We stayed 3 nights the cabin is in a beautiful location and was nicely appointed. We did have a few issues that were taken care of right away, Jody the maintenance guy was great and Harmans made things right. The one thing I would like to see them add is a blind or curtain to cover the all glass entrance door.

We recently stayed at Harman's and hosted an intimate wedding reception in their new pavilion after our ceremony at Bear Rocks (Dolly Sods). The grounds and the views at Harman's are absolutely beautiful. The cabins are gorgeous, clean and cozy. I could go on for days about how wonderful our stay was, but above all, the staff at Harman's is second to none. They are welcoming and friendly and just all-around great people. We couldn't have asked for better on our wedding day, it was perfect. Can't wait to go back!

What a wonderful place! Beautiful views of the river, comfortable beds and sofa, lovely little front porch. The grounds are kept perfect and the staff in the office are kind and helpful even as they struggled with tech issues the week we were there. Actually everyone we came across were friendly and helpful. We spent a full day at the river down by cabin 15 which was the most accessible entrance. Truly amazing. There is a common area on the river with very comfortable seating which was perfect for morning coffee and evening firefly watching. We will definitely be back. Here's the reason I didn't give 5 stars: although there is AC in the cabin, it is a wall unit in the dining area - which is fine during the day, but doesn't help cool the bedrooms at night. Most nights were fine with windows open, but if it doesn't cool down outside the bedroom is too warm for me. Another thing to be aware of is the seating on the porch and around the fire pit - although they look very cool and rustic and match the aesthetic of the cabin, are uncomfortable because you're essentially sitting on logs. Lastly just be aware that although the kitchen is stocked well with cookware, and a couple of coffee pods for the morning there is nothing else. Bring your own salt and pepper. Was it a big deal? Not at all, but I wish I had known to bring it. Overall it was fabulous - four and a half stars even - but they need to make a few tweaks to get to five for me.

Very nice cabins. Peaceful and very relaxing time. Located within 45minutes of many hiking and waterfalls. Do have some great hiking trails right on site

Had a fantastic time here with the family. The view of the giant rock cliff and the river is absolutely spectacular, and you can enjoy it from the comfort of the cabin! We went snorkeling in the clear water and enjoyed watching all the trout swimming around us. The hike up the cliff is VERY steep, but the view at the end is definitely worth it! The staff that I came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend visiting this place!

We loved every minute. My husband fished, we walked, .built a fire in the fire pit and grilled. The jacuzzi and rain shower were great. The cabin was spotless. The beds comfortable. The staff was very kind.

The best cabins are across the bridge. The only downside is that if you are a couple, you'll be sleeping in a queen. The views are great but the river is mainly shallow around cabins 11/12. You'll be able to swim in the river up by the entrance. Can't speak for the fishing as I don't have the patience to fly fish. We stayed in Cabin 11 which was just great. I have no complaints. They do have a lot of rules but the rules are what makes it an enjoyable experience. Very quiet besides the occasional vehicle driving down the road. The cabins are in what is called a dark zone what does that mean? You will see all of the stars, if it's clear.

This place is way over rated. I've been all over the world fly fishing. I will tell the owners "it's no Jackson Hole". The stream is like wading on bowling and basketballs.. The fish don't stay there either,that's why they gotta stock ofton. Then they hurry you up to get out very rude!! Watched us pack and I left 5 minutes early on purpose. Maids need to learn how to clean. Nice cliff and lots of fisherman and people,like a city in the trees. 2 stars at best.

My husband and I stayed this past weekend in Cabin #8, one of the two bedroom, newer build cabins. Everything was great. The folks in the front office were very nice. We loved the location and the privacy. The master bedroom is gorgeous! We will definitely be back!

We went to Harman's Cabin for a fly fishing trip. The cabins were nice, clean, and right on the river! We hired a guide through Harman's. We highly recommend our guide, Lucas, for both first-time and experienced fly fishermen. He's very knowledgable. He taught us a lot and put us on the fish! We had a such a great time that we went back again a few months later and made sure to request Lucas. It was just as wonderful the second time around! -Debbie & Al

I can not even begin to describe how wonderful our stay was at Harman's cabins. The pictures do not do these amazing cabins justice, they are absolutely gorgeous! We will definitely be coming back here in the future to do some hiking around Dolly Sods and Seneca Rocks, as well as using their creek for some awesome fishing.-@prettyliltraveler

Always a great time at Harman's Luxury Log Cabin. This is my second time staying with them, this time I stayed in Cabin #5, and they always have everything to make my time there so enjoyable including bonfire pits, hot tubes, a complete kitchen, updated bathrooms and this time I even had an indoor jacuzzi. My favorite part about the cabins are their location to Dolly Sods and up to Seneca Rocks for some great hiking. There are also a few trails on the property if you don't want to drive.Photos by @prettyliltraveler

First time for us staying at Harman's. The cabin was exactly what we expected. Everything was perfect. Too bad I do not fly fish. Great opportunities all around us on this 2 mile stretch of river. We hope to make this a yearly tradition!

Fishing at Harman's was a great experience. The cabins were beautiful, nicely equipped and very clean. The fishing was easy to access and full of fish. The only thing better than the fishing and cabins are the people that work there. They were very accommodating and enjoyable to work with. It is a great location for larger groups. I am looking forward to going back next spring!

Look here listen this log is housing a person who openly has said that she wants to murder someone's family and children and the establishment is downplaying the matter. I know for sure that I won't take my kids that are from another man that I'm raising for love, to this place. Like hawnestly this establishment should be ashamed of themselves.

This place is absolutely amazing & so beautiful! Vacationed here over Labor Day weekend with my boyfriend & we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. I highly recommend this place! We have friends who want to join us the next time we book our stay! Can’t wait to stay again!

Would been a 5 star but I felt it lacked the “luxury” as the name stated. And it was just the little things I couldn’t get over. Cabin porch leaked. Knob came off jacuzzi. Cheap toilet paper. Maybe some are “luxury” but didn’t feel our or the ones like ours was.

Cabin 19 allowed us to bring our two dogs. The cabin was very comfortable for 6 adults. The South Fork of the Potomac was beautiful. We fly fished two days and enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommend.

We love going here. It’s beautiful. Romantic. You’re in nature with streams and mountains and rocks and trees. The fireplace, and king bed and kitchen. Double head shower. It’s perfect. And the people who run it make you feel special, important.

Went for my honeymoon. Very beautiful views, super secluded. Had to drive 10 min for FM radio and 30 min for cell service. No one can bother you. It's a very nice private getaway

At first quite impressed. Then construction equipment went by the next 2 days. No coffee for coffee maker, Keurig machine didn't work. Hot tub only 1/2 the jets worked. Left a nice tip for the maids, it wasn't their fault. Left a note to please fwd to management, and my wife wrote and mailed a note. Guess management does not care. Self proclaimed LUXURY should indicate ammeniities work. A hotel room supplies coffee.

John Denver’s first two words in the song country road (1971) were “Almost Heaven” and West Virginia truly is!! We stayed at Harman’s and it was absolutely 5 star all across the board from the cabins to the friendly people and especially Tim Caudill and his protégé Lucas Powell were just such a pleasure to learn from and expand our knowledge of fly fishing…..these guys are so friendly and so caring and they don’t talk down to people and truly love what they do…..the whole trip was phenomenal and we are so thankful to the kindness from everyone at Harman’s (BTW the fishing was awesome!!!!
