Good products and prices. Checkout is ridiculously slow. Cashier left the drink I purchased out of my bag ($100+ of items) and when I realized (15 minutes later) and returned to the store I couldn't get any help. Just dumb questions and blank stares. Not like I was hard up for the $2.40 drink it's the principal of it.

Bought a crossbow had it 3 days went to sight it in an string broke tried getting a refund/exchange they refused said we had to contact the manufracture to get parts... NEVER buy a bow off of them..

Horrible experience. 4 workers standing around the 1 register than was open. It would be one thing if they were doing something productive, but they were just standing around talking. Couldn’t even get to the debit card reader because they were in the way as I was being checked out. The one lady that was working a register was nothing but rude.

It's okay.... I went in to look at handguns but you have to show your license to just touch the gun which is ridiculous.I went to rural King and had a much better experience. Friendlier staff and more knowledgeable staff.

Went to purchase some sporting goods and ECT, ECT, have to say we'll call him 'Mr.Adkins', professional ethics as well as the manager she was excellent as they help with my purchase, he was training another employee as well as the time as well assistance with my application knocked out both tasks with ease, as for the manager she was very pleasing to chat with as I waited for the process to be approved also helping me with my other items as the cashier he was cool to talk with as well as we checked out furthermore great place to visit and do business with, prices are good as well just needs a bit of housekeeping but hey they are on it you can tell! Great job looking forward in doing more business opportunities in the future as this is what customer service and support is all about.

This store in Beckley is a train wreck! It’s always out of place. The help isn’t helpful. I have tried to buy some big purchases there like a gun safe and a ping pong table and had to leave before my head exploded. Not really sure how they are still in business based on management alone

First and last time there. Went in to buy a weight. I had about 10 minutes and check out took even longer than that with NO OTHER PEOPLE. The cashier, some kid who didn't care at all, needed a bar code to ring up the weight which didn't have one on it for some reason. He called a slow manager who took forever and never did get one. I left without making the purchase and I am sure they don't care at all. Avoid this place.

Nice store but the coupons they have are a little misleading. 15% ,20% , some even 45% off any one purchase ! That sounds good and all but you can't use them on anything on sale and just about everything is .

Terrible. Was told they had an item when called upon. When arriving associate was sitting in the floor doing some stocking he did get up to hand the item to me while walking back to the floor the item was not the needed item and the associate would not get up and offer any help. Had to look the department over on my own. Gave up. Went ahead and looked at other items only to find out that everything was over priced by 25 to 40 percent. Had to leave store upon being discussed. Probably will not return. By the way the associate never got up from the floor even while another customer asked for help. They actually asked me where something was and made comment about the store pricing and help that was offered

Absolutely the worse customer service I've had in a long time. 2 employees standing there arguing with each other on how to do paperwork while one was supposed to be helping me. They lost a big sale. I walked out and went to Rural King, where I got MUCH BETTER customer service AND way better prices!!

Locked bathrooms. You have to ask for someone to unlock the door and walk all the way back. Same with the dressing room. I guess they do this so people don't steal, but the bathroom I had to be let into wasn't even clean. The staff was friendly, but not really knowledgeable other than trends. There is a good selection there, but I couldn't find what I needed in there. Otherwise, the store was clean.

The brands they carry at this store are the main Ines most people look for like under armour, Nike, Coleman, and the prices are close to if not the exact price they are online other stores like Amazon. The store has a good selection of clothing and equipment but the only drawback to this store is they don't have very flashy and new eye catching clothing from the brands and some of their products look like they are last seasons. If that isn't a drawback to you then this is a good sporting goods store for whatever you could need

The Beckley,WV store refused to sell me a rifle. They have denied me my rights to buy and bare firearms. They said they have the right to refuse to sell a gun to anyone. I have no felonies in my background and I am over 21 and a woman. I was allowed to place the rifle on layaway and I have made 3 attempts to pick it up and they have refused to allow me to pick up my layaway or to cancel it and return my money. I have made calls to their district manager and he has never returned any of my calls. Are they planning to try to keep my layaway money. They have already breached a written contract. I only gave them 1 star because I couldn't post without marking it.

I really liked this site in Elkton. Associate Madison worked tirelessly to help my wife and i research the kayaks for availability. She is a great member of that team .

This store has a lot of clothing that is surrounded by some sports equipment. There is more selection of brands than the big box stores, but they cover the same outdoor activities. They don't seem to have the equipment for climbers, or whitewater boaters.
