This is the best place in town to shop everything that you would need. All their products are easily accessible and they are neatly arranged. The store's well maintained too. There's a Starbucks inside the store. It was easy to find what I was looking for. They also have a lot of vegan options available. Self checkout process was quick and easy. They are open 24 hours which makes it even more convenient for customers to shop according to their needs.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I asked for and received help on several items I was looking for from staff that were doing click list gathering. Even though it was not there job to help! This store has, or can get, most items you look for from a Kroger supermarket. The staff will also help you save money by pointing out items that may be on sale! The location is a great convenience and easy to get in and out of. I greatly recommend the Big K ( Kroger brand soft drinks). They are way better than most off brand soda!I also recommend the Kroger brand foods are excellent and inexpensive.The bakery is filled with a variety of treats and breads that are high quality and delicious.The seafood section is second to none in the local area. They have a variety of fresh seafood, including salmon!The meat section has a wide variety and a very helpful staff.I highly recommend this location. It has everything a Kroger should have and the staff is very helpful. Needless to say, it is busy during the late afternoon!

Prices are extremely to high, and customers will go to different locations to get better prices on food,and when asking mangers to check on product availability they say they don't do the orders, and watch out being double charged when going through checkout

I swear this is the best Kroger's you could ever shop in!! I didn't give it 5 ⭐s because the Pharmacy is one of the worst pharmacies I've ever been to. They are soooo slow & they are frequently out of my meds.

Everybody knows that this Kroger, at least in this area is the bougie Kroger. They're always clean they're always stocked and they always have what I need. And who doesn't love some starbies when they're on a Kroger run!

No large yellow corn tortillas for my chicken enchiladas, and several other items I can't find anywhere since moving here from California that were common there. But they do have items I can't find at Walmart where I do alot of shopping.

Kroger has some of the best baggers around. They are friendly and don't just throw your groceries in the bag. It's one of the reasons we shop there.

Just had a bad experience at this Kroger's Deli, I waited unacknowledged at the hot part of the Deli counter, and the sole employee at the Deli ignored me and proceeded to help another customer who waited for less than I did. I interrupted their transaction and made them aware I hadn't been helped. The Deli manager, Todd, confronted me for yelling at their employee, however once I made him aware of the situation he did not attempt to help me with my situation.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Love there app, type in what you're looking for and it tells exactly which aisle and shelf it's on. Most helpful as it is a large store. Prices were good, selection was great.

Great selection. Good variety of imported items. Fresh produce and competitive prices.With the mobile app you can save even more money and get bonus coupons and events. The 4X fuel points on gift cards is a huge plus!For every $100 spent, you get 10 cents off per gallon of fuel. Up to a $1 off per gallon (1000 points).The app does keep track of your purchases and offers you digital coupons based on what you frequently buy. When it comes to groceries, Kroger is the only place I shop. I refuse to give Lord WaldeMort a single penny. If I can't buy it at Krogers, I get it online.Overall, I highly recommend shopping at Kroger, especially with the Kroger App.

Large selection of items, but they always seem to be out of stock of something I need. They manage their inventory terribly! I've even complained to Kroger corporate, but nothing changes. You'll likely do better at the Foodfair right next to it. That's where I often go now.

Kroger has been our go to store since about 2008 and we shop there several times week. Up until five years ago we’ve never had any complaints. The store used to have a large selection and was great about keeping items in stock. However starting in 2018 the store has been in steady decline when it comes to stock. We can purchase pet items online but have been reluctant to do so because we’d rather spend our money locally. However due to lack of selection and lack of in-stock pet items we have decided to start shopping online. We are saddened that Kroger has decided to not stock pets items the way they used to in the past.

Today was a first for me at Kroger in Barboursville WV. I was looking for vegetable oil and was shocked there were no small bottles, only large. A Kroger employee (Connie) saw me and asked if she could help. That’s the first time I ever recall someone at Kroger asking me if they can help. I generally have to find someone to ask for help. I recommend an “at-a-girl” award for this lady. She even tracked me down with a bottle of vegetable oil that she said was the smallest in the store. I said thank you I appreciate your efforts but that is still too big. She appears to be a great employee by trying to sell me a bottle rather than let me leave the store to buy it elsewhere! You can't purchase more than 10 bottles of soda there.The manager made me put back the soda, saying it would put the store under by me buying 10- 2 liters.Mind you, it wasn't on sale and there was no posted limit!!!!! Paid cash, too.

For sure the nicest Kroger around here the one on first Street we call it the crackhead Kroger the one on 5th Avenue that’s a step up it’s a little better and then the one in Barboursville is called the Gucci Kroger. It’s for sure the nicest one around Huntington.

Very disappointed in my shopping experience here today. Management needs to review hospitality standards with their employees. I was looking for a cinnamon broom (no luck) when I overheard an interaction between a customer and employee at the flower counter. The employee was entering inventory I assume in a white binder when an older gentleman around 70 years said, "Excuse ma'am. Would you help me." He had a vase and flowers he wanted to purchase. I couldn't believe my ears when she told him, "I can't do that right now. I'm busy and I'd have to charge you labor."One, this gentleman has probably been patronizing the store since before it was at its current location. Two, how difficult would it have been to take 5 minutes from writing in the binder to assist this gentleman. Three, labor??? To simply assist an elderly customer by placing water in a vase he is purchasing and perhaps cutting stems from flowers he is purchasing. That should be a complimentary service for customers. It takes all of 5 minutes and the employee is already working.The experience honestly threw me off so much that I ended up forgetting half my list and just went to Foodfair instead.

There grocery pickup system is absolutely asinine. They have no logistical system in place to expedite orders in a timely fashion for customers. A Kroger representative told me they overbook by 70 to 100 orders daily & fill them as they get to them, that's absolutely absurd & completely unmanageable for a time slot based system. Customers should never have to be called 3 days in a row to be told there time slotted grocery order was moved to a time slot 2 hours later than they scheduled it or completely moved to a different day in order to be successfully filled. That's not a system, that's pure idiocy.

This is a GREAT store! Best Kroger in area. Its our Guchi Kroger☺❤ love shopping there. Clean, fresh meat and fruits/veggies. Huge selection of food I cant find elsewhere. Staff in store and pharmacy are always so nice, helpful and they go out of their way to help shoppers. Love their great selection of fresh flowers all year long too. Deli and bakery excellent too. Thanks to all their employees for making shopping there a pleasure, not a dreaded chore.

The Best Kroger around! It has a wide variety of food etc. I love the Starbucks there. The Deli and Bakery is awesome. The produce section is great. It just an awesome place!! My favorite place to shop!

I love the Kroger in Barboursville. It is always so clean and neat. It is almost always stocked with fresh and ripe fruits and vegetables. You can usually find anything that you could possibly need or want in there. And besides the prices always being great to start with, they have great online coupons and if your a member they will mail you special coupons just for you. Can ya tell what my favorite store is??? 😆

My spouse and I went into this store to do some shopping after the children went to bed. We hadn't really been going for a while because we just recently moved back to the area. We didn't have a Kroger card. The cashier did not tell us if we needed to fill out the paperwork right then or mail it in, etc until after. There was a lady with a dog asking for a manager and the older cashier was telling her basically to go find him, asking the customer if he was in the back, etc. Her and another cashier were whispering loudly about the lady when she walked away. When I asked the male cashier were something was, he pulled up an app but looked at me like I had 3 eyes. The biggest issue is when I asked (quietly because I'm quite shy) where the restroom was while my spouse paid for groceries. When I got back out he was still on the other side of the store near the cash register with our cart, checked out. The older cashier asks if we had paid for all of out boxes of drinks. This was quite embarrassing. We stood while she decided to look at the receipt 5 mins after he had checked out. She asked my spouse where the drinks were on the receipt. He told her near the bottom (most were). She asked if he was sure. SHE had just checked him out! After a few minutes, she gave back the receipt, said "ok, sorry" in a harsh tone as seems her normal by this point. We went through the door, thoroughly embarrassed. The alarm goes off. I get home, find out she had missed one of the security stickers on the baby's cans of formula, though they were all on the receipt. I took photos and kept my receipts as I plan on showing corporate. This is unacceptable behavior and attitude. I understand everyone has negative days, but you do not act this way at your job. Aside from this, I was impressed by the sushi counter and the lady working there also handing us chop sticks and such, the store cleanliness, and the cheese counter as well! I would love to continue doing my shopping here but some of the cashiers and people walking around are not doing their jobs well (at all).
