I'll be the one to say it. The budweiser guy you have sucks. They have product still on the shelf dated from may this year. Tell them they need to get on that. Maybe its not the boycott thats hurting sales.

This small-town store is highlighted by the staff, headed by Mary, who is terrifically focused on customer service. Always friendly in a no-nonsense way, always ready to help. As you can imagine, staff turn-over is fairly frequent. Mary is the constant. Store is more organized and cleaner since she's been onboard. Sure, the occasional delivery cart is set aside for unpacking, but gone are the days when the aisles were blocked with unloaded carts and boxes everywhere.Like everything, it takes people who care--at every level, in every kind of job.

The staff there do their very best at keeping shelves stocked and store clean. Heather and Mary are absolutely total sweethearts and always has a smile on their faces!

There are some pros and cons.Pros:Friendly Staff / Very Curtious and Helpful.Store is clean, shelves are well stocked, and everything is in its place. NO ISSUES with staff, cleanliness, or stock.Cons:The layout of the store is a bit chaotic which can make things difficult to find. Isles are narrow giving the shoppers a "cramped" or "boxed in" kind of feeling, and the layout is a bit unstructured. There's no sort of flow to the store. The different sections/departments just kind of bounce around in an unorganized labyrinth throughout the store. It could be better organized, (which does not reflect on the staff.) Perhaps it is more of an issue for the GM.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful. That is the best thing about this DG location. The store itself is always a mess with carts everywhere but they are always short staffed and doing the best they can.

The only reason I'm giving this newey renovated store is because the floors need to be re-done. Otherwise I love the roominess of it. It no longer feels claustrophobic when I walked down the new isles.

The one across from Widmyer/close to town is always so cluttered and hard to navigate because of the inventory always sitting on carts, blocking the aisles. The one at Oakland Rd/522 south is always clean and clutter free. The only cart I've ever see sitting in an aisle with inventory was the one they were working on and diligently putting stuff away.

I've had a few issues with this storeThere have been many times I go to get something and they've told me they're out of stock or I should check out one of the bigger stores. Also I've noticed that there's certain things "out of stock" and they remain put of stock for weeks at a time. I do not understand how this is because I've seen the truck there and have been there while they're restocking and have asked for certain things and they've actually told me "I know it's an item that's in demand but we didn't order it this time around". What? It's in demand but you didn't order it. Smh

It a old store. The poor people who work there freeze in the winter and roast in the summer. Doors don't close all the way the lot is a mess. I would never go here but small town not a lot of choices.

I wish they had over head signs to make easier to find. Lack of pate cat food and paper bowls. Lots of clutter in front area near register. Just set up a discount idle.I do like that i can usually run and and get out

Workers were very sour with very snappy attitudes. Not wanting to help myself or other customers with simple questions or tasks. Nice store poor customer service (especially from a manager)

People did not wear masks and they were still going into the store. People in the store were not socially distancing when in line. They had more people in the store, I believed on the door said they were supposed to.

We have two in our small town and if the one doesn't have it the other one normally will and these are the only stores we have except Goodwill and family Dollar and I prefer Dollar General stores items more they seem to be better products at a cheaper price than the others and always great sales on the items I buy

When I see the name, "Dollar General", I think that most things are $1 or at least close to the price. Unfortunately, this is not the case. We purchased 2 bins that were not that big and they cost us $12 for both. I think the name is misleading as this store is quite pricey for what the name implies. Otherwise, they have a lot of merchandise.

Conveniently located. Easy in an out. Large selection of items, groceries to pets to household items. Rent movies, Swop grill gas tanks. Plenty of parking.

Got lots of stuff but same as any other DG. Crowded aisles not good for wheelchairs or canes . always stuff on the floors.food prices good.
