We drove 3 1/2 hours to eat here, we love the grill, and the town is beautiful. First time seeing it decorated for Christmas, and it didn't disappoint. We also were there on the night of its first Polar Express night !!! The food was exceptional as always service has been better, but we believe it was due to new staff and the crowd.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great meal. The apple pie ice cream is amazing. We were too full to eat it there and they packed it so that it would make our hour trip home (which it did). This place takes you back in time not only with the food and atmosphere but to when customer service was a priority. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Place was a true gem... a throw back to a great time in American history, the local Soda Fountain. The staff was so friendly, the food was an 8.5. If you're going to do American classic burgers, dogs, and fries, you better do them well, and this place does them better than.... extremely good quality great tasting food. A must if you're in the area. Mandy, the manager, was so welcoming and a wealth of local knowledge.

Lots of great memories from my childhood here. Stopped in and had a Vanilla Coke, tasted just like I remembered. Glad to see The Corner Shop still going strong after all these years and continuing to make memories for all that pass through my hometown.

I couldn't resist after reading the sign claiming the best milkshakes in WV. The facility was clean. The staff was friendly. The food was good. Visiting this place is like traveling back in time. I was amazed at how well it was preserved. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

An amazing experience all around. A lovely step back in time, even an original Coke made the old fashioned way hand mixing the syrup and carbonated water. And the person who made it and our milkshakes was the perfect employee, so knowledgeable about the history of the place, and the most pleasant personality. Forgot to get her name but she wore glasses and had been working there for four years. Will definitely be a stop everytime we go trail riding! 😊

I always enjoy the food and ambiance of this quaint throwback soda fountain. Great food and the embracing of the old school decor and diner motif makes it a must to stop and enjoy. I can't wait to see it featured on America's Best Restaurants very soon!!!

We loved our visit here. Felt like I was back in time (before my time.) Root beer floats at home will never be the same again. These were delicious. Our waitress explained how there soda fountain worked and how it was unique. Employees were awesome as was the atmosphere. We will return.

I love this place and will be visiting every time I'm in the area, from now on. The food and atmosphere is AMAZING! There was a long wait for the food, but that couldn't be avoided, due to the massive amount of diners that were there. The waitresses are absolutely adorable. They were all dressed in 1950s clothing and wore aprons. They looked like little dolls! There were lots of very reasonably priced souvenirs.

Took a drive down to southern WV for the Bramwell Spring Tour of Homes and had lunch at the Bramwell Corner Shop and without a doubt it’s a hidden gem. Service was a little dicey to start, but in their defense, it was probably busier today that almost any other day for the small town. We ordered the chili slaw burger, chicken sandwich, bacon cheeseburger (no bun) all with fries. Everything was delicious. The toppings tasted fresh and the housemade sauces were excellent; especially the jalapeño sauce. The chili slaw burger had distinct flavors and the fries were fresh cut. As someone who typically doesn’t like jalapeños, I was surprised to find the breaded ones on my chicken sandwich were not too spicy but had a great flavor. Honestly one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. The buns and croissant were fresh and nicely toasted. The restaurant itself also features house made ice cream and soda from an antique soda fountain. Sadly, we’re so full we didn’t get to try the ice cream.

Random stop for me, drove about 20 mins away from my original destination to give this place a try....WORTH IT! The burger was so good, hot, fresh, good bun and all the trimmings. Get the onion rings, simple but good. Will definitely return. Not the best pic but I'm telling you so good!

We just happened upon this blast from the past soda shop/diner in a small town in the beautiful hills of West Virginia. The food and shakes were delicious and reasonably priced, the service was great, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere was awesome. It was like stepping back in time.We’re already planning out next visit back.

The Corner Shop is a quintessential American shop. Stop in and take some time to look around. And make sure you stay and eat something! I ordered a chocolate “slurgy” (milkshake) and my wife ordered the “Cookie Monster” malt. Both were incredible. We shared a pepperoni pizza roll, which was extremely good. If you are in the area of Bramwell, definitely stop by.

An awesome little restaurant with delicious food and the best milk shakes EVER!!! The servers were great and we even met the owner who was very kind and friendly. Loved the atmosphere with the photos, memorabilia and candy from back when I was a kid. We made a special trip back to the restaurant before heading home to Florida just to buy some old fashioned candy for the grandkids and grab another delicious milkshake.

Nostalgic restaurant in historic district. We had delicious homemade burgers and fries. They have a fun menu, cool souvenirs, and candy. The banana split I ordered was the size of the Titantic and was absolute perfection. Ask for Biff. He is a great server and also creates artistic ice cream sculptures!

Great food and great people. The waitress recommended the "Cookie Monster" milk shake and it was delicious. Burgers were huge and delicious also. Highly recommend.

I went here for lunch and was greeted immediately by the waitress. I was new to the area and didn't know what to get and the waitress was happy to recommend some of the popular items on their menu. I went with the james dean burger with a side order of fries. Everything came out fresh and hot. I will most definitely be coming back here to try more of the menu.

We went to the corner shop for the first time today. My husband had the Betty Boop barbecue sandwich and he said it was pretty good. I had the Joplin chicken with jalapenos and special sauce. Our french fries were stone-cold and we were very disappointed in that. And my chicken sandwich had way too much sauce, it was just coming out everywhere and it was a total mess. The waitress was just as kind as she could be and I really enjoyed talking with her.

I was visiting Bramwell from New York. I stopped in this resturant. The waitress we had was less that Pleasent. I ordered a burger. Not once did she ask me how I would like it cooked. It came with a side of shoestring fries. The fries were not only overcooked they were in small disintegrated pieces I could not eat without at least a fork which was not provided to me until I asked for it. I also ordered a hot dog which arrived at the table first and was cold. My guest ordered a turkey club with a side of Mac And cheese. The turkey club came but not the Mac and cheese. When the Mac and cheese finally came it was all Mac no cheese. From the time we sat down to the time I got my meal it took 40 minutes. My guest wanted to get up and leave but that’s not my style. I did tip the waitress handsomely but she did not deserve it. She felt we were somehow a bother to her. The food was average. I have never been treated so shamefully. It appears if you live in Bramville and are known to this resturant in this beautiful town you are treated well. But if you are a tourist avoid this place because they don’t want visitors in their town
