I really enjoyed the hotel. Upon arrival, your warmly welcomed at the reception. There was no problem with parking at all. As you walk through the hallway, there's a wonderfully fresh scent. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. And the bathroom was well stocked with the necessary towels and above all, clean and fresh. All in all, I think this is a top hotel.

Older building with small rooms and cramped bathrooms. Nice and clean, as others have mentioned. The area is not the best, but there are many restaurants within a five minute drive. Convenient with easy access from the highway. We had both a good and bad experience with staff: At 8:55 am, a housekeeping lady just unlocked the door and walked into our room. Fortunately, I was dressed, but my husband was just getting out of the shower. She didn't apologize and just said I'll come back later.The man at the front desk when we checked in was not too friendly, but the lady that served us in the little restaurant was delightful. She also cooked breakfast and did a great job. The freshly cooked breakfast was a nice change from the usual hotel fare. Mixed feelings on this place so hence the 3 stars.

One of the best.. Best Westerns I've stayed in. Our family enjoyed the pool as it was super clean and plenty of room to sit back and relax. The restaurant inside wasn't far from the pool so we were able to bring the food to the table when we took a break from swimming. Many restaurants nearby and beautiful mountain views when you walk around the hotel. Everyone working there was super nice. Oh, and I loved their new coffee machine...cafe mocha was my choice anytime I wanted one. The rooms were amazing as I stayed in the Bridgeport suite with an amazing hot tub! I highly recommend staying here!

The room was pristine. Had a great shower and comfortable bed. The lobby area was beautiful. It has a great bar and restaurant inside with great prices. There is a beautiful exercise room also and a great coffee maker in the lobby. Literally the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed at and we are diamond select rewards members and have stayed at a lot of them. Will definitely stay again when passing through.

This review is to give kudos to the Best Western Bridgeport Inn and special thanks and shout out to Bob who works there and who is a wonderful employee who Best Western is lucky to have and hope they are taking care of him. Again, this place and the staff are amazing and Go WV!Noteworthy details: Highly recommended to all who need to stay somewhere in the area!

The place was good enough. But they don't have unlimited breakfast buffet like most other comparable hotels offer. They only have 3 options for breakfast and you can only pick one. On top of that, if you sit in and eat instead of taking it to go, then you are expected to tip! So the "free breakfast" advertised seems a bit misleading. I would have preferred a full breakfast buffet as found elsewhere.

We have stayed here twice during our road trip homeward bound from Myrtle Beach back to Hamilton Ontario. This is a good stopping point for rest after the long drive, makes the last half of the drive safer and you are well rested. Hotel is clean, front desk very friendly, polite and helpful. Overall great experience for the stay and rest needed. The morning breakfast has two options, free options or use the coupon for $4 off a bigger meal.

We had an issue in the restaurant. I made it clear i have celiac disease and cannot have gluten. I ordered a meal that was gluten free with a side of mashed potatoes and a salad. First the salad came with croutons which I told the server was not good ( I picked them off) then the dinner came with gravy on the potatoes which is a definite no no. I told the server and he took it away. It took 15 mins to replace. Meanwhile my husband got his dinner and he ate really slow to wait for my dinner to return. He was half way thru his dinner before mine arrived with Luke warm potatoes. The server was overwhelmed because they were busy. A 2nd staff member would have helped. Overall we were very disappointed. We had looked so forward to staying there as we have loved it in the past. We will not be back unfortunately.

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and hands down, this is the best stay I’ve had! The front desk, Stephen truly gave me the best service I’ve experienced. The breakfast was phenomenal. DJ and Tunisha served us two eggs, bacon and toast which was included with the room. The juice and coffee machine was fun for the kids. Truly a great experience! From now on, when I’m in clarksburg, I won’t be staying anywhere else!

Annoyed. Soda machines were sold out. Juice down stairs was turned off which comfort inn doesn't do. Rooms were small. And I work nights and housekeeping knocked on my door twice. They know I was there on CLC and they still bothered me within 6 hours of being checked in. Why would I need roomservice 6 hours into my stay?Walkability: Location is nice other than the bar across the street attracting some of the most finest of the area.

Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was not the usual continental breakfast. You could order from the restaurant and had a selection of three different breakfasts that were free or you could get $4 off anything else. This set up does expect you will tip the waiter, so breakfast really isn't a free breakfast as claimed on their website.

It is a beautiful welcoming hotel. The check in staff were very friendly. The dinner in the restaurant was huge!! There was a terrible odour in our room...like a damp carpet just as you walk in. Bathroom was very small you had to close the door so that you could use the toilet. Overall the hotel was clean and staff were very good. The cable/satellite reception was terrible. Wifi was good. The bed was awesome! Had a fantastic sleep!

This is a consistently satisfactory experience. The staff is attentive and friendly, the rooms are clean, well appointed, and comfortable; the linens are top notch. In addition, the in-hotel restaurant is a step above expectation. We have never been disappointed in the breakfast or dinner offerings. The menu is diverse though limited to a degree, the food is well prepared as well as presented, and the staff is attentive. No hesitation in recommending this establishment.

This was our second time here & that says a lot! Rooms are clean, staff is great. Coffee is on 24/7!Usually most hotels have a complimentary breakfast, this one doesn't. A neat little restaurant is inside. Menu is priced moderately.Close to many places to shop and a little grill/ bar within walking distance.

Very clean hotel. Staff is friendly. Unfortunately breakfast was closed for the day. Notice was posted however did not state reason(s) for being closed for the day. Felt safe and the entire place was very clean. Big plus , they have smoking rooms which is very hard to find as most hotels are smoke free. For being in a smokers room , when entered the hallway and room had a very fresh scent and you could not tell it was a smoking floor. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay. Located very close to shopping also.

We’ve been using Best Westerns strictly for a while now and they rarely disappoint. This one was nice, quiet and located in a good area for shopping or eating out. The room was nice and comfortable. The hot tub was definitely nice. We would stay here again for sure.

The pet fee was way to high. The coffee was awful, no listings of resturants or take out places, no paper, pens, tv guide. Refrigerator froze things... halls smelled terrible. I will give 5 stars for the beds, very clean and comfortable.

The room was very clean and very nice. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Even the coffee in my room was good (I usually don't even bother with coffee as it tastes like they scooped it from a mud puddle). The price was more than decent. This is probably the nicest best western I've ever seen and I've been travelling for a living for the past 12 years. If I am ever in the area again, this will be my "go to".

I called to make a reservation for a room with a Jacuzzi Tub. I paid and had the room booked. We arrived went to get the key and was told which building it would be. We found it and carried everything up the stairs to the room. Walked in and was shocked at how small the room was and had no Jacuzzi Tub. I called the front desk notifying them that this is definitely not the room we had booked and paid for. Thankfully there was a Jacuzzi room available and the guy working made it right and moved us to the room we originally booked. But also meant We had to carry everything back down the stairs to the truck and drive to the office to get the new room key and directions to the new room. It's confusing with the different building and numbers but we eventually found it and it had an elevator thankfully. I'm grateful the guy working the front desk was able to accommodate us by fixing the mix up. He was friendly, informative and very nice. I absolutely loved the room! The room was so big very spacious and so nice. The Jacuzzi Tub was big it had waterfalls,lights. It has Two TVs, a microwave, a small fridge, a sofa, end tables, stands, desk, chair, closet, ironing board and a chest with drawes. The bathroom was nice not big but big enough and it had a shower. The shower was small and the little part to put soap etc did not hold anything it would always fall off. Sadly as great as the room was I do have a few complaints. I actually ended up cleaning the filters to the the portable air conditioner and the regular air conditioner they both needed clean filters. With us both having bad allergies it was disappointing that I had to do that but necessary so we didn't have an awful time in the room. The fridge must have been bad or something it had a very, very, thick layer of ice from top to bottom. It did not keep our stuff cold at all and it needed cleaned. We actually had to get the cooler we had in the truck to bring to the room to keep the stuff we had cold. I was disappointed when I went to make coffee the next morning. There was a used bag of coffee still in the coffee pot and the compartment where you add water was dirty with white stuff in it. The cleaning staff should know better!! To clean everytime someone checks out! Especially with there being Covid and other Variants. To leave someone else's used coffee bag inside the coffee maker and not clean the coffee pot/fridge is unacceptable! So my Bf had to go to the front desk which took some time to get there to get me a cup of coffee. I always bring my own sheets/pillows. I didn't notice anything wrong with their bedding stuff I just always bring my own. We Loved the room I just wish the cleaning people would take pride in keeping the rooms clean. If not pride at least care because they do get paid to do so. We lost time being in our room relaxing due to the room not being correct the first time. And If you pay for certain things in the room it should be clean and functional we should not have had to use a cooler or have a dirty used coffee pot.
