They have a good selection and some good deals if you watch. They do offer a lot of incentives that are not very good to get you to use their credit card so you have to pay back extremely high interest unless you pay it off in the 1st month.

Went to two different customer service lines to check out. The first lady ignored us for several minutes, then walked past us before asking “can I help you?” smugly with an attitude. We left and went to another register that took care of it, but the first left a sour taste in my mouth.

During my recent visit, they were very understaffed. I actually walked around the store twice looking for women's coats, because the line at one of the two open registers was so long, it blocked the section I was looking for, and because I didn't see any associates that I could ask for assistance. And, when I did find it, the lack of variety in style was disappointing.

The Mercer mall that Belk is located in is small and just kinda bleak to go into, Belk was an okay store and had nice clothes and jewelry. There weren't many other places to go in the mall, though.

Horrible experience at the checkouts. Visited this Belk recently, July 6, 2022, with my out of state house guest. We spent at least 2 hours shopping children and ladies clothing, shoes. Really enjoyed our shopping trip UNTIL CHECKOUT TIME! Good luck finding a cashier to help you. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE particularly in the ladies and men depts. And when you do find one, you will stand in line for 20 minutes without the cashier ever calling for help, before you finally give up and look for another cashier. This made the 3rd attempt to get checked out. I would have just left the store without making this rather large purchase but they were gifts from me to my guess. I think I will choose to shop elsewhere in the future. I've actually received more courteous,, quicker service at a Walmart. LOL!

Love this Belk!!! Everyone is super nice and very helpful when I come in the store ❤️ had not been shopping in there in a long while, it was good to see the Store well-stocked and ready for Christmas shoppers, can’t wait to go back for after Christmas sales

The most helpful/knowledgeable Estee Lauder counter I've ever been to! They are so nice & helpful and really know their stuff! The store is clean and bright, one of the only professional looking stores left in the mall.

The place looks insanely filthy even though I've seen men on multiple occasions vacuuming every inch of the store and cleaning in general. Some of the employees are very rude, not most just some, worst of which is the lady I think is store manager, especially to her employees.When I went there one time I witnessed her yelling at some older employee for leaving the checkout to put stuff up. I don't see a situation where that's appropriate, because the other option is to let stuff pile up in the way.Walking the store can also be a major chore because of how unbearably HOT it can be in there. I don't know if their A.C. is messed up or what but of the times I've been there it's been cooking.All in all, considering that department stores like this and J.C. Penney's are in a lot of ways the same and there are both in the same mall in this case, I'll just continue going to Penney's. I can not recommend Belk.

If they are Not closing their doors for good, it would be a Suprise. Shelves are mostly empty and they have a bad habit of offering 50 to 65 0/0 off but No price marked.

Happy with my products but not pleased with the staff. The estee lauder rep was not friendly and had rude remarks. If i didn't like the product so much id have left and purchased nothing that day.

Amazing store aleay in tiptop shape everyone is very helpful and I know its negative but I alway wait for that bad experience but nope no matter what this by far my favorite store to go into even if I'm not buying anything just to put me in to a great mood.
