This location is around 2 miles from our home. My friend and I usually go to the one in VA that's just super close to our home, but some times we come to this location too to hit up sales and clearance. The last time we were there a member of management was very rude to my friend and I. We were stopped at the front when we walked in and told we couldn't carry our purses into the store, that they would have to be kept behind the register. There was no provocation to this, we go there frequently and have never had an issue. It was said in front of other customers who were walking in at the time. They were not asked to keep their purses behind the counter. It was very embarrassing as she did not say it quietly. Our purses were not oversized or anything, I know stores frown upon that due to shoplifting issues. I'm really not sure what we did to provoke this. I think rules should be for all customers, not just the ones they pick and choose. If there was an issue we should have been taken to the side and spoken to not chastised in front of other customers. Also, we weren't comfortable with leaving our purses behind the counter. Were they just going to sit them back there? Were they going to lock them in the office? How would they be protected from possible theft by employees (not that we thought any one of them would do so, it was just the principle of the thing)? What if the employees had to leave the counter area, were our purses just going to be sitting there unprotected? It just didn't seem like a reasonable request so we just decided to leave. Needless to say, it's a very nice store with management who were not so nice. We will not be going back to that location.

Just went to this dollar store and was treated with the worst most unprofessional customer service I've ever had! Both women working were very snappy and rude acted like it was a problem for them for me to shop there then I get to the register they had to work it together tried to take ring up my gift cards told me if for any reason they didn't work I'd have to contact the company but not bring em to the store then tried to give me change for a $20 instead of the $100 bill I handed her! I felt like they was constantly trying to rob me
