This was a good Food Lion. They had a nice wine section which made us happy as we were on vacation for the weekend. Everything looked pretty clean, neat and organized.

Staff is always kind n help ful.You can call ahead to ordeer. They have a deli as well as a Bakery. The store is normally well stocked.

Great place to shop for sustenance, the store has many excellent selections of foods and other amenities available regularly. The Food Lion staff work hard there to keep up with the public demand for the fresh produce, dairy products, deli goods, as well as frozen, canned, and dry goods on a everyday basis. They are also very friendly and helpful finding that certain item or product you are searching for.

Nice store overall but wish it could be a bigger store and carry more diversity of items but manager is a great guy and really looks out for his customers. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I think it needs to expand its store. The added entertainment as seen in the photo was awesome!

Came into today with 4 kids with my husband. Completely forgot our lunch meat bag and called the store and talked to Troi. She was very accommodating on the phone and when I got there. As I was looking on the reciept for the things my husband had picked up, Matt (across from the cheese aisle) not sure what dept he is in, asked if there was anything he could help me with. He went though the store and talked to the department heads to find out where things were. He really went out of his way to help me and I truely appreciate the customer service I received.

This Food Lion is always clean and organized. The staff is so helpful and always willing to help. They normally always have in stock the products I'm looking for, and more. I use the pick-up option frequently. It is very helpful with small children that I don't have to go inside. I've never had a bad experience with he pickup. Highly Recommended.

Place totally lacks common civility. Using the self checkout counter at least 5 times, each time an employee sometimes two there uses intimidating Gestapho tactics by lurking behind you and watching your every move, then not even having the decency to say thank you.Didn't know San Francisco attitudes regarding theft moved here...

Good grocery selection. Better prices for Beef than closest competitor Martins foods in Winchester Virginia or Walmart. And better quality meat than those 2 stores usually. Heck always.

Great place to shop and friendly employees however things have changed more self checkouts and online ordering but forgetting a little bit about the older folks not keen on computers who prefer the friendly cashier and personal touch of caring about the customer

Traveling from upstate NY I'm going to compare this store to stores back home. 1) the Beef is cheaper here, but the Pork is twice as much. Fair trade in my opinion. Bacon cost about the same NY, PA and WV. 2) all produce is either priced the same as NY and they call it "on sale" or priced higher. Candy is roughly the same crossing the 3 states. 3) Dairy is almost priced the same, except cheese is cheaper here. Aside from the cost of food the store was clean, the staff were friendly, so much more friendly than the staff back in NY. And young, NY's young people need a good a$$ whooping, but not here, the young people are very polite, well mannered. They have both self check out and assisted check out. I did the assisted check out just to see if the polite thing was coincidence, nope, they are truly helpful and friendly. I even asked an employee where the brick cheese was, being fully aware I was standing next to it, back home it's a "duh" moment, not at this store, this young man was all of too happy to help figure out which brick cheese I needed. It was cute and refreshing to be honest. I didn't use a toilet so not sure if they have one. In my experience on a Sunday afternoon and the store being fairly busy that store was a good, clean, happy environment. 😊 this I'd the 2nd time I was driving through W.V. with the intention of going somewhere else but ended up staying in W.V. because there's something about this state I just love. I should find a house to buy and stay.

Had some food shopping to do while visiting from out of town. Friendly staff especially at the checkout. Well stocked and maintained. Clean and orderly and they have PLASTIC BAGS to carry away your groceries! The idiot governor from New Jersey is trying to save the planet so no plastic bags. Might consider living here 🧐👍

Had a wonderful experience at the Deli Counter here. Very Friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful tasting fresh sliced Ham, and Hovarti Cheese.! Also have a great selection of Gluten Free Breads.

Don’t go here if you are a tourist. Prices are way too high. You get discount with foodlion card, but they do not use their owns to help you. Other supermarkets do.

I have found all the staff here at this store in Berkeley Springs WV to be very helpful. Just today I was at the checkout and was ask how was I doing? I answered fine, but was unable to find Golden Raisins... One of the team was standing at the back of the line and said it was in isle 5,. Did I want some .... I answered yes, and told her I would prefer the Food Lion brand if they had that... She returned promptly with a box... Now that is Customer service. Thank you... We don't have another grocery store here in town... But they do a very good job. They have special ordered wine for me and I think they would order any thing that is on the main supply list ....even though it might not be regularly stocked at this store. All in all the do a good job... I was even surprised to have found Shallots here... One of my favorite ingredients...that is sometimes difficult to find... As well as small pearl onions.

They're alright, considering it's pretty much the only option in Berkeley Springs. These days, Martin's has better prices and deals. But Food Lion has most of what you may need. The staff seems friendly, and the store appears clean.

It' not Foodlion itself u need to worry about. It's the employee's that stand In front of you at the line with their phone in their hand looking at you like ur constantly a thief. I've never stolen anything. I'm so sorry I work hard and didn't put on a fancy suit before I went grocery shopping. But it's getting to be more like stereotyping, stalking and a crime to individually watch only certain ones when they come in and tell ur fellow workers to keep an eye on em while they go do something else. Illegal much ..?

Clean fresh food n veggies all the time. Help is great except lunch meat counter seems they hate to cut lunch meat. Some items fair priced some on high side. Over all cashiers are very nice and management. Ita a good town store selling grocery the old fashioned way. With exception of the deli I still give it 5 stars.

We felt very unsafe shopping here and are still concerned. Clearly, this store does not enforce any mask rules. About 50% of the shoppers weren't wearing any sort of mask or attempting to distance. Employees were better, but some had no masks, and many had noses out. I asked a question, and someone pulled their mask down to respond. The store should care more about enforcing mask regulation if they want more people to feel safe there. As of now, we'll be doing the rest of our food shopping at other locations.

Food Lion is the only grocery store in Berkeley Springs. Store is very clean including the bathrooms. Sometimes there are deals that are out of this world like just this week I got a 13 pound Turkey for 27 cents a pound just for spending $35 on groceries. Most of the staff are wonderful and work hard for the happiness of each customer. I especially notice it in the people that have worked there for years, they greet everyone with a smile and make sure you are taken care of. The staff is always on point when it comes to rotation on expiration dates and you always see a few workers checking products through the day. Only thing that ever bothers me is a few occasions with cashiers where they dont even greet me or barely look at me the entire time ringing me up because they are too busy talking to another cashier that's just standing there about personal problems, other employees or supervisors. But that is the only complaint I have because everything else is great.

Clean and maintained. Well stocked on practically every item in the store. Prices are great. And employees there were really nice to us. No complaints here. Always a pleasant shopping experience at this Food Lion location.
