I have shoped at yelm farm and pet for years and have worked here for a time. They have such a warm eniviting atmosphere that you barely get anywhere else these days. Honesty, professionalism, and that welcomed feeling we lack in these times are garunteed, highly recommend!

I drove out on Saturday they closed at 2pm so their staff could go to a wedding in Yelm. How cool is that! I'll give 5 stars just for that. This showed me the kindness of the owners. Trashing a local business for leaving you on the phone on hold is a bit extreme! I'm looking forward to shopping supporting a local business.

Great staff and awesome variety of supplies! We get critter food, hay, etc from this store on a regular basis. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Love this store.!!!! I had to bottle fed 2 kittens....and I need a bigger sirenge to be able to fed them more at once. The other big corporation store just down the road, their staff shrugged their shoulders and said they didn't have any......so I went here and they had a huge wall with a huge selection of different sizes and styles. They lady working was so helpful and nice. Plus they had a few different kinds and sizes of cat milk......for cheaper than the corporate store......AMAZING!!!! Tremendous help.

I get propane here. Very fast, friendly and they take the tank out of my car and put it back in. Awesome place.

Love this place!! They sell quality products!! I love getting stuff here for my pets. Also, I purchase stuff to keep the moles out of my yard and in the summer fly and bee traps. Lots of really cool stuff here.

You definitely felt that warm feeling of a small family owned business. I work for a big box chain store but I always take my business to locally owned stores and farms .they had quite the selection from house hold goods to farming items. My favorite is all the varieties of dog treats. Definitely going back .

Quick, friendly, and obviously family owned and loved. Great price on propane and I didn't have to wait at all to have it filled. Employees wearing masks, and several signs on the door reminding customers to also wear masks. The desk also has plexiglass to minimize contact. My kids were excited to see all the bunnies around. Great experience, I'll continue coming here for weekly propane refills.

Very friendly and helpful staff with fair prices.Great place to purchase good quality Holistic cat and dog food. Also if they don't normally carry what you want they will order it from the food companies rep when he stops by early in the week , Then when he returns in 2-3 days to drop off their main order he also drops what I wanted so it really is great to have that option.

My next door neighbor called me last night and was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery. She asked me to look after her husky, whose locked in their doggy porch with dog house and plenty of room/shade, until Friday.I went to the closest pet store for food and they looked up her account then donated a new bag from the same brand and wished her a speedy recovery.Thank you Yelm Farm and Pets for your outstanding compassion!

Service at the feed store is excellent, the pump and irrigation not so much, hours are irregular and now they are closed on Monday. New hours not posted on website, says Mon.- Fri. 9:00 - 5:00. Can't sell stuff if your closed. Needed a pressure switch and the 1/4" pipe. The switch was available at the feed store but not the pipe, found both at Mtn. Lumber.

Not the lowest prices, but not the highest I have seen for feed. It is very nice store with good selection. You just have to make through a cloud of several million flies that protect the front door and virtually make you feel like you are making your way through a concert crowd. Friendly people too.

Bought a control box for my well,upon testing it I realized it was defective.i took it back into the store to exchange it for one without a factory defect and was told that Dave the owner doesn't take returns on any electrical equipment.he informed me via text that nothing was wrong with the box,he never tested it ,looked at it or was ever in the same room as it so how does he know it's not defective.i asked the employees in the store to please test it they refused and said all sales are finale.so why would anyone buy anything that's brand new as is.ive tried to support this local businesses for years,even after being ripped off by Dave previously but this is it.i hope they lose all opportunity to ever ripp anybody off again,tractor supply here I come.

Great place, but am stunned to go there and find that the workers and most people coming in & out did not have masks to curb the coronavirus. Masks help the other person, which means their employees do not care about their customers. Sad, so sad.

Yelm Farm and Pet is an independent store that provides excellent service and at a reasonable price. I drive a little further to shop at their store as they make it worth while. Check them out you will enjoy their friendly service and hometown hospitality.

It's a smaller and naturally doesn't have the selection of a large city, however if you're looking for friendly people and kind customer service this is it! They have a little bit of everything and it's a nice atmosphere.
