Cleanest bathrooms for miles in both directions. Great homemade pepperoni rolls, chili, and fried chicken! Great snacks and sandwiches too. Picked up a Carmel pecan scented candle that is heavenly. Been driving this route for years. Always stop here.

Fantastic little place. Food was great. As a Minnesota visitor on 04/10/24. Those girls are a "hoot". Our good friend Rick Petersen has a cabin near. So happy the first place we stopped was closed. Somebody needs to make sure those girls are paid very well. Employees can make or break your business!!!!! Or get recruited and you will be the loser. I would love to give 10 stars if I could. Kudos 👏

There chicken is as good as homemade. Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Just the way I like it. Excellent service, Linda was nice as was the clerk up front. I get gasoline here all the time. They have the best pricing for everything. Well worth going to Omps Grocery Store.

They have great food and service. We live in the area so we take advantage of their take out service. It is so nice to be able to call in a order of somebody else's cooking and not having to drive twenty -five to thirty miles to pick it up. For us they fill a very necessary niche. Can you image needing something right now whether it's food or some kind of hardware and having to go to town and get it. Thankfully Omp's owners and employees are always there for us. They are our nice and dependable friend's and neighbors.

While working last evening we stopped at Omps Grocery to get something to eat. We were kind of in a hurry because of working and the nicest lady says I have some Chicken ready. So we got 2 dinners and it was the best Chicken. In our travels we love stopping at country stores and this one is one of the best. So Skeeter's Autobody and Towing gives you a A+

I love this little station. Has such a small town country feel. The farm fresh burgers and freshly made soup is to die for. The grease from fryer is never old tasting. Nice staff.

Love love LOVE their fried chicken! I always stop to top off my gas tank when I'm on that side of the mountain because their gas prices are so low and I can grab a decent snack or a hot meal.

Stopped in for lunch. They serve hot and cold food to order. Got two cold cut subs that were stacked with meat and very good. People were very friendly and it was a nice country store. Already planning to eat there next trip. Update. Out sightseeing and stopped in for some gas and munchies. It's hard to beat the people in a little country store. I have always been a people person and enjoy talking to others. The people are so friendly here, they joke and carry on with you like they have known you for years and that makes it a joy to stop in. Most people at places you stop in just DEAL with you in a just give me your money way. These people enjoy what they do and are not afraid to show it. Its a shame we don't have more people like them today. A smile and kind words are so refreshing and maybe a few more people should try it. They might surprise themselves. Thank you so very much for the kindness you so easily show to others.

This is a lovely, fully stocked country service center with groceries and great home cooked food, easily located on the road to everywhere in Bloomery, WV.Still locally owned by the Omps family.

Great old fashioned country store with very friendly workers and the best fried chicken I've ever eaten and I've eaten a lot of fried chicken in my 60 years on earth haha.They also have gas at good prices.They have much more homemade food for takeout and I'm sure it's delicious also but I love fried chicken!

I have been a customer at Omps Grocery for many years. Linda and Randy have filled some big shoes. Linda has done a great job keeping the feel of the mom and pop shop while integrating some new concepts. Lena and Carroll were awesome people and will be sorely missed.

I really like this place; it has the nicest people in the county working there. Very friendly and helpful - we always stop going to and coming from Cumberland. Be kind to yourself and stop by for a visit.

In the 60s we spent weekends and summers in Paw Paw, WV. A must stop both heading to or leaving was at Omps. For us kids it was snack and soda time. The proprietors were outstanding. They knew the vast majority of their customers by name. If memory serves me correctly the son was named Carroll and was the primary family member running the store.I hadn't thought of Omps Grocery in well over 50 years and am both amazed and pleased Omps has stood the test of time.I've just reconnected with my cousin and as we had adjoining properties in Paw Paw we were often stopping at Omps at the same time. Grand memories!
