Dollar General in AugustaI want to start off by saying I have never dropped off a Fedex package before so I did not know the process.The Manager Molly needs to be properly Trained on how to speak to Customers.I walked into Dollar General and Molly was walking towards me to go to the Cash Register and Assistance the customers in line and I just asked her Respectfully “Do y’all Accepted Fedex Drop offs and she said “yeah we do” and Molly Said it with a attitude. So I stood by the door waiting for her to Finish with the 2 Customers that were in line, well she turns and looks at me and said “you need to get in line “ also said with a attitude. So i walk around and get into line . As i noticed that she was talking Nicely to the 2 older Customers that were in front of me in line. So once it was my turn I put the package on the counter Nicely even though I was upset at the fact that I spoken to with such Disrespect I continued to be a respectful person. So Molly picked up the Scanner For Fedex Packages then looks up at me and Molly Says in a Snobby Tone “Phone Number?” And I said “Phone Number for the package?” And Molly Said “For the package.” And I said “What phone Number do you Need ? Is it the phone number used when she made the label ? I’m dropping this off for my mom so I don’t know.Now if Molly would have Ask “what phone number would you like to use to receive updates on you package” then I would have understood the first time Molly had asked me. So I gave her my phone number Then Molly said “okay all done” then I walked out .But from start to Finish Molly was Disrespectful and Very Unprofessional.When someone works a job in any customer Service you Deal people and it doesn’t matter what is going on in ur personal or business life there is no excuse or Reason for anyone to treat people with Disrespect especially when you are not being Disrespected by the other person to begin with.

One of the better dollar stores I have visited, not only in this area, but in other parts of the state as well. Only complaint I would have, if i must give one, is that the lines are always long therefore, the wait is a little longer than normal. Other than that, great selection, workers are always smiling and eager to help which I find refreshing. So I will continue to visit and shop at this dollar store. Kudos to u guys!!

I usually love shopping here, the staff is very friendly and helpful although the store needs to be more updated with supply and demand. There always out of what I come for and they say they always go quick. Well then order more, obviously customers want this item. So I have to go to the Capon Bridge Dollar Store where they always have it. That store seems to have more items to offer than the Augusta Store.

I do not know how anyone can find anything in this piled up disaster. Stopped in here for the first time yesterday and I believe it was my last. I was only searching for jars wouldnt have found them if they did have them. Had a heck of a line behind us checking out and one poor little cashier working by herself. Where is the useless manager getting her some help and getting that mess in that store cleaned up. I don't think he is too good at doing his job.

The one big problem with DG is having to stand in line behind 9 customers to check out. The employees are not to blame. They work as fast as they can but no one opens a second register. Where is manager?

Ok. I'm cool with dollar general. They usually have what I need apart from a few things that they seem to always be out of but this one in particular just rubbed me the wrong way. While I was looking around with my husband, two kids and my mother-in-law, we were asked a total of 7 times of we needed help with anything. SEVEN FREAKING TIMES! the first time I bit the hook. Hell, I was trying to find a small shelf for my mother-in-law's camper but after I over heard a worker ask "where did they go?" With the other replying " they're here" as she came out of an isle then immediately asked again " do you need help with something?" I told her "No thanks. You don't have what shes looking for." I then heard the second employee ask my mother-in-law "do you need help with anything?" She politely said "No, we're fine." And walked away. We continued to peruse their so-called "SALE!" and I was asked another two times.Also, I should note that this place only had 3 people working for them.My mother-in-law went to pay for her items and quickly walked to the candy isle to get my daughters some M&Ms before being asked a final two times.At this point I was over it. I went up to pay and announced to the cahsier/interrogator that I understand people steal from them but christ, instead of having people constantly ask if you need anything you should have someone watching the cameras since your going to need evidence if someone steals from you. I also told her that while they might have just been being polite, they clearly chose to follow us around instead of doing their actual jobs.Word of advice- IF WE NEED YOUR HELP WE WILL COME AND ASK YOU!have a lovely day!

Convenient place to shop and nice people work there also. But prices are going up up and up thanks to a war and rising recession fears around the world.God help us
