I normally stop here after work and no matter the day the workers constantly ignore you, are very rude when asked to come up to the register because they ignore the bell and the line of people they always have backed up. They will even close the store a half hour to an hour early. Might as well make it a self check out place because the workers are useless

Store closed at 9:20PM on a Tuesday night. The website clearly says closing at 10PM. Several folks standing around the parking lot wondering why the doors are locked? Employees sneaking out the doors with cigarettes dangling and flicking Bics…Ridiculous!

Just depends on what day you go on what's available... Always seem to be out of what I need. Always kinda dirty... but the next shopping places are a half hour drive away.That's the only reason I why they get 2 stars-location. Some employees are great and others seem more interested in socializing than working--& some are very rude. Not hardly any other options in Blacksville or no one would go there. I had a good friend humiliated for "shoplifting" when we were there together... She did put it down on the wrong shelf-I saw her set it down &was with her the whole time- & someone else must have taken it out of the box after we left. The next time we went in they told her she was not welcome there anymore --in front of a crowd. They made her pay for it or threatened to call the cops. She paid &left just to get out of the situation. She was mortified & in tears. I know for a fact that she didn't take it. I spoke to the asst manager a week later & was told she was the last one seen on camera with it, so that's why she was publicly blamed. It was handled horribly. I really try to never go there unless it's the only option. That guy no longer works there, but it still needs a lot of work to make it a nice place. It is ran horribly.

It is always a pleasure shopping at a Dollar General. The store is always clean, the employees are always friendly and helpful, and I always seem to be able to catch a sale. I never have to look for what I need for too long, and it is always reasonably priced. It is great for a quick in and out stop.

This place is the most unorganized, dirtiest, & backed up place. There is almost always stuff out in the isle. People with disabilities would literally have to go a different way then most people because the stuff they do leave out. There are rude employees and half the time only one person even working on registers. It always gets extremely backed up and you stand for the next 20 mins. If it's rush hr youd think they'd have At least three people working but nope not this place they have two one checking people out and one "unpacking" the boxes sitting in the isle. But would have three to four people too work in the morning when they aren't even busy. If this store wasn't the only dollar store in blacksville WV they would not get business due to the way its run.

One of a kind, for sure. Nothing on the shelves, and that's just the ones you could access. All the others were blocked by push carts and boxes of junk. The only reason I gave one star was because a negative star wasn't an option. Poor excuse for a store of any kind.....even in Blacksville. Makes Bells Market look like a big box store.

And to be honest good use some better management and possibly pay a stock boy to keep stuff on the shelves but other than that usually have everything that you need

I'm tired of buying meet of any kind and its spoiled. Its a shame that companies put profit over quality. Consumer beware of the meets. Also they have a no return policy on foods. You can trade in for more bad meet. Lmao....

The workers are always overworked and usually only one person in the store always dirty shelves never stopped the poor girls that do work there during the day or treated badly by upper management that does not work at the store

Dollar General store in blacksville West Virginia is always a mess makes it hard to shop when the aisles are full of boxes and trash plus the store manager is a joke she needs taking out and replaced with someone else who can get things done plus she's rude to her sales people
