This is one of the coolest coffee shops I've ever visited. We went on a Saturday morning and got a black medium roast, caramel latte with oat milk and a white hot chocolate. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. The atmosphere was amazing. They had local art on the walls, games you could play and nice comfy seating. There were fairy lights on the ceiling. We would definitely go back.

Everyone was kind, there was a little mix-up with my order but my fault as I can't speak up well enough. A tad slow and one drink wasn't mixed, but otherwise fantastic. The rock wall was impressive and the mini golf was super cute the food and coffees were all delicious, definitely recommend. Really nice aesthetic.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly!

I've only been to Chocolate Moose twice while on road trips passing through the area, but I seriously wish I lived closer to this little coffee shop. They are open from morning until 9:30 at night weekdays, unlike a lot of independent coffee shops that close in the afternoon. Weekend hours are a little different but still great. The atmosphere is cozy and cute with tables that have game boards under the glass surface and comfy chairs that invite you to stay awhile. Best of all, the lattes my daughter and I had were delicious! They have classic flavors, and they also have a variety of specialty flavors. If you enjoy coffee drinks and live in the Beckley, WV, area or plan to be passing through, I highly recommend a stop at Chocolate Moose.

I came from out of state and was really excited to see a coffee shop near Tamarack. Not only was this the best coffee shop I've ever been to, they have mini golf in the back!I got a thrice spice chai and my significant other got a smoothie. Both were phenomenal! The service was fast and super kind. The atmosphere inside was cozy and cute. I can't say enough good things about this business. I wish I had this in my bigger city as I have nothing of this caliber. I will miss you Chocolate Moose, until next time.

The selection of drinks here is HUGE and that doesn't at all compromise quality. The staff are friendly, fast, and knowledgeable which is impressive considering the size of the menu here. I tried the bacon/egg/cheese bagel and the Monte Cristo bagel sandwich and both were super tasty. I worked from this cafe for a few days while traveling and frankly I'm in a mild panic not knowing where to get my 20oz hot Mothman latte in the future...Bubble tea is also to die for (freshest tapioca i think i've ever had??)

A large variety of different coffee options! So many cool coffee concoctions. We were passing through the area and saw the reviews online and decided to stop. Glad we did! Decided to splurge and get some sweet drinks, it is so glad we did! Delicious! Wow! I got the Mellow Moose, and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had! My husband got the Mothman, which he said was good as well.Coffee shop has a woodsy vibe, with a variety of different seating options. There were some board games and nice counter spaces to set up. It did have its own parking lot, and behind the coffee shop was the mini golf and climbing area.Parking: Coffee shop had its own parking lot. Kid-friendliness: There were a variety of families when we stopped in the morning. Also they offered smoothies and muffins/cookies.

If you are a coffee aficionado, you will want to stop here. They have the most creative, swoonworthy coffee options I’ve ever seen in addition to the most expansive offerings of sugar-free (SF) syrups. We had a large, iced Bearded Blondie and a SF raspberry and white chocolate latte with heavy cream. Delish! Wonderful community-building atmosphere. We’re an hour drive from here, and rest assured, this is definitely a place we will return again and again.This was the second time we stopped in. When we visited the day prior, they were humming at 5:00 pm! We were second in line and almost 10 minutes elapsed before the person ahead of us was acknowledged and someone took her order. We had an appointment and had to leave before we were able to place an order. They are popular!

Ok, so this is a review on cold coffee beverages as they can be quite different compared to traditional hot coffee. We've travelled extensively and have tried coffee chains (US-based ones and in Europe). We've also try local shops when we come across highly rated ones.Chocolate Moose shocked us a little and in a good way. This is one of the best coffee shops we've tried and we're a little jealous that we don't have something similar in the big city where we're from. Definitely a must visit if you're in Beckley and the vibe is really neat. This reminds me a little of the Red Cup in Oklahoma City (only the atmosphere).

Excellent coffee shop! The owner is so friendly and makes an awesome cup of coffee! They have a bunch of fun specialty flavors to choose from or they also have all you basics! They do coffee, smoothies, ice cream and more! They also have a climbing wall and mini golf! Might have to play a round next time we pass through Beckley!

So happy I stopped by this place as I was visiting a friend in town. Located right next to a mini golf course and rock climbing gym. As soon as I walked in I felt I walked into somebody’s home which certainly matches the customer service - super friendly.I was very picky with my order - wanted black cold brew with a caramel cold foam. They were super friendly about it and made sure to make it the way we wanted. Tasted delicious.I will most certainly stop by again if I am ever in town.

We stopped here because we are Mini Golf Enthusiasts, but were enticed by the delicious smell of coffee that led us to the coffee shop to start. The barista couldn’t have been sweeter, and went over the extensive menu with us - so many incredible options! Fun fall drinks, interesting regular offerings, and basic coffee drinks as well. They also had many non-coffee offerings for any palate! We found our way over to the Mini Golf area with the hope of putting a bit for fun. We did not expect to find such a thoughtful and interesting course featuring all the highlights of WV!! Such a fun find, and a great way to spend the afternoon. We didn’t check out the climbing walls or the ice cream offerings, but they both looked appealing! What a charming spot!

Chocolate Moose is an unexpected find! Support local businesses and check it out- the coffee shop rocks- the roast their own beans, chill atmosphere. It's attached to a downhill miniature golf course and indoor outdoor climbing wall... something for everyone! (They have pepperoni rolls and ice cream if your not into the 1st three options)
