I'm from Philadelphia area and visited here on a trip to West Virginia. Out of all the TJ maxx stores that I have shopped at, this is the nicest. They have a huge selection of toys and children's clothing. An array of homegoods. Beautiful clothing for adults. The staff was very friendly. I bought so much to take back home. Will definitely return to this one when I'm in the area!

TJMaxx always has a variety of items, great for grabbing a unique gift. Although they did not have what I was shopping for(a 100%cotton f/q blanket), I did get a nice candle. They had a great selection of summer decor items

The young lady named Ashley( redhead) was so helpful and kind to my elderly mother while she was trying clothes on in the dressing rooms last week. Thank you again for your exceptional customer service. Ashley went above and beyond to help my mother.

It's okay, when they aren't begging for credit apps to keep them in business. Don't buy makeup or hygiene based items that you would expect to have a shelf life. There's no way of knowing how old they are. Furniture is beyond expensive for cheap garbage that is sometimes broken. I've seen damaged tables, chairs, etc that were still hundreds of dollars. Clothing is okay. cookware is fantastic, some stuff you just can't buy anywhere else unless it's online from another country. Great selection of little snacks and chocolates too. But still a mediocre shopping spot for anything other than the items that aren't sold at other local stores.

Amazing blankets collection still. We always have a dun time shopping and looking around here! ETA: 8/8/2022 Cleaned out tons of "stuff" making more clear and visible showpieces, clothing, shoes et to see and purchase. 4/8/2022 Checkout gentleman was really nice and personable. The lady in the changing room had appeared to be taken aback possibly with my somewhat non-noticeable disability. I needed assistance from a male and he came in to help me and she and another lady startled were saying no no no. I can't bend down and I slid my shoes off already. I asked where a disability room is and was told to go out of changing room. It was embarrassing because I thought I had to go out to entrance to have him pull my pants off with no privacy and have him help dress me.. This gave me anxiety. I can't take clothes on or off unassisted. I rarely can get out of my home with pain anyways with bilateral severe hip osteoarthritis. She said to go to male's dressing room and I asked her to get my shoes. They didn't apologize and in fact I personally felt berated and less then. My 3 items didn't fit right and she asked 2 times about them not working. Face it, I could pick up her "eff you" sarcasm. Again, the checkout cashier was amazing:) Low inventory selection for plus size clothing, organized, clean and sanitary. I love this TJ Maxx for buying everything we didn't even know we needed that makes life a little easier and manageable. This is a good store.

Nice place to shop for velveteen clothes hangers & kitchen gadgets. Store has a lot of other merchandise that you can't find anywhere else. A fun place to browse and find out of the ordinary items that you will love!

The sales people are great and very helpful. I was in town to attend a funeral, and the ladies were so helpful. They offered to assist me find the clothing I was trying to find for my family. They also offered things I needed like shampoo and conditioner, finger nail polish and remover. It was a great shopping experience.

12-20-2020 - I usually enjoy this store but today maybe due to Christmas there was just nothing there to choose from and then you had to wait in line for a long long time just to get in to to end up getting nothing at all. I'm still giving this a 5 star the because it was Christmas time and the Covid-19 was handled excellent in this door as well as maintaining a only that amount of people as required. Excellent job.2018 - This is a great place to shop. Excellent prices. I've been back serval times this year in 2018.

I love all stores in this group, but i'm large lady there is only one rack of women plus clothing? Not enough selection dishes, one lane. Very smallstore. I go 2 to 3 times a week in order to see any new items.

Great T.J. Maxx! They always have good quality items for less than you can find them at other places. It's also a nice place to meet up with the family right in the middle of Beckley when we're coming from opposite directions. If you haven't been to this T.J. Maxx, go check it out!

Noone asked to help while I was in men's clothes, I stood at the jewelry counter without getting greeted for at least 5 minutes then she asked if I needed help and got a watch out for me and quoted a price. After grabbing my items andd taking them to the checkout, I realize the checkout line is 10 people deep with 2 cashier's, so the girl from the jewelry counter comes to help and I still stood in line 5-10 minutes. 3/5 because of customer service, availability of XXL/XXXL, organization, & staffing

TJ Maxx is doing an outstanding job of covid protocol with sanitization and ensuring no overcrowding in store. I always find what I am looking for and then a few things that I wasn't. Always neat and stocked.
