Second time taking my dog there. She is a cocker spaniel. First time they did good for her summer cut. This time took her in and wanted her skirt to be cut back in. The skirt does not go on top of her back. So paid almost 80 for a cut that now I have to take her somewhere else and have this mess fixed. Learn the proper cut for dogs. There skirts don’t look like a dang Mohawk like you have my dog looking like. Very very disappointed with this cut.

When my family and I started visiting this place to have our dogs groomed it was by far the best experience ever. However, over time we started to notice inconsistencies in the quality of grooming. Some of our dogs would have to be taken back to have their “cuts” or “trims” be evened out and uniformed. These experiences lead to us going elsewhere. I heed a word of caution should someone decide to use this place and strongly recommend examining your pets thoroughly. I do hope standards have returned to what they were during my initial couple of months of using their services.

If zero stars were an option, that's what they would have received. My husband arrived with our dog at 12:45 pm for his 1 pm grooming appointment and was told they were behind and they would not be able to groom our dog. We live an hour from this horrible "business". He drove two hours for NOTHING. They didn't have the decency to call and let him know. HORRIBLE!!!

I bought a brindle Frenchie Gracie from Becky that will be 1 1/2 years old July 4 th Very experienced with her breeding I would recommend her to anyone! So helpful nice and understanding and knowledgeable Highly recommended ❤️Will always buy my dogs from her!!!!

My experience with them was not a good one. Don’t send your pets here to be groomed. They injured my dogs eye and we accrued a vet bill for a chemical burn. They did not take personal responsibility. They seem to only be interested in selling puppies for high dollars and breeding. We will not be back. The ladies there can be very rude. They can not accept they make mistakes and get defensive. Read how they react to customers who have had a bad experience. Not the way you should run your business.

Today was a really bad experience. It wasn’t that they cut my sister dog wrong, was just how rude the receptionist was to me and my sister. I understand mistakes are made? But to be rude about the mistake of grooming the wrong dog at the wrong time, and then being rude about it like it’s the customers fault is unacceptable. To me that’s bad customer service. My sister has been a customer since spring of 2018 and was talked to the way she was today was uncalled for. Just because she went to ask about her dog because of the women telling me what went wrong in such a rude way having to stop in the middle of his cut to do another dog all was because of poor communication. And also criticizing the fact of how early she went to check on how far they was in his grooming was very unprofessional. This should be a concern due to the fact there is better ways to handle a situation and being more professional about the matter. I felt that I needed to leave a review, no one should be treated that way my sister and I was today.Also the owner was there allowing this to go on her talking to a customer in a very unfriendly way.

Very friendly.. The young man took special care of my rescue pup. She is very afraid of men in general from being abused. He was very gentle with her.. There grooming area was very clean. They did an awesome job grooming my Morkie and cutting my rescue pups nails.

I breed and own rough collies, and have 5 furbabies currently. Grooming 5 by yourself can be a handful, thus I found them thinking it would help lighten the load of grooming my babies by myself. The initial meet with them was great, good attitude, great personalities. Real interested in helping me as best they could. I told them upfront the collie I would be bringing was a Rough Collie who weighed 75lbs, and that he had never been groomed by someone other than me. The woman was great. We had an appointment for 10am May 20th, since he was a big boy I knew he would need a good bit of time. I was fine with that. Come May 18th, I had a death in the family, and that day called them to reschedule. Again, they were understanding, helpful, and all around a nice experience. We had him scheduled for the week of June 1st, and again early in the morning which I completely understood. Then came today. Today they called me, and acted as if we hadn't talked twice about what we were doing. Acted as if my Collie who I had twice explained was a big baby, and understood he would need extra time this being the reason we scheduled him early. Acted as if it was a hassle to have him groomed and bathed on the same day, and all about gave me the feeling like I was inconveniencing them for wanting to bring him there. They were rude to me acting as if I was in the wrong for not knowing exactly what I wanted, because I unfortunately have never really needed to take them a groomer till now. I didn't mean to cause them any trouble, but I just went ahead an cancelled my appointment in all. I just didn't want to burden them with my furbaby if it was going to be such a hassle of their end. I am not one to normally complain, but it felt just awkward them calling me acting as if I was just ruining their business for wanting to bring my dog in.

Dear Miss Bekkie and family! Annie Mae had a wonderful time today as usual! I call it her spa day! I just wanted to thank you all so very much for all of your kindness and all of your respect mixed with so much love towards us! Everytime we are there we are greeted with smiles and sweetness! It is such a blessing to know that Annie Mae is safe and well taken care of when I bring her to you! I highly recommend Paradise Pets to everyone! It is always a pleasure seeing and talking with all of you! As I said before I will never take Annie Mae to anyone else but Paradise Pets! We love all of you so very much! I have been going here for years for all of my dogs needs. The owner is extremely knowledgeable in grooming, breeding, and with general upkeep of dogs. She has 40 years experience with animals (dogs), and I would recommend this pet shop to anyone, whether that be locally or out of county.

My poor little dogs was not cut like the picture I had shown or explained. I have two girls the top of there heads were completely cut they always wear hair bows they can't now first time this has ever happened. I did not want my dogs cut down where you could see there skin and that's exactly how they're cut. I didn't snap out in the store I even left a tip just because I know its a process to clean dogs. However I'm VERY disappointed I will not ever return. To make matters much worse my dogs have fleas with the Seresto collars. I've sprayed natural flea repellent on them and now they're gooey feeling so now they need another bath and I'm out of more money trying to rid fleas. Did they get them from this place is a mystery they didn't have fleas before they went though. I'm very unhappy about the whole grooming experience here this hasn't ever happened before.

Staff goes above and Beyond! Love them, that they accept walk-ins. I'm a truck driver and appointments are extremely difficult on the road! They will have my business anytime I get into Beckley and I'm sharing our experience with other drivers!

Oh boy my Freddie’s a 10 month old golden lab ball of energy!! He’s been boarded and groomed here and always happy 😊 when I pick him up! He smells so clean, looks so shiny and THANKFULLY his nails are buffed too ♥️!! Thanks all so much for loving Freddie as much as I do!

Fantastic Groomer & Boarder. Staff is experienced, great with the pets, your animal always looks amazing after each visit. The boarding area is well kept, spacious, very pet friendly.

They are very nice people. They take great care of my Yorkie every time he has been there. The groomers must have a great rapport with animals because he is never afraid to go. Other places he has been terrified.

Very rude. I just stopped in to ask if they had a certain breed puppy or knew of any WV breeders - and was given a snarky response "NO WE DON'T!"Never will enter that place again. No, I am not calling you. But if you wish to know - it was a tall thin lady - in her 50's - at the front counter. Another lady was in an office, sitting at a desk. I could see her thru the glass.

I called about boarding my dog.I asked several questions, and the lady said they only take them out twice a day to use the bathroom, and your fur babies are left there in that building from 6:30 pm to 8:30 am all alone.

Horrible experience. Went to order a snake and had to wait for the ladies to call and find out details. Then after 2 weeks of waiting was calling to get details and was avoided and hung up on. Definitely not hapoy with that at all. Poor customer service

Pet boarding is in crates of a place that specializes in dog grooming. There isn't a place for dogs to get outside and run for a bit.
