Awesome little store. Excellent for the things you forgot or don't want to drive to Winchester for. Lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes and onions. Always fresh and delicious. Lunch meat freshly sliced to order. If you need a quick bite this is the best place for that. Did I mention the cool hardware store you can't beat the prices. Save fuel and some cash.

I have stopped here several times I. The past 2 months and have found the market to be convenient! We ordered food twice and it is acceptable. I do not feel it is all that fantastic but it will do in a pinch.As far as the pre packaged items such as drinks, chips, snack cakes etc, they have a decent selection!They are open 24/7 so it is convenient when we leave hunting camp late or arrive early in the morning!If you find this review helpful, please click on the thumbs up button at the bottom!

Best subs around! They are HUGE!! Have been coming here for 25+ years just for the subs & big roll of Longhorn Cheese. Subs & Deli items are all reasonably priced. Beer coolers are always stocked & ice cold. The other items in the store are a bit pricey but it's a convenience store...your paying for the convenience.

This place is just amazing 1 stop shop for pretty much anything... Nestled in the valley and it shows they have an array of items at a very affordable price. The staff are kind and friendly they make you feel like you're home...The lady on night shift was just great professional but personable hardworking and helpful to boot... I will most certainly make this a regular stop on my way thru to Augusta!!!

First time stopping in, in many many a year. Staff was friendly and very helpful as it was late and we didn't really know what was good etc.... They directed us to some yummy selections and one lady even helped me find my newest obsession, Nemo's orange cream Bundt cake! 🤤🤤🤤🤤

I love this local store. Been going here many bvb times a week for the last 7yrs since I moved here. They always have good respectable young men and women working here. Very helpful. And they carry a veriaty of different products. Its bailed me out of a few nightmares when I needed plumbing supplies and even some parts to fix my chimney. They have so much here. And dont leave without looking at all the animals mounted on the walls. It's like a museum!Anyway great place. I would always recommend this place. The owner must be on point because the store is always 100% as far as I am concerned. Keep up the good work guys. If I notice then others do too.I wish more places were still like this. A++

Stopped here for gas and snacks while traveling. I was surprised by the wide variety of supplies available since I had assumed it was more of a mini-mart type of place. The cashiers were friendly and the bathrooms were fairly clean.

I highly recommend stopping in here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner to everyone that passes through Capon Bridge, WV. The sub sandwiches (hot and cold) are the best I have ever had. They come loaded with meat and topped just the way you want.

Friendly employees. Deli is great! Only downside is the breakfast sandwiches in the warmer. Soggy fake egg on just plain sandwich bread that is also soggy and not worth eating. I've also noticed that if the price tag on an item says one thing, it will ring up higher at the register.

Deli sandwiches are good here. Things are a little pricey here compare to lager convenience stores but not out of control.

Updating my review. CVM has 5 star customer service. Every shift has helpful and courteous people ready to check me out, help me find something or teach me the rules of the lottery (lol). The store gets only 4 stars for two reasons: 1- The price of convenience here is astronomical. I'm talking $8+ for a small block of cheese, $1.80 for a 5.5oz can of cat food, $6 for 6 tampons. $1.25 for a single roll of TP. These items are always expensive at a gas station but seem prohibitively so at Capon Valley Market. 2- They used to have the BEST pizza in a 50 mile radius and THE BEST breakfast pizza on the face of the earth. Tragically, the recently started using a new crust on both & it doesn't look like they're ever going back to the original crust despite the fact that the new crust makes the pizzas inedible. They're not just "not as good" as before. They're now the grossest pizza/breakfast pizza ever. The new crust is thin, but the strange gritty garlic flavor is the issue...and I'm a fan of garlic! I could go on and on about how sad this change on their menu is but I think I've made my point. Every time I walk in to CV I stare mournfully at the pizza rack (where an entire pizza or more will inevitably be sitting, because no one with taste buds is purchasing it now) and long for the days when Capon Valley Market's pizza was phenomenally superior.Those are the two negatives. I'm still really thankful we have this store in our community. The employees are wonderful, the deli has a great selection of tasty food (just not the pizza😩), their fountain drinks are DELICIOUS as well as nicely priced at $1, they rent out Rug Doctors (and the only place in town that does), and they have a place to get hunting and fishing licenses if that's your thing. 4 solid stars.

We always stop when we are in FROM PA. to us the subs are a delicious bargain. We were disappointed this weekend, we bought two subs one for ourselves, and one for another couple. They were identical except we had mushrooms, we also got sick. There was what we percieved as a new employee working the deli, we requested that the lettuce, tomatoes, etc. be wrapped separatly from the meat. Half an hour later we arrived at our destination. The roll was the consistancy of a wet sponge. We will stop again next trip, barring a repeat experience, this will continue to be our go to place. For us, this was not the norm, we believe in second chances. Bill and Marg.

The store is a little pricey except,the coldcut subs here are huge,right around 3 pounds fresh and delicious, and only 6 bucks,really big subs,i know people who travel over 50 miles just to get one.I always nake that stop.

If you live in Capon Bridge, this is the best market ever. If you don't live in Capon Bridge, but you do like fried foods, Trump, and taxidermy, then this place is pretty awesome. Otherwise, it's a market/gas station that's worth the visit just for the experience. BTW, go alllll the way to the back.

They have a wide variety of good food, snacks and drinks. A very friendly staff that will take you on a tour of splendidly prepared taxidermy wildlife from many countries, in the attached hardware store.

Best cold cut sandwich on the planet.Be sure to check out the attached hardware store. The owner has done big game hunting and has many trophies hanging on the walls inside of the store.

The owners daughters husband helped me one day when someone left 2x4s on the hogback coming in to capon bridge and I hit one, and it went into my tire sidewall xx he didn't hesitate in helping my daughter and I that day!!!! They are good people...I would recommend to anyone leaving West Virginia or coming into it...to stop and see them....thx

Every month I go here an sometimes twice. Between the pharmacy, dollar store,gas station, Greg's restaurant and the other restaurant that serves 🍕 pasta,salads,subs an more. The people round here are like family an treat you with the utmost respect

This is the place to go. Love this place. Staff is friendly although the owners are really snobby especially the wife with her nose up in the air. But I always go here and food is great. Prices are ok. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good deli but you have to avoid any food that is in the most back section besides cooler items and chip items they will sometimes have out dated food but if you aviod that the rest of the store has good food and they have a really cool animal display in the tool section
