It's location is ideal just off of the beaten pathway of I-5 in Lakewood.The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The cooking facilities are great...a word of caution....if you don't want to set off the smoke detector (like I did twice), open the window and turn on the stove hood.A shout out for Moana,Cristy, and Laura A. in Housekeeping the best. All three manager at the front desk were great.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The rooms were clean, the grills on the back patio were nice but most of all the staff was friendly. Rainie is your best associate by far(the others were great too). She helped us with whatever we needed, sometimes even without asking, and she is extremely polite. We stayed almost two weeks, and we felt like she was one of the family. I'd also like to shout out to Beth(the Bartender) same goes for her. She was also such a sweetheart.

My go to hotel in the area. Friendly and professional desk and housekeeping staff. Rainie is very courteous and will go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit. Rooms are clean, modern, and well kept. Housekeeping even did my dishes from breakfast once. This hotel has several amenities that are always clean and available, and the on site gym is well stocked. I will continue to stay here on business trips.

TownPlace is a great hotel to stay in if you are visiting Bridgeport town. The hotel is nice and clean and has many amenities. The staff is welcoming and nice. The breakfast is great but only during the weekend, it’s has less options during weekdays. The room I had was nice and clean. The location is very convenient and close to retailers, restaurants and grocery stores.

My wife and I were going to spend several weeks in the Bridgeport area and had arranged for a furnished house before we arrived. However, that rental fell through the week before we arrived. So--on to plan B.We ended up staying at the TownePlace Suites for several weeks, and I have great things to say about this hotel! First, we were at this location for an extended stay, so we were able to meet all the staff and interact with them on many levels. Tina, the Sales Manager, helped set us up for our lengthy stay, and she was a delight to work with. We picked this hotel because we needed a place with a couch and a kitchenette. We picked the Marriott brand because we love how the rewards work with Bonvoy over the other choices available.The hotel is clean at every level. During our lengthy stay, we were in 3 different rooms, and each one was spot on. The kitchenettes were well stocked with cooking and dining equipment, and more appliances were available to "borrow" from the front desk. As a bonus, grills were available on the back patio, so cooking for ourselves was a snap.The hotel offers free laundromat services. You have to provide your own detergent. But that's a really nice perk!They do a great job with breakfast. Emily is the absolute best, as are the other ladies who ensure we are well fed for the day! (Emily is the only one I knew by name.)I'd like to mention a few staff members, who made our stay enjoyable. Shiela at the front desk offered us plenty of smiles and kind chatter, and I always appreciated seeing her when we walked past. Jaime was also a delight! She went out of her way to meet our needs, and I'm soooo glad she was the Guest Services Manager. And I wouldn't dare submit this review without mentioning Kristen with housekeeping. She made our stay so comfortable, and I'm really appreciative of her attentiveness.#todaysdiscovery #traviswinmanauthorRooms: Our rooms were well stocked with all the items we needed for an extended stay. The cookware was clean and good quality.Nearby activities: Almost all of the commercial, food, and retail for the city of Bridgeport and Clarksburg are located within blocks of this hotel. It's convenient to Emily drive and all the shops. Loved the little efficiency room. I know it might be important to others but to me, I Love a light and outlet in both sides of the bed. This one did. Plenty of room to work at the desk, couch was comfortable..room didn't get 5 because toilet didn't work well and tub has black and loose caulking

Everything was clean and lovely. Would stay here again 10 times over. I did think it was odd that housekeeping tried to gain access to my room on the last day of my stay at 10:50AM even though I had on the do not disturb sign. I said I was not ready yet through the crack in the door and she responded "Well it's 11 so I figured you'd be checked out". Checkout is at noon and I had stayed up very late the night before working. I was still laying in bed relaxing before getting on the road again.

My family and I stayed at the hotel this past weekend we had a problem with ants in the room in a drawer next to my daughter's bed. She found them shortly after we got in the room, the staff gave us spray to kill them and we thought it was taken care. My daughter went to sleep that night and woke up with ants all over her. We sprayed again and told the staff. They told us they didn't have another 2 bedroom suite available so they couldn't switch rooms. We continued to battle the ants the entire weekend. When we went to check out of the hotel we were told there was no manager available on weekends to compensate the stay in any way that I would have to email the general manager, I tried that and it was not a good email address. So I called the hotel and spoke with the manager and the first thing he said was ants are attracted to sweet things like it was our fault for the ants. Then he said what do you want me to do about it, I don't feel he has very good customer service skills, he did give us a night back on the credit card but the sarcasm in his voice and the way he talked I will not go back there or recommend anyone go there. We have stayed there before and didn't have any problems, so I was surprised that it was this bad this time. I think there should be a manager available on weekends of a problem arises. It would be good customer service. And also nave better management not to sound sarcastic when speaking to customers.

We stopped here overnight while driving from Washington DC to Louisville Kentucky with family. The two bedroom suite was perfect since we were traveling with young kids and needed extra space. Matt at the front desk was super helpful and made sure a crib was set up for us before we arrived. The room was incredibly clean and recently remodeled. We couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely stop here again.

So the front desk staff is nice, the room is comfortable but badly laid out: I mean my couch faces the bed in the same wall as the TV… so no relaxing and watching TV..Other fun thing was breakfast. They are calling it fresh, when it is bagged(frozen/reheated) and just instant with hot water. Sorry but that isn’t fresh.Overall it met needs, but those little quirks will probably stay elsewhere in the future.

Everything was so clean and the room was spacious. We stayed here on thanksgiving day and all the restaurants were closed in the area. Special mention to Matt who was at the front desk made calls to all the restaurants in the area and handed over a list to us once we settled in the room. It was a great experience. We will stay here again!!

Of course nobody will reach a 5 stat rating with me but this place is a 4.8 with me . Had a few days work they're in Clarksburg with another company employee. We were bundled to save on cost. But this time was different this room at the Marriott had two separate sleeping quarters with a large flat screen TV in each room, with their own doors to shut for privacy. A bachelor style kitchen complete with cooking utensils pots and pans and tableware. A living space with a couch and easy chair large flat screen TV. Very private and quiet.

Kudos to Sheila for being so sweet. She was on triple-duty handling the front desk, breakfast, and busy cleaning the common areas.Hotel is clean and easy to access from the highway. Fixing my wife's review the hotel is great nice size room 2 beds a kitchen even has a table and desk. Big screen TV the place was a little dirty the bath tub and kitchen needed a little cleaning but I cleaned them and the bed spreads had some stains but the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Only 4 stars cause of a big mis understanding with my wife and reservation lady. But the general manager is a nice guy helped us out. Staff is really friendly
