This hotel is amazing! I'm from hours away n did my own vacation, n this hotel topped any hotel I've been in so far! Amazing view, rooms very clean n nice, heated pool, free breakfast, this place is honestly the best. N to think I was worried about bugs or it being dirty! Nope this hotel is clean n very nice. So glad I came across this one 😁 I will be back.

The room looks like an old hotel room. The wallpaper is torn on some corners. The bathtub is full of rust on both inside and outside. One of the lampshades is broken. We advised the front desk so we don't get charged extra for the damage that was done previous to our stay. The TV satellite doesn't work. The wifi is not a secured site. Extremely disappointing for the $$ we paid. We have taken many pictures to show how bad this room is. The wall paper is coming off in hallway area.

Accidentally booked a room in the wrong city. Called to cancel the booking the day before and could not reach a manager as their front desk representatives said they do not have the authority to cancel rooms. Waited the next day to contact the manager when they were available and manager refused to cancel my reservation. Stated they would still deny my request to cancel regardless when I had contacted the manager. So now my family will be traveling an extra 40 minutes to make it to a venue we have to be at at 7am when we won’t be checking into the hotel until almost midnight from traveling. Poor customer service, the manager absolutely is a selfish inconsiderate person. We cannot afford to lose funds being charged for a room if we don’t stay at the hotel and find somewhere closer, so we’re stuck having to settle. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

This is one of the best and cleanest motels I have ever stayed at. Some breakfast they had was cooked perfectly. I had actually left a cord and a charger behind, So when I called and asked about it, they put somebody on it real fast, and made sure that it was still there. The staff was so kind.Rooms: The rooms were very clean neat and smelled like they were just cleanedFood & drinks: I enjoyed the breakfast there, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, milk, and everything was so clean

This hotel has been a staple for me while I've had to travel for school. The staff and friendly and I've always felt safe there traveling by myself as a woman. The cook is so nice in the morning and always makes sure everyone has had enough to eat, I definitely look forward to seeing her when I stay. The price is reasonable and the place itself is well kept.Safety: The parking lot is well lit and it's in a good area.

My husband and I purchased a voucher for a one night stay through half off deals. We went to make a reservation today, and was told they aren't honoring these vouchers. We are out $$$, and the owners do not want to do anything to make it right. I would never recommend booking a stay or anything else. If they are doing bad business to us, they will do the same to you.

I stayed at this property over the weekend. I was woken up at 1:45 am by what sounded like someone trying to force their way into my room. Luckily I had the top latch on the door. He kept trying to open the door even after he realized the security latch was on. finally I yelled out and he left. I later discovered that it was a front desk employee.He said someone was checking in and that my room was showing vacant in the system and he was checking to see if it was clean. The next day when I was checking out, I was told by the front desk that the nightshift person said that he was sorry. He said that my room was showing vacant in the system and he was trying to put something in there for his brother. A completely different story from what I was told 9 hours earlier.Needless to say, I didn't get any sleep. I had a 5 hour drive ahead of me. I would avoid this place like the plague.

This is one of the best quality bargains you can find in central WV! While traveling through there I always try to stay there. Nice clean rooms with excellent staff. The view is great. Is fairly near to the VA facility. Has a nice convention center attached for your event. It is a pleasure staying there & has never disappointed me.

I couldn't have been more underwhelmed with a hotel that should have been nice. The man at the front desk was the only pleasant experience I had. He was very helpful and kind. Now, on with the first thing I had noticed. The elevator toward the back of the building is in dire need of repair. When it is about to stop it makes a horrible noise which frightened my children and myself. I couldn't let anyone in my party bathe because the nasty rusty bathtub. The closest door was broken. All of the machinery was WAY outdated. Everything from the keycards, sink, toilet, and coffee pot were outdated. The most disgusting part was the food left in refrigerator from the previous person! Not to mention the pool there was little to no chlorine and I had to make my kids get out of the pool because of it. I have stayed in cheaper hotels that were cleaner and more up to date. This place is in need of renovations.

Nice room, very clean and comfortable. Fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Heating/cooling worked great! Bathroom spotless, nice hot showers with good water pressure. Nice heated pool, plenty of lounge chairs and pool towels. Good breakfast with gravy and biscuits, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit etc. Would have really liked the addition of eggs. Great stay, would definitely stay here again.Food & drinks: Great places to eat, or get takeout within a minute from the hotel.

Great beds, good breakfast. The only thing I'd recommend to management is to please have the front desk staff to not wear any perfume or cologne. Someone had such a strong scent, I didn't even want to eat down stairs as it lingered in the lobby and I have terrible allergies. I don't think they realize how strong it is. : /

When we arrived in the room there was only a few towels, the toilet paper was just about gone on the roll, there was stains on the wall and floor, the floors were dirty. The bathroom floor has tons of dirt build up in the corner of the door. The pillows had tags on them that were from 2018 and were horrible, not enough blankets. The swimming pool had so many kids in it due to a birthday party and no one came in to check the water to make sure it was ok. The rooms smelled. Only thing good was about the place was the location it was in.

Loved everything!! The employees were nice and helpful, and went out of the way to be helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great, and the employee by the way I wish I could remember her name, was great and made sure the food was fresh and hot, she went out of her way to help me. Checking in and out was easy. The pool was clean,as well as the grounds. Overall I had a great time and I will stay here again. Well worth the price 👍👍

Checked in on a Tuesday rented four rooms was told on Thursday evening that we had to move to different rooms because they had rented the rooms that we were in... Front staff was incredibly rude. When asked why this happened was given that it wasn't her fault and the entire exchange was very confrontational even though all we asked for was to stay in the rooms that we originally had rented and she said they had been rented out. When asked if there would be any compensation for the inconvenience of wasting our time was told that it wasn't her problem and that we needed to speak to a manager who wasn't available until the next day. Overall the hotel was nice but the front desk staff was incredibly lacking in manners and the fact that I wasted my free time with a confrontational human being caused me stress and made me not want to use this hotel for rentals for future bookings.. The whole time that we were there the lady made it sound like it was our fault, when it was a clerical error. when we pointed out that all we wanted to do was stay in our rooms, she was confrontational. now we have several more days and have been moved to downgraded rooms without compensation of any kind and not even so much as an apology for the inconvenience.

From beginning to end I was unsatisfied with my experience.At check in we were placed on a different floor from our family. We asked to be moved and was told there was no availability. Must have been to much work to pull him from the lounge TV to accommodate us.Family members has rooms with mildew growing on bathroom door.At breakfast I kindly asked for a chocolate milk for my son. Which apparently warranted a sigh of disgust and a curt " I'll get it when I get it"At check out I wanted s receipt. The clerk yelled across the lobby for me to drop my room keys. I got another glare and something mumbled to stand there and wait for a receipt.It us good that I got the receipt as the hotel charged our families incidental card again for an online booking.Those charges will likely need to be cc disputed as the manager still has not called

Nice clean room with very poor internet (dial-up is better). Manager has something against nurses especially for night shift nurses. They come banging on your door while you are trying to sleep to tell you that if you don’t check out by noon they will charge you for a whole night even if you are leaving around 5 that evening. Then a couple hours later the housekeeper comes and knocks on the door even with the do not disturb thing on the door. There is no communication with the staff and who are in the rooms, they even double booked a room leading to another nurse not getting sleep and being treated poorly like she was squatting there. Definitely will not go back. Not fun working a 12hr shift when you only get a few hours of sleep.
