I’ve been to a lot of music shops in the US and have encountered a lot of owners along the way. Most are mediocre with an ego, very few are stellar.These guys are stellar.The shop is incredibly organized, clean, and the staff is attentive and friendly (including the 🐶).I came by the shop today for the first time to drop off my bass to get a setup and these guys were very thorough and actually seemed to care about their clientele. They have a unique selection of instruments and are very reasonably priced.Thank you for a great experience ✅

Wonderful and talented staff people. Guitar repaired in a timely and affordable manner, and I thought that six string could NOT be fixed. If they don't have it in stock they will get in the store. I made two special orders which worked out well for me. Quite an inventory for a small town store. Very glad this place exists. They even give lessons.

Black Cat is a unique music store with a variety of quality instruments, many that you can't find anywhere else, and a solid assortment of accessories. I find something useful every time I go there. The open mic nights are always a great time. This is a store that is making a positive impact on the entire community. It is well worth the trip from Pennsylvania.

Over the years BlackCat Music Shop has remained the same, and I mean that in a very good way! It has a very friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and offers a great selection of brands that other local shops don't carry. No matter how big or how small the purchase is, Adam has always been extremely helpful and has been such a great guy to deal with. I've been to other local music shops, and the experience just isn't the same. I highly recommend this store!

Adam was tremendously helpful answering my questions, and he gave me a free adaptor!!! He spent plenty of time with me, and seems to really enjoy his work. I only wish I were in need of drum lessons--I'd love to have them from him. I would recommend this music store to anyone, even if it weren't the only one within an hour's drive!
