The folks here are so welcoming and inviting! If you want a great location, central to the historic district of the iconic Bramwell, Home of the Millionaires, you will find no place better. We stayed in one of the 2BR apartment suites and loved the small-town hospitality that so many places lack nowadays. I highly recommend Main Street Suites anytime you want to hop on the Hatfield McCoy ATV trails or even just get away for a relaxing weekend visiting the beautiful coalfields of southern West Virginia.

Avoid Mainstreet Suites at All Costs!If I could give Mainstreet Suites zero stars, I would. My stay was nothing short of a nightmare.Not only was the hotel disgustingly dirty, but it was also infested with bed bugs. I woke up covered in bites, and the thought of it still makes my skin crawl.To make matters worse, when I brought up the issue with the owner, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. The staff were unhelpful and seemed unfazed by the problem, which only added insult to injury.It's truly sad to see such a promising location being tarnished by the neglect of the owner.Save yourself the trouble and findaccommodations elsewhere. This place is a health hazard, and the owner's attitude towards guests is appalling.

The owner of this establishment was very rude. After misreading the sign out back, we accidentally parked in the parking area this weekend. There was a sign that said “parking for main suites guests only.” We genuinely thought that meant guests of the shops of Main Street, and had no clue the “Main Street suites” was some kind of place to stay. As we parked and got out, the owner was standing there just staring at us, with a very disgusted look on his face. I felt very uneasy. I finally asked if we were doing something wrong. Very rudely, he said, “did you not see the sign there?” I explained what we thought and he went on to argue back and forth with us, like we were intentionally trying to park there. I asked him not to be so rude and he just argued saying he wasn’t being rude. My 17 year old son even said he was so rude. A very simple “hey guys this parking lot is reserved for guests of this hotel” would have been enough. We would have kindly left. I would never return to check out this establishment and would suggest others to stay away!!

Sure it is in a decent location but the owner (at least the one I met) is very rude.We ACCIDENTALLY parked in a parking spot that was only for the suites guests.Which I most definitely understand not being allowed to park there.That wasn’t the issue, after we pulled in someone (we didn’t know but then told us was the owner) just stared, he didn’t even say anything until a minute or so later we asked if we were doing something wrong:He then proceeded to ask if “we didn’t see the “big” yellow sign” ) not that big but anyway.It said something like “for suites guests only”Which we mistakenly thought meant all the stores in the same building.Anyway I don’t think I’m a king that can park anywhere he could’ve just been like “hey guys this is just for the guests that are staying here”So keep this in mind when you book, also they wouldn’t refund someone who got sick right before they could come:(

Me and the wife have stayed here several times and love the place. I’m aware it is under new ownership now and I’ve spoken with the new owner and nothing has changed. He is a very nice gentleman and has kept everything the same. Very spacious rooms, full kitchen, living room, and plenty of sleeping space. Just like home as far as I’m concerned. Several eating places close by and trailer parking for trail riders.

Well we booked a room 3 days before we planned to come stay a Saturday night. I came down with the flu last night and got my wife to call and cancel our stay and the owners would not help up out and still charged us for a room we never stayed in. I think it’s poor management and greedy to do this to someone that has the flu. Trust me I would rather come spend the weekend with friends and family than have this nasty flu alreast you can do is give us some money back.
