Thank you Shonna!

I use to be discriminated against by a pharmacist that use to work there because of the medication I was prescribed. Even though I have been a customer for over 15 years this one pharmacist would never fill my prescription and said that he doesn't have to if he doesn't want to so I went without my medication everytime he was working. This medication I have been on for over 15 years and I would get violently ill without it. The pharmacist that discriminated against me is no longer there and I have to say the pharmacy staff is so much more professional and kind. In my eyes it does only take one bad apple to ruin the whole bunch because since the apple is gone they have done a complete 180.

This pharmacy is absolutely overwhelmed, and the staff don’t know how to cope. They can’t reliably receive prescriptions from doctors, and there seems to be little hope of picking up an urgent prescription the same day. If you have a choice, choose somewhere else

Yesterday I called in refills for my daughter's prescriptions. The time I was told they would be ready for pick-up was 1:00 p.m. My wife went in at 5:00 p.m. and they still weren't ready. They prescriptions were also supposed to be on the automatic refill in the system. They were not. Today my wife and I had doctor's appointments at 10:30. At 11 our doctor called in our prescriptions. I called CVS at 4:30, they were not filled, but was told they would be ready in 10 minutes. We went into the store 30 minutes later. Mine was filled, but my wife's wasn't. The pharmacist then proceeded to yell at customers waiting on their prescriptions saying everyone needed to stop standing around and go shop throughout the store. Very rude and unprofessional. Easily the 10th time our prescriptions haven't been ready by the time we were told, and still not ready many hours after said time. My family will definitely be switching pharmacies.

Drive thru never open. Noone answers the phone. Highly recommend looking elsewhere. Unless your idea of a good time is waiting in a line that reaches from the back to the front of the store with only one register manned at the pharmacy. I mean, it's the last thing I want to do when sick but to each their own.

Apparently they can't or won't hire more help. Pharmacy hours fluctuate with no notice. Spent over an hour on hold to try and reach someone, gave up, and went to the store to find they mow close at 4 pm. (I arrived at 410) absolutely ridiculous.

Pharmacy staff is incredibly rude! It’s the standard procedure at this location. Unfortunately I have to use this pharmacy due to insurance requirements or I would absolutely take the advice of the manager herself and “go somewhere else”

This place is ridiculous! The pharmacy staff are rude and unprofessional! Takes too long to get RX filled and don’t bother calling them unless you’re prepared to wait over 20 minutes to speak to someone and they also make prescriptions difficult to transfer. Never again!

Don't expect to be on hold less than 15 minutes if you try to call. I've hung up after waiting 20 minutes at any given time. When they do answer they act like it's such an inconvenience to have to talk to someone. Any time I've been in the store there have been multiple people behind the pharmacy counter, not sure why the service is so poor when there's plenty of people.

Great location for those of us in the western side of the county. Courteous staff and fantastic manager. I believe they've become the busiest pharmacy in town and could use more corporate funds to hire more people. Any delays are not the fault of the staff or management. They hustle and work hard, but remain safety oriented, friendly, and give the hometown feel needed in a county population growing faster than the infrastructure can keep up with.

I've been to this pharmacy several times and wasn't thrilled with the service of the pharmacy staff each time.Today, I waited 30 minutes for a shot and one person jumped me in line because I hadn't checked in for my appointent person despite having checked in on my phone promptly.With other options in town, I won't be coming to this location again.

The pharmacy is always randomly closed . The drive thru is sometimes closed even when the pharmacy is open. They rarely answer the phones. Sometimes the pharmacists are sick and coughing without masks as they deal with customers.

Takes forever for the pharmacy to answer the phone! Each time I have to call, I have to be prepared to sit on hold for atleast 20+ mins and that IF they don’t hang the phone up before I can even talk to someone. Wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy 👎🏽 I’ll be switching to Walgreens.

Missy was beyond helpful when we dropped off wrongly marked packages for UPS drop off. Not only did they contact us letting us know they were wrongly marked, they went as far as to helping us reprint the label and attaching it to the new box. Thank you for helping us out at PMI!

I've had nothing but positive experiences at this location. When I've forgotten to pick up a med or needed one filled quickly, they have been accommodating. I appreciate that they say hi and recognize the frequent visitors.

The store's item selection seems a bit limited compared to other pharmacies, but this location offers a lot of convenience by offering walking accessibility, as it's located on Charles Town's main street.
