Glad to go the first time and go back the next day after my daughter asked. You have the right to take the steps you think are correct; we appreciate the safety as so many have suffered so much. A restaurant down the street was short staffed because of exposure; we love the restaurant and hope all the tests are negative with a speedy recovery for the person with COVID 19. It does show how we all need to be careful.

Jeffrey was wonderful! Super helpful and wonderful with my son. He had crayons and toys available for kids while parents shop. I'll be back whenever I'm in town!

Hands down, best Metaphysical store in the Four state area. Amazing selection of Herbs, Books, Candles and Crystals, Incense. Highly recommend. Shop proprietors are inviting and do care about the clientele that shop. 5 Stars!

Absolutely love this shop and the owners. Wonderful variety, and they're always adding new things. They support their community and other metaphysical shops, which is wonderful to see. The people here are so helpful and kind. I could spend hours here, but I'll have to wait until the pandemic is over! They have been so good about enforcing guidelines for safety, which only makes me respect them so much more. One of the best metaphysical shops I've ever been to. I live over an hour away, but I still make the trip whenever I can. So worth it.

I had a marvelous experience at this store. The owner was kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Great selection with something for everyone's budget. I live 2.5 hours from Berkley Springs but will be returning again soon with this store as the highlight of the trip!

Really don’t appreciate the attitude from the store employees. I actually watched one of the employees verbally assault a customer and it seemed to make the others customers uncomfortable as well as myself. Hopefully this review gets a response from the rude person who now has a reputation for their responses on Google. I thought cyber bullying was a high school thing!Also, you don’t have to publicly ban me from your store! I’ll save you the trouble! Wouldn’t be caught dead in there and it’s a shame because it’s a cute shop.

I have been to many metaphysical stores. I truly appreciate the selection this shop has. I was able to get a few herbs, candles, and other items I need for my practice. You do need to wear a mask which I did not mind doing.My only negative is the customer service. The gentleman working was closed off and dismissive. I plan to stop in again in hopes I caught you on an off day.

Love this place if your in to herbs and wicca this is the place. The owners and staff has always welcome people in. They have always been very kind to my family and my self. They talk with my disabled son with respect. I seen other reviews from others on here that is not true. They are never rude unless a customer has done some thing wrong if you have they well ask you to leave. So keep in mind treat others how you want to be treated.

We really enjoyed our time in portals one week ago. The owner was cautious concerning coronavirus and it's his store and he has a right to do what he wants in his store. The selection of crystals was amazing and the owner was nice. The store has a good selection of items and we may go back to Berkeley Springs just to go to this store.

New owners are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, & fun to talk to! The prices are excellent. There's a variety of things to choose from and they stock hard-to-find herbs! I'm excited and will definitely be back for more supplies! 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Was passing through Berkley Springs and found this magical spot. So many cool things, great books , great prices , and friendly atmosphere. The owner is super nice and helpful . I Definately will be back .

A must-stop every time we are in Berkeley Springs. I was very impressed with the COVID precautions in place, and was happy to be flexible with the requirements to keep folks safe. Despite being busy running a shop all on his own, the owner was kind enough to help me select the right crystal needed for a goal I had. Dont let the 1 star reviews fool you- this person is staying cautious and following guidelines during a pandemic that most stores choose to ignore.

I went here for the first time 3 days ago and loved it so much I'm on my way there again! It's a 40 minute drive for me each way , but so worth it!! I got my very first pendulum there and the owners were so helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and the atmosphere in there is truly uplifting and peaceful! They have many many things to look at and choose from. I HIGHLY recommend this shop!

Although the internet has made everything accessible to our shopping whims it's nice to know there are still physical shops that surprise and delight with their unique collections. Great staff and awesome selection, definitely worth browsing, you'll most likely find something magical to take home.

A very wonderful metaphysical shop with a plethora of affordable herbs, books, crystals, and even more to suit any metaphysical or magical need you may have. Super friendly owner. The crystals ate labeled accurately and are labeled as man made if thats the case (no fakes here!) Not to mention they do readings too :)) if I wasnt in Pennsylvania I’d visit every chance I could!

Owner is literally insane i had a mask but was made to do a candle test? The door was literally slammed on me because i was able to blow the candle out and was told to get a real mask i would not recommend coming unless you like to be harrassed about not having a medical grade mask 99% of the country my mask is fine but here they want you to have a hard to get mask be smart spend your money else where, after talking with other shop owners and some local residents they confirm that the owner is very belligerent to customers and cusses in frount of children a very unprofessional individual for someone who owns a business

if you're into semi-precious gems in all shapes and forms, you'll love this place. i saw so many stones that i have never even heard of before but am now intrigued with. i picked up a few loose, polished stones and a gorgeous cabochon moonstone ring. i saw lots of incense, some gorgeous geods, and there's lots of rings and pendants made from semi-precious stones. i think i'll be going in tomorrow to take one last look around before leaving Berkley Springs. owner is taking each customer's temp at the door and limiting the amount of time (15 mins) and number of people in the store per covid regulations

I love shopping at Portals. The owners are very pleasant, the selection is amazing, they care for their customers, ahe atmosphere is very positive. I always feel good walking in the door, and super satisfied when I walk back out a happy customer.

I’m incredibly grateful that this store has a mask policy, especially since there is such a reluctance against vaccines in the area. I feel very safe in the store, and also the selection of crystals is just amazing!!

Hands down the absolute best metaphysical shop I've ever been in. They have everything you can possibly need, and the prices are the best around for these items. The staff is amazing, friendly, and knowledgable. This has quickly become my favorite shop and I intend to spread the word.

I stopped in today, found an interesting book and an adorable baby goat visiting! The owners are friendly and know their stock, which has a large variety of stones and herbs, and a decent selection of books.

They have lots of herbs to choose from if you're a fellow witch! They also sell pendulums, candles, mini alter tables, sage, crystals, and incenses. Basically your average witch/hippie shop. 10/10 would recommend coming here to shop and for low prices as well!

My girlfriend and I were looking for large geodes and didn’t have any luck until I came here. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and helped me learn more about energy and the qualities of each stone. Thanks! I bought an amethyst cathedral for my office to improve the energy balance.
