First time here, looked at some of the reviews place seemed to be poppin’ seeing as it was kind of in the middle of no-where, but they do have semi truck parking which we appreciate. When we walked in there was a bit of a line that trailed into the gas station next to it, waiting about 5-10 minutes (we came in right at 4pm so it was about dinner time) there was a group of 3 in front of us and a group of 5 behind us, they did seat them first I guess due to the availability of chairs for bigger groups rather than smaller (we were a group of 2) so we did wait a minute or 3 longer since they let them go first which was questionable but it was a small establishment. For an appetizer we skipped out on the basics. I went for the unlimited salad bar as I noticed right off the bat that it was an organized salad bar with my favorite fixings. My husband had been craving corn bread so he got the bean soup and cornbread. I greatly enjoyed the salad and kept going back for more, while my husband said the corn bread was good and satisfied his cravings the bean soup was watery and lacked any sort of flavor. The wait time for our main courses did take a while maybe around 20-30 minutes or so, and although I had the salad bar to eat from I didn’t want to get full off of just salad. I also noticed that despite it being a small restaurant the waitresses didn’t really pay much attention to smaller groups and focused more on the bigger ones. My husband and I only got 1 refill and that wasn’t until after we got our main course (which was after 20-30 minutes) that our waitress noticed we needed refills. My husband ordered the New York Strip which he says was not the best, and kept trying to decipher what the steak was missing. I ordered the Honey Mustard Chicken which I believe was a bit dry, maybe overcooked? Wasn’t too sure but it wasn’t my favorite, so I did end up getting full off of salad instead of my chicken. Something we both could agree on is their Curly Fries are AMAZING! I highly recommend. And their ranch tasted home made! Which I was soo happy once I got a taste. We finished with the Brownie Sundae which was pretty tasty, warm and chocolatey a bit heavy on the whip cream but over all a good way to end a mid-tasting meal. I was able to take a salad to-go and my husband got some Potato Salad (which he loved) and the French Fries to-go as well. Definitely loved the vibes, felt country-but clean and warm, a very comforting place. Loved the truck parking, makes it easy for us truckers/passengers to enjoy the good stuff too. Upon leaving, we noticed the parking lot was packed. Seems like a really popular place, hopefully in the future they can expand and make the place bigger. Would love to see them grow, maybe make their way down to Texas someday. :)total from today’s dinner was $74 for two people.Parking: They offer semi truck parking, they had a good 16 parking spotsand 5-6 more spots for parallel parking for trucks.Kid-friendliness: They do offer a kids menu and options.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is ground level, seems easy to get in and get out.

I had a family member tell me that the food here was wonderful. I had tasted their coconut cream pie at a family event. She advised it was right off the Alta exit of I-64 and was attached to a gas station. When I arrived i saw that they had a special for the day. For $5.95 they had the potato soup with either a grilled cheese sandwich or cornbread. My wife got the grilled cheese and I got the cornbread. I also got a piece of coconut cream pie.The potato soup was fantastic, as was the grilled cheese sandwich. The cornbread was tasty but was a bit crumbly. We ended up buying an entire pie to bring to another family event we are currently having. The food here is delicious and I can't wait to stop again very soon. Two thumbs up!

The food here was very good. My granddaughter is excited because Wednesday nights is spaghetti night special and she looks spaghetti. Unfortunately I only get to go there when I come to West Virginia to visit my daughter and her family but I will remember to request that I get to go there the next time I come especially when I come for breakfast now.

Great home style food! Friendly staff. Bathrooms need cleaning and remodeling. Otherwise excellent all around.

Literally amazing. We stopped simply cause we were getting gas on a road trip but decided to get some food. The waitress was so helpful and went over all of her favorites and described how some of the meals we were considering are made. We decided on the chicken salad sandwich, it was hands down best chicken salad ever. So yummy and flavorful. She also made sure we had plenty of sauce for our fries and the honey mustard and ranch were to die for. We attempted to come back on our way home but they were closed. Can’t wait to go again someday!!

Food was amazing for the amount of food and the quality could not have been better. My receipt says my server was Johanna, she was amazing even while very busy she was attentive and very fast with my food. Was very willing to help in any way I needed. I hope management passes this on to her. I hope she keeps up the good work.

If I could put minus ➖ I would such a disappointment I had heard nothing but great things. Worst food the burger was a double and paper thin what was worse the guy busing our table bragged about them saying top sirloin lol he needs to sell cars. The Philly cheese steak was child size and not even close to a Philly cheese sandwich. Salad bar was terrible too looked old not fresh. All around terrible 43 dollars wasted on two small meals. Don’t waste your time on this place.
