Enjoyed most of a day at Pinnacle Rock State Park - plenty to see and lots of hikes. Some trails are a bit tricky to follow, but it’s beautiful throughout. Beware of spiders, we ended up carrying a stick to lead the way and clear the paths of webs and spiders. Would highly recommend a stop at the Corner Shop in Bramwell after for ‘the best milk shake in WV’Restrooms: Flush toilets. Pretty clean, but old.Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly throughout (not sure about the lake side of the park)

This place was so freaking cool! There was so much to do here we didn't get to explore it all. I will definitely come back. One thing to mention is that the main pavilion, picnic area, and playground is handicap accessible. The rest of the park is not. The fallen rock trail ( I think that's what it was called)..is very rocky..just a heads up to the peeps with knee trouble, the homestead trail is much easier! Happy adventures friends.

This place is VERY beautiful! There bathrooms were locked, but other than that everything was spectacular. They have several picnic tables inside and outside. They have a fireplace in by the picnic tables and I thought that was very cool! I absolutely loved the rock scenery.

Beautiful. Short visit, small area. We hiked around the rock. I would visit again if in the area. The view at the top is exceptional and the primary reason for a visit if you don't mind the climb.

Amazing! A beautiful state park located just outside of Bramwell! It has a decently long hike to get to the overlook, but it's so worth it! It was so beautiful! You then could Go under the rock, and it is huge!Playground: There is a nice playground just beside the shelter, that has a swing, and a rock climbing.

My family and I really enjoyed going here! Ample parking, is ha dicap accessible up to the playarea and picnic shelter, has trails to go on, has a kids play area that has a mini version of the rock which I though was cute, and bathrooms. They had a picnic shelter that looked like an old log home that stayed cool and had a nice breeze blowing through (not air conditioned or indoors). If you are able to I would definitely suggest the Overlook Trail! The views are absolutely breathtaking!Playground: Single swing and one handicap swing so kids might have to wait their turn. Has a mock rocks for them to climb on which is cute but that's it.Restrooms: Clean and what you would expect at a park.Picnic area: Plenty of places to sit both under the shelter or under the trees. Has grills to use at each one.

Drove from Richlands Va to Mercer Co West Virginia. Pinnacle Rock State Park is such a great place for picnics and hiking. The scenic views are breathtaking. For a peaceful place to stroll and take in nature this is the place to go since it’s never overly crowded at any one time and there is no charge to go there. There are clean bathrooms and running water

Very nice small park, I love the rock formations, the hike up to the top is a little bit steep but manageable, the overlook is so well worth the little hike, I love taking my camera for sunrise shots early mornings, Awesome sunrise is there

A wonderful roadside stop along Rt 52 in the“ find your heaven” state of West Virginia. Ample parking area with old stone pavilions for picnicking. There are three trails that can be accessed from this end of the park, the more popular overlook and falling rock trails are short and gain access to vistas. The Homestead trail will access other intersecting woodland trails which some will lead to Jimmy Lewis Lake. It’s a substantial out and back hike to lake so pack a lunch if taking this one on! The overlook trail vista is pretty cool! It gives you a birds eye view atop the massive rock structure that draws your eye along Rt 52 and once in parking lot. The vista overlooks more of cascading mountains of the Blue Ridge mountain range and even on cold days the trees are releasing enough isoprene to reveal why and where its range name was derived from! I know..isoprene..google it..it will enlighten you I promise:)

Very beautiful place to visit any season but especially during the fall the colors are really beautiful and it highlights the Pinnacle Rock the groundskeeping staff are very friendly and more than willing to talk about the place and let you know facts about it.

Crazy huge rock just sitting on the mountain, its truly unreal how it formed or grew or w/e rocks do lol..few trails to walk, we only walked up the main one at the entrance to the top of the lookout and the steps are all pretty much straight up so you'll have to catch your breath at the top its worth it tho we had alot of fun.

Great place to stop for lunch in covered gathering area, stretch your legs and climb the trail to pinnacle for wide beautiful view. The park is pristine with easy parking next to highway.

My husband and I did some trail running on the trails below the actual Pinnacle Rock formation. The trails are lovely and take you past some old abandoned home and farmsteads that are neat to check out. Up at the Rock, there is a stair/trail that you can follow up to an observation platform and take in a great view from the Rock.

We were the only ones in the park, so it was very peaceful. We hiked Falling Rock Trail and Pinnacle Rock Overlook. Both were worthwhile.Restrooms: It was nice to have bathrooms with running water.

Great outdoor park for picnic or trails, not much for the kids to do, only had a very small swing set for kids. The hike to the overlook was steep but well worth all the steps to get there, the view was incredible.
