From the very first call to the office...all the way through to the end of my service call, Mountain State Locksmith proved to be courteous, professional, knowledgeable and reliable.The mechanic broke my "one and only" key off in my car's ignition during a routine repair. I did without my car for almost 3 weeks while we tried to figure out the repair route to take (as using the VIN# to get a key from the dealership was not working).Once I contacted Mountain State they assured me that their locksmith could complete the extraction of the key and the cutting of another key. He did just that in a timely and professional manner.Thank you Mountain State!!!

My boyfriend and I were in the middle of moving to Florida, right before we left we realized his car key was missing. We called other companies with no answer or were told they couldn’t get us a key in a week. Called Mountain State, she got some basic information from us and we had our replacement key in 15 minutes. We drove to pick up the key from their office to save on some money, but from what I understood they can come out to you as well. The women were SO nice and helpful. They made a disastrous situation have a silver lining! Thanks to Mountain State locksmith!!!!

I can only leave this review regarding the service I received on Saturday for a door unlock. My review would be: Highly Recommend!I was in town for a regional football championship game and decided afterwards to do some Christmas shopping. My final stop was at my favorite store, Gabes! I was on the phone when I was getting out of my vehicle and despite having my keys on a huge keychain and reminding myself mentally not to lock my keys up, I locked them up anyway lol!I contacted the sheriff's office who advised that they could no longer perform a door unlock. The UConnect app on my phone was not working and their customer service had closed hours earlier. My extra key was almost two hours away. The dispatch worker at the sheriff's office gave me the number for this locksmith.The guy who answered the phone was super nice and gave me an estimated time frame of arrival for 15 minutes. He arrived on time, was professional, was able to take my debit card, and was finished in less than 5 minutes.Very thankful someone from this business was on call that night!

I called this company yesterday, and left message on answering machine. They got back with me in less than 2 hrs. Made appointment for next day. Dustin showed up right on timeAnd was able to repair my lock and handle. Saved me over $150.00 if I would had to buy new lock. I definitely recommend this company.

Locked myself out of my car late on a Saturday afternoon. Called Mountain State and got ahold of Dustin. He informed me that he was on his way with a time estimate. He was punctual about his estimated TOA and got me on my way for a fair price. Highly recommend this company.

Shady company that does low quality work. Go elsewhere!!!The install staff was super polite however I felt there was a general lack of communication between me and the company regarding pricing and when the person was coming out. He installed what I thought was going to be relatively cheap locks ($30 a piece) and I still somehow paid over $400. I wouldn’t recommend this company due to their shady price gouging.Update: 2 out of the 5 locks this company installed are already somehow broken and will need to be replaced. Don’t use this company. You pay for low quality.

They gave a 30 minute time of arrival and took about an hour and a half to get there. That's the only reason I can't give 5 stars. However, once he did finally arrive, he unlocked by door in less than 5 minutes. Also, the price was very reasonable (less than going through insurance). I would recommend.

Very disappointed to be leaving this bad review. As a business owner myself, I take pride in guaranteeing the work I provide. Unfortunately this business does the opposite. I chose this company in March of 2018 to perform window tinting on 23 windows/ doors of my business. The total for this was $965.66. As anyone else, I am perfectly fine with paying for quality work, however within 7 months of the tint being applied, the tint on my front entrance door was peeling off. The business was contacted at the time of the issue. Once the tint was peeling bad enough, the business sent two techs out to remove it. Not stating with me prior to the service how much this would cost if anything. I was charged $222.60 for the removal of tint on my front business door that would not have been removed had it have held up to quality. This is not the only window having issues either. But it was the worst. There is tint in my shop from 11 years ago from a separate company that I have had absolutely no issue out of. It’s a shame that this business does not make it right to a customer when the quality of the work was obviously not there. This business was contacted multiple times in an attempt to resolve this solution and the only response was a dissatisfying, distasteful comment that nothing would be offered to me for my concerns. In the opinion of my salon this is no way to conduct business and the public should be aware.

Wanted to say thinks to Mark and Mountain State Locksmith & Safe Services. Mark was the only locksmith to answer my call on a Sunday when I was traveling out of town and lost my key fob. Mark came out and was super helpful. Although he didn't have the correct fob, he stayed until he found someone that did. Mark was very professional, responsive and incredibly nice. Would highly recommend you use Mountain State Locksmith

Seriously these guys where incredible. Picked my wife dog and me off the shoulder of 71 after my truck broke. The driver Chris who came to get me was beyond friendly and helpful. When we got back to the shop the owners were still there and were incredibly sympathetic and went as far as to help us find a motel for the evening I'm telling you if you need something from these guys they come with first class service

The keys to my moving truck were misplaced by the moving assistance helpers, and Budget Truck Rental didn’t have a spare key, and basically by only option was to find a local locksmith to make a new key using the 26 ft truck’s VIN. The owner, who I worked with on the phone directly, was SO extremely helpful- at a point in time that I was basically desperate. My personal vehicle was not an option to drive an hour to pick key up and drive back, and not only did he charge me an EXTREMELY reasonable price of just $30 to make the key, he actually had one of his staff members drive it all the way from their office in Bluefield WV to my new rental home in Radford, VA - for a very affordable delivery fee. I’ll forever be grateful to the owner of Mountain state locksmith and safe’s owner and staff who saved me from a potentially VERY expensive catastrophic situation.
