Best burger! 🍔 Seriously- cooked perfectly, juicy, perfect flavor/toppings, excellent bun. They have a limited menu for lunch but everything is great! They have a good market for local produce, breads, canned goods, beverages, etc. A must try! They just added more indoor seating too!

Hidden gem! Stop by here for lunch if you can. The special sandwich is most likely worth a try, or get their burger, they're supposed to be amazing.The shop has a little bit of everything - chips, beers, frozen pizza, frozen soup dumplings, and instant noodles from Momofuku.There are a few bar stools inside but if the weather is nice, have your lunch outside, around the side of the store at one of their tables.

This was hands-down the best burger I've had in a long time. No lie. I had their house burger. It made me smile from the inside out. I would definitely recommend this place!! And they have some neat stuff to buy in their market.

I came here for the burger and it was everything I hoped for. Nice bun, great char on the burger but beautifully moist. The add ons just gave it outstanding flavor. The ham sandwich had a great little kick and had outstanding flavor. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful.

The menu is small, but it’s a great example of the old adage, “quality over quantity.” After hearing all the rave, my wife and I stopped in for a burger. We decided to try the Italian as well, so I ordered it and she ordered the burger and we shared. Both were excellent. I was very surprised by the Italian after hearing so much about the burger - from the bread, the meat, to the toppings, it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. The burger also lived up to the hype. Absolutely the delicious.

A friend of mine has a cabin nearby, I never would’ve happened upon this place if it weren’t for that. Very cool atmosphere, unique market, and without exaggeration, the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had in my life. It’s worth the 90-120 minute drive from DC just to try the House Burger.

Had been hearing about this place for a few years, finally had a chance to try the house burger. Folks weren't lying, it's really really good. The burger was well prepared, and the toppings are a nice and flavorful mix. If you're looking for a great burger you can find it here for sure.

Saw the Farmer's Daughter in a post about best burgers in each state a year or two ago. Marked it as a place I wanted to go if I ever got to northern WV and, on Saturday, I finally made it. Small market/butcher shop which was very nice. I would love to have been able to buy some of the sausage but couldnt as i had no place on the motorcycle or a way to keep it refrigerated. If you look at their menu you'll see they do pretty much do 2 or 3 things. Well the post I saw this place in didn't steer me wrong! What a perfect burger! Hand pressed and cooked perfect...little crunch on the outside and perfectly done on the inside. The Dukes Mayo and picked onion gave it perfect tang and bun was amazing. As a guy who uses burgers as a baseline for restaurants, I can say it's definitely in the top 1 or 2 burgers I've had. Obviously taste is subjective but I don't think any burger folks would be disappointed!

The hamburger here is excellent. I also loved the meats we picked up. The cold-smoked pork chops fried up to be super tasty. The staff is helpful and nice.I can't wait to visit again ans try more items.

Truly outstanding burgers here! If you are tempted to "add this" or "remove that"... resist the temptation. They are fantastic just as presented! A bit of lettuce, pickled onion, and Duke's mayo. I've had a dozen or more, and I have never been disappointed.I've tried one or more of their other lunch specials, and every visit has been a success (except the ones after the 3:00 PM cut-off :()Very happy to have this as a local business!

I attempt to support small businesses within my community. I've tried to support the Farmers Daughter since they arrived in Capon Bridge. The fodd and meats are good but prices have really gotten out of control. I've accepted the fact that this place is for unsuspecting tourists, who are in the mood to stop and have lunch. The lunch menu is pretty good and I have had one of the burgers which is also very good. Sure you get the whole, "look at me, I can cut up meat" experience you wont find in big box stores. There are a lot of good farms in the area where you can pay half for the same quality. pricontrol. I wish Farmers Daughter all the best with their continued support from tourists. Its unfortunate you are not able to support the community who supported you when you were trying to get the store off the ground.

The burgers here are truly sensational, world class even. I love burgers and have eaten many of them across the country, and I don’t remember ever eating any quite so good as this. You should be warned, however, that while the butcher shop is open from 10-6, they stop serving lunch (burgers and other sandwiches) at 3.In addition to the delicious food, this shop has a nice selection of groceries and drinks presented in a really cool hipster environment. This place gets 5 stars all day, I really can’t praise it enough!

Stopped there on a motorcycle camping adventure. Asked for two Ribeyes... those boys are serious. Had to be 24 oz. each (maybe more) - barely fit on the firepit. Excellent meat and really nice people!

I’m new to this area and exploring places. This is a great find for me! For starters - when I walked in the aroma was so delightful I was in heaven. It very much reminded me of butcher shops from when I was a kid where you had the butcher the baker and the candy store within walking distance. And that was New York City. I rather doubt that exists anymore but here have a butcher shop like I recall - with all sorts of yummies. I’d already had breakfast and it was early so did not get anything for lunch but did get some potato salad and pastrami to eat later in the day and both were delicious. This is a place I will go back to frequently. And I should’ve said this first - the customer service was absolutely fantastic. That for me is a most important part of a business.

Is this the best hamburger in the world? Having not tried all the hamburgers in the world I can't say yes or no to this. Is this the best hamburger I've ever had? Absolutely! Flat out delicious. A very good bun, lightly pickled red onion, well seasoned patty, gooey cheese, lettuce and mayo. I recommend adding an extra patty if you're the hungry type, the normal size will fill up a lot of people though. Also have had the Italian Standard Sandwich (weighing in over 18 ounces) and a Roast Beef and Cheese Sandwich (equally large) and they were outstanding. It's worth the trip for sure (90+ minutes for me)

I stopped there for lunch and I had the house Burger and it was the best burger that I ever had. It is really worth the stop if you're going through stop and have one of their burgers. A little on the pricey side but it was still worth it. They have an assortment of meat in the butcher shop and some other Dairy and other products you may need.

We had a burger and the special, which was house made pastrami. Both were delicious. We appreciated the outdoor tables. The store has a butcher counter where we purchased some Italian sausages and some breakfast sausage, both made in house. There are several specialty items in the store along with some craft beer and wine. It was a delightful experience. Highly recommend.Update:. Cooked the Italian sausage and if was perfect. Seasoned well and very tender.

As soon as I walked in the front door, the smells were absolutely amazing!! The smells draw you straight back to the deli. All local meats and produce. Today, I had the House Burger, it was perfect! Their dry aged beef that they use, was cooked to perfection. So juicy and flavorful. Topped with American cheese, picked red onions, shredded lettuce and some tasty Duke's mayonnaise. The service is wonderfully friendly and helpful. A very welcomed feeling.
